The stability analysis of current mode controller considering feedback element (피드백 요소를 고려한 전류모드 제어기의 안정도해석)

  • Recently the power supply equipments have tendency to take multiple feedback loop paths. In this paper, the state space averaging technique is applied for the analysis of flyback type current mode control circuit. We made real converter for the gurantee of stable output characteristic and proper design of feedback circuit. The validity of proposed method is verified from test results. The improvement of stability is confirmed by sinusoidal signal injection method with isolated transformer. It is known that phase margin is sufficient and gain crossover frequency $f_c$, is nearly 1/5 of switching frequency $f_s$, from the experimental result with frequency response analyzer.

  • 본 논문에서는 산업장비 및 전자기기의 전원회로에 폭넓게 사용되는 플라이백 컨버터의 변압기를 기존 샌드위치 권선방식의 변압기가 아닌 동축 변압기를 사용하여 다출력 플라이백의 출력전압 변동을 최소화 하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법의 동축 변압기는 1,2차 측 커플링이 기존의 샌드위치권선 변압기 보다 우수하여 누설 인덕턴스를 최소화 할 수 있으며 이에 따라 부하 변동에 따른 출력전압의 변동을 최소화 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 45W급 플라이백 컨버터를 제작하여 동축변압기를 통한 개선된 다출력 플라이백 컨버터의 출력전압 변동특성을 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 동축권선 변압기를 이용한 승압형 플라이백 컨버터에 절연형 스위치드 커패시터 셀을 추가한 새로운 토폴로지를 제안한다. 제안하는 회로는 절연형 스위치드 커패시터 셀의 출력과 플라이백의 출력을 직렬 연결하여 고승압에 유리하고 스위치 온타임과 스위치 오프타임 모두 전력을 전달하여 기존의 플라이백 컨버터보다 향상된 변압기의 이용률을 가진다. 제안된 회로의 동작원리를 설명하고 60W급 하드웨어 프로토 타입을 이용하여 검증하였다.

  • 플라이백 컨버터는 다른 컨버터에 비해 간단한 구조를 갖고 있기 때문에 가장 많이 쓰이는 저전력용 컨버터 중 하나이다. 일반적으로 플라이백 컨버터에 있는 변압기를 전기적 등가회로를 이용하여 해석 해 왔다. 하지만 컨버터의 정밀한 특성을 필요로 하는 최근 추세로 변압기를 근사적으로 표현하는 전기회로의 사용에는 한계가 있다. 이에 플라이백 컨버터 변압기를 Gyrator Capacitor 모델링을 하여 이해하기 쉽고 정확한 분석과 설계를 가능하게 하고자 한다.

  • Recently, the demand for low-voltage, high-capacity ESS is rapidly increasing due to the revitalization of the e-mobility industry, which is mainly powered by electricity. In addition, the demand for portable power banks is rapidly increasing due to the revitalization of leisure industries such as camping and fishing. The ESS with this structure consists of a small number of series cells and many parallel cells, resulting in a system with a large rated current. Therefore, the number of power devices for cell balancing configured in series is small, but a balancing device with a large current capacity is required. Construction of a constant temperature device in such a low-voltage, high-current ESS is difficult due to economic issues. The demand for an active balancing system that can solve the passive balancing heating problem is rapidly increasing. In this paper, propose a power feedback fly-back topology that can solve the balancing heating problem. The characteristic of the proposed topology is that a series-connected voltage sharing voltage is used as the input of the flyback converter, and the converter output is connected to one transformer. In this structure, the converter output for cell voltage balancing shares magnetic flux through one high-frequency transformer, so the cell voltage connected to the converter automatically converges to the same voltage.

  • This paper proposes an effective drive of high intensity discharge (HID) lamp ballast for cars. All control functions of the proposed ballast are implemented using a low-cost single chip microcontroller, PIC16C73 to optimize the total system size and to minimize cost through minimization of total component number. The proposed ballast generates high open-circuit voltage to ignite the lamp and is controlled to supply effectively the power required to shorten warm-up period after the breakdown. The DC-DC converter of the DC-AC converter part of the ballast utilizes the flyback converter topology that can minimize component number. Also, because to more minimize the ballast size, the transformer size must be minimized, for this, PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) pulses are generated with high frequency using the PWM module of the microcontroller. An analysis for this is explained, briefly. As if the operation of the lamp and ballast arrives at steady-state, then the ballast must AC-control the lamp, for this, the microcontroller utilizes the other PWM module. And the part related to the igniter is explained, briefly. It is shown through experimental results that the controller of the proposed ballast has good performance for the HID lamp for cars.

  • The gyroscope is the sensor for detecting the rotation in inertial reference frame and constitute the navigation system together an accelerometer. As the inertial reference equipment for attitude determination and control in the satellite, the mechanical gyroscope has been used but it bring the disturbance for mass unbalance so the disturbance give a bad influence to the observation satellite mission because the mechanical gyroscope has the rotation parts. During the launch, The mechanical gyroscope is weak in vibration, shock and has the defect of narrow operating temperature range so it need the special design in integration. Recently the low orbit observation satellite for seeking the high pointing accuracy of image camera payload accept the FOG(Fiber Optic Gyro) or RLG(Ring Laser Gyro) for the attitude determination and control. The Ring Laser Gyro makes use of the Sanac effect within a resonant ring cavity of a He-Ne laser and has more accuracy than the other gyros. It need the 1000V DC to create the He-Ne plasma in discharge tube. In this paper, the design process of the High Voltage Power Supply for RLG(Ring Laser Gyroscope) is described. The specification for High Voltage Power Supply(HVPS) is proposed. Also, The analysis of flyback converter topology is explained. The Design for the HVPS is composed of the inverter circuit, feedback control circuit, high frequency switching transformer design and voltage doubler circuit.

  • 본 논문에서는 백라이트로 사용되는 CCFL의 점등을 위한 인버터를 연구대상으로 하였다. CCFL의 고전압 점등을 위해 다층 longitudinal 모드구조의 압전세라믹을 이용하였다. CCFL의 점등은 공진특성을 이용하는 것이므로 기계적인 공진주파수와 스위칭 주파수가 거의 일치할 수 있도록 L-C공진회로를 설계하였다. 인버터의 토플로지는 플라이백 기법을 적용하였으며 이를 위해서 권선의 배치에 의해 손실을 고려한 고주파 트랜스포머를 설계하였다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험 결과를 통하여 이에 대한 타당성을 입증하였다. 이로부터 공진주파수 48[kHz], 점등전압 600[V] 및 점등전류 6[mA] 얻었으며, 적용된 CCFL 램프사양은 관직경 $2.2{\phi}$와 관길이 314[mm], 압전세라믹 $43{\times}5.5{\times}2.3[mm]$를 이용하였다.
