  • This study is an introduction of ADS in which we have written out programs which can design three-dimensional machine parts and reduce the required time for design them comparing with other CADs. Among the machine parts, screws are commonly used in joining one part to another because of easy handing but welding and rivet are used to join permanently them even thought hard operation. Consequently, we have developed the screw for permanent fixing using stairs type screw threads, which is considered as the main machine parts in joining. For that, we designed permanent fastened screws according to the different rotation angle using VisualLISP and transferred it to ANSYS, structural solution program, to find out allowance load, maximum equivalent stress and where it occur.

  • The authors aim to design further an upgraded and self-contained position fixing system to meet the future commercial requirements. As a first step this paper is to investigate the theoretical structure of position fixing based on the nature of free gyro, in which the tilt angles of the two spin axes at an arbitrary position are measured respectively and the elapsed time with respect to a reference position or starting point is observed And it illustrates some limitations to be expected in this system.

  • In this study, the automatic system exchanging well-plates was developed as a basic stage of the genome project. The developed system consisted of the plate fixing well-plates, the well-plate cassette, the head to move a well-plate from the well-plate cassette to the plate fixing well-plates before genome work or from the plate to the cassette after the work, the manipulator to move the head on the X, Y and Z axes and the control system. The performance test to exchange well-plates with the robotic system developed was carried out. The time to set an well-plate from the well-plate cassette onto the board fixing well-plates was 55 seconds and the time for 9 ones was 8 minutes and 15 seconds. It took 57 seconds to move a well-plate from the board to the cassette and 8 minutes and 33 seconds for 9 ones.

  • Korean local festival had grown rapidly quantitatively and qualitatively for past 10 year. And also problems of domestic local festival had been indicated much by specialists and researchers who plan festival. But most precedent researches are stopping in problem presentation that is based in one point of time. In the meantime, most the very best culture tourism festivals are meeting fixing step through trial and error in historic process more than 10 years. It is important to solve fundamental problem that understand process so much. This research analyzed festival contents change aspect on fixing process as local representative festival by time-series analys, Yeongsangang culture festival to example. By the result, the biggest problem is that unclearness of festival subject by wide festival theme establishment is connected by losing festival's identity.

  • The purpose of the present study was to examine gaze effects on spatial and kinematic characteristics during a pointing task. Subjects were asked to watch and point to an aimed target (2 mm in diameter) displayed on a vertically mounted board. Four gaze conditions were developed as combinations of "seeing-aiming" in terms of the eye movements: Focal-Focal (F-F), Focal-Fixing (F-X), Fixing-Focal (X-F), and Fixing-Fixing (X-X). Both the home target and an aimed target were presented for 1 second and then were disappeared in F-F and X-F. In X-F and X-X, only an aimed target disappeared after 1 second. Subjects were asked to point (with index finger tip) to an aimed target accurately as soon as the aimed target was removed. A significant main effect of gaze was found (p<.01) for normalized movement time. Peripheral retina targets had significantly larger absolute error compared to central retina targets on the x (medio-lateral) and z (superior-inferior) axes (p<.01). A significant undershooting to peripheral retina targets on the x axis was found (p<.01). F-F and X-F had larger peak velocities compared to F-X and X-X (p<.01). F-F and X-F were characterized by more time spent in the deceleration phase compared to F-X and X-X (p<.01). The present study demonstrates that central vision utilizes a form of on-line visual processing to reach to an object, and thus increases spatial accuracy. However, peripheral vision utilizes a relatively off-line visual processing with a dependency on proprioceptive information.

  • This paper considers subway crew scheduling problem. Crew scheduling is concerned with finding a minimum number of assignments of crews to a given timetable satisfying various restrictions. Traditionally, crew scheduling problem has been formulated as a set covering or set partitioning problem possessing exponentially many variables, but even the LP relaxation of the problem is hard to solve due to the exponential number of variables. In this paper. we propose two basic techniques that solve the subway crew scheduling problem in a reasonable time, though the optimality of the solution is not guaranteed. We develop an algorithm that solves the column-generation problem in polynomial time. In addition, the integrality of the solution is accomplished by variable-fixing technique. Computational result for a real instance is reported.

The factors to determine the Station Headway have a fixing Price of the machine and the Dwell time. Other factors aye decided already or fixing price but the Dwell time that change according to demand cause the biggest effect at Station Headway. After analyze constituents that influence to Station Headway in this study calculated correct Station Capacity drawing estimating dwell time model that change according to demand.

  • Filler loading at thick stock was carried out in order to verify if the dual addition of filler can be used as a means to reduce the detrimental effects of filler on the strength properties of paper. PCC was added to 3.5% pulp slurry blended with HwBKP, BCTMP and SwBKP. Cationic starch was used as a fixing agent. The mixture of PCC and pulp was stirred for 5, 10 and 20min. at 1,000 rpm. The remaining PCC was washed out before handsheet making. PCC particles were flocculated and fixed on the pulp fiber and/or space between fibers. It is expected that the flocculation and inclusion of PCC can be helpful to improve the strength properties of paper due to the reduction of detrimental effect in fiber bonding. The distinct tendency in PCC flocculation and fixing on pulp fiber was not observed by the change of cationic starch dosage and treatment time.

  • The issue with the drainpipe now a day is that they are laid underground Causing us to perform additional work to repair, such as digging up the ground and peeling off the insulator that surrounds the pipe. And such series works are difficult that concession appears from government and municipal office. However, if we can save time and money. Performance of piping robot that we are studied in existing session through fixing unit and improvement of cutting byte shorten and wished to heighten work efficiency. This is why we aye trying to develop a unit that can cut up the projecting parts which connects with the interior part of the drainpipes.

  • During the nitrogen-fixing process, ammonia ($NH_3$) is incorporated into glutamate to yield glutamine and is generally not secreted. However, in this study, $NH_3$-excreting strains of nitrogen-fixing Paenibacillus were isolated from soil. The ammonium production by the Paenibacillus strains was assayed in different experiments (dry biomass, wet biomass, cell-free extract, and cell-free extract adsorbed on nano $TiO_2$ particles) inside an innovative bioreactor containing capsules of $N_2$ and $H_2$. In addition, the effects of different $N_2$ and $H_2$ treatments on the formation of $NH_3$ were assayed. The results showed that the dry biomass of the strains produced the most $NH_3$. The dry biomass of the Paenibacillus strain E produced the most $NH_3$ at 1.50, 0.34, and 0.27 ${\mu}M$ $NH_3$/mg biomass/h in the presence of $N_2$ + $H_2$, $N_2$, and $H_2$, respectively, indicating that a combined effluent of $N_2$ and $H_2$ was vital for $NH_3$ production. Notwithstanding, a cell-free extract (CFE) adsorbed on nano $TiO_2$ particles produced the most $NH_3$ and preserved the enzyme activities for a longer period of time, where the $NH_3$ production was 2.45 ${\mu}M$/mg CFE/h over 17 h. Therefore, the present study provides a new, simple, and inexpensive method of $NH_3$ production.
