  • The principal objective of this study was to develop a scanning technique that helps patients reduce their anxiety and relax their physical tension in the MRI system. The study targeted 10 healthy persons with no medical history of anxiety disorder in the past and with no current clinically diagnosed anxiety disorder, as well as 10 patients who were currently experiencing an anxiety disorder during the MRI scanning. The focusing board assembly was self-manufactured to conduct a clinical experiment via MRI scans. As a method to confirm the efficacy of the experiment, the bio meter was used to measure brainwaves from the study targets that were divided into the normal person group (A), who felt no anxiety in the MRI system and the experimental group, (B) who did experience anxiety in the MRI system. The two groups were compared between the cases in which the focusing board assembly was used and not used after measurements were conducted using the model MRI system and the bio meter. According to the comparison and analysis results, low measurements of the ${\alpha}$ wave indicate highly effective relaxation of tension. In the normal person group, the ${\alpha}$ wave measurement showed almost no difference between cases in which the focusing board assembly was used and cases in which it was not used. In the experimental group, the $\acute{a}$ wave measurements were lower in cases in which the focusing board assembly was used than in cases in which the focusing board assembly was not used; this was indicative of a profound relaxation effect.

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate the cost-saving effect of R&D investment in the ICT industry. As is well known, the R&D investment induces both the product innovation and the process innovation, in turn leads the effect of creating profit and cutting cost. However, it appears that studies concerned with the cost-saving effect of R&D investment have been unproductive, while most existing studies concentrate on the topic involved with the creating profit of R&D investment. Therefore, we extend the effect of R&D investment to a framework of the cost-saving focusing on the ICT industry. To empirically analyze the effect, we built a simultaneous three-equation model comprising a translog cost function and two cost share equations, and employed the SUR analysis. As a result, we found out that the cost-saving effect on the total cost is statistically significant. In addition, we examined relationships between the R&D investment and each cost of production elements. The results show that on the one hand, the R&D investment and the intermediate good cost have the substitution relationship. On the other hand, the complementary relationship is observed between the R&D investment and each labor or capital cost.

  • The Effect of Career Barrier on Employment Preparation Behavior of College Students COVID-19: Focusing on Multi-parallel Mediation Effect and Moderated Mediation Effect of Career Adaptability and Ego-resilience. A survey was conducted on 238 students of K University. The result of this study. First, Career barrier, career adaptability, ego-resilience, and Employment Preparation Behavior all showed positive correlations. Second, it was found that there is a mediating effect of career adaptation and self-elasticity in the relationship between career barriers and Employment Preparation Behavior. Third, Ego-resilience was found to have a Moderated Mediation Effect. Based on this study, suggestions on Employment Preparation Behavior and discussions for follow-up studies were made.

  • In the success of an IT project, the role of S/W developer in carrying out the project is critical and crucial. However, compared to its importance, there is only a few studies on the role of human resources in software engineering field, mainly focusing on technology. Based on regulatory focus theory, this study examines how the effect of technology recency on developer's intention to participate in the IT project changes depending on the regulatory focus of the software developer. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that there is a difference in the effect of technology recency on project participation intention according to the condition of developer's regulatory focus. This study is meaningful because it extends regulatory focus theory to software engineering field and made theoretical contribution to the research field of behavioral software engineering. In practical, it was possible to suggest a way to improve the intention of the developer to participate in the project, by understanding the software developer in the IT project, considering the software developer propensity and project characteristics.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of technostress on intent-to-persist focusing on the stress coping in nursing college students. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive design was conducted with a survey of 153 nursing college students attending a university. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression, hierarchical analysis, and sobel test were performed using SPSS/WIN 23.0 for Windows. Results: The factor mediating technostress and intent-to-persist in nursing college student was emotion-focused coping behavior. Moreover, this mediating factor had a complete mediating effect between technostress and intent-to-persist in nursing college students. Conclusion: Based on this result, it will be necessary to develop educational strategies about smart device use and environmental supports that help them communicate about problems.
