치과방사선 촬영실의 환경 및 안전성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Environmental Condition and Safety in Dental Radiography Room)

  • This study is designed to conduct a questionnaire research into the safety control and the actual condition of radiography by working with dentistry belonging to university hospitals, dental hospitals and dental clinics for three months ranging from August, 2003 to October, 2003. The researcher came to the following conclusions. 1. The research on the current condition of possessed radiational equipment shows that 61.2 percent of the subjects had one intraoral radiation medicine and that 70.1 percent of the subjects had more than one extraoral radiation medicine and that 37.3 percent of the subjects had more than one digital radiation medicine. 2. Most of intraoral radiography (82.1%) was conducted by dental hygienists, and 7.5 percent of intraoral radiography was conducted by nurse aids. On the other hand, most of extraoral radiography (76.6%) was conducted by dental hygienists and digital radiography was conducted by dental hygienists(60.6%), dentists(32.0%) and radiographer(80.0%). 3. The less-than 1-meter-long distance between cone and the radiographer accounted for 44.8 percent. And the more-than 1.6-meter-long distance accounted for no more than 13.4 percent. The exposure time per standard film which was adjusted to each part accounted for 71.6 percent. Fixing the film on the part of healthy patients accounted for 76.1 percent. Fixing the film of elderly patients and children patients by the radiographer accounted for 43.3 percent. 4. The average daily photographing frequency of standard films stood at six to ten pieces(31.3%), and the average weekly photographing frequency of bitewing films stood at less than one piece(47.8%), and the dentistries where bitewing films were not employed accounted for 25.4%. The subjects whose average weekly photographing freqeuncy of occlusal films stood at less than a piece accounted for 59.7 percent. The dentistries whose average weekly photographing frequency of pediatric films stood at one to five pieces accounted for 41.8 percent. In case of panorama & cephalo, one to five pieces on a weekly average accounted for 36.2 percent. The dentistries whose average daily photographing frequency of digital radiation medicine stood at less than 1 piece accounted for 40.0 percent. 5. The research on the use of protective clothes shows that pregnant ·women only accounted for 31.3 percent. In regard to the use of protective clothes in case of the radiographers fixing films, the cases where no protective clothes were employed accounted for 88.1 percent. The reason was said to he attributable to the trouble related to wearing the clothes(54.2%). 6. The survey on the measurement of exposure dose shows that the cases where no measurement was made accounted for 76.1 percent. As far as the measurement methods of exposure dose was concerned, the employment of film badge accounted for 68.8 percent. The subjects turned out to conduct measurement of exposure dose every third month, which accounted for 43.8 percent. The barriers to the measurement of measurement of exposure dose were attributable to the recognition that a little amount of exposure dose need not be measured(29.9%). 7. The survey on the distinction of radiation rooms and clinic rooms reveals that the cases where radiation rooms exclusively existed accounted for 67.2 percent. 43.3 percent of the subjects turned out to have only one protective garment, and 49.3 percent of the subjects proved to conduct a periodical checkup of radiational equipment. The survey on the examination certificates of radiational generators and protective facilities indicates that 80.6 percent of the subjects had the certificates. The research also shows that the subjects with the marks indicating the radiational areas accounted for 70.1 percent. And trustees turned out to handle developing solutions and fixing solutions.

  • 최근(最近) 오(汚)${\cdot}$폐수처리(廢水處理)에 있어서 고정생물막(固定生物膜)을 이용(利用)한 방법(方法)이, 처리장(處理場) 운전(運轉)에 요구(要求)되는 동력(動力) 및 인력(人力)의 절감(節減)이라는 장점(長點)으로 해서, 활발(活發)히 추진(推進)되어 오고 있으며 또한 국내(國內)에서도, 이를 적용(適用)한 처리장(處理場)이 점차 증가(增加)하고 있다. 본(本) 연구(硏究)는 고정생물막법(固定生物膜法)의 하나인 RBC(roating biological contactor; 회전생물막(回轉生物膜) 접촉체(接觸體))에 의(依)한 오수처리방법(汚水處理方法)을 실규모(實規模)의 pilot plant를 현장(現場)에 설치(設置), 5개월(個月) 간(間)의 운전(運轉)에 의(依)해 얻어진 결과(結果)를 분석(分析), 1984. 5. 16 환경청(環境廳)에서 고시(告示)(제(第)$84{\sim}8$호(號))한 오수정화시설중(汚水淨化施設中), 회전원판(回轉圓板) 접촉방법(接觸方法)에서 정(定)하는 설나기준(設羅基準)을 실제(實際) 처리장(處理場)에 어떻게 적용(適用)할 것인지에 대(對)한 검토(檢討)를 해보기 위(爲)해서였다. 회전판(回轉板)의 회전속도(回轉速度)와 체류시간(滯留時間)은 오수(汚水)의 BOD제거효율(除去效率)에 큰 상관관계(相關關係)를 가지며 회전판(回轉板)의 원주달도(圓周達度)가 $18{\sim}20m$/분(分)인 경우가 경제성(經濟性)이 있는 것으로 나타났으며 일반(一般) 가정하수(家庭下水)에 대(對)한 RBC조내(槽內)의 체류시간(滯留時間)은 120분(分)(2시(時) 간(間))정도(程度)에서도 BOD제거율(除去率)이 90% 이상(以上)이 됨을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 고농도(高濃度) 오빙(汚氷)(BOD $250{\sim}400mg/l$)인데 대(對)해서도 제거율(除去率) $85{\sim}90%$정도(程度)로 양호하였다.

  • 논토양(土壤)에 볏짚을 시용(施用)하고 투수조건하(透水條件下)에서 수도재배중(水稻栽培中), 토양중(土壤中) 질소고정(窒素固定)에 관여(關與)하는 미생물(微生物)의 소장(消長)과 질소고정능(窒素固定能)을 조사분석(調査分析)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. Azotobacter는 경시적(經時的)으로 약간 증가(增加)하고 볏짚시용(施用)으로 균수(菌數)가 낮아지는 경향(傾向)이었다. Clostridia 는 경시적(經時的)으로 크게 증감(增減)되지 않았다. Blue green algae는 출수기(出穗期)까지 증가(增加)하다 감소(減少)했으며 볏짚시용(施用)으로 균수(菌數)가 증가(增加)하는 경향(傾向)이다. 질소무황세균(窒素無黃細菌)은 재배기간중(栽培其間中) 거의 검출(檢出)되지 않았고 Yeast는 경시적(經時的)으로 약간 증가(增加)하는 경향(傾向)이었다. 질소고정미생물(窒素固定微生物)의 균수(菌數)가 증가(增加)되면 acetylene환원력(還元力)도 증대(增大)되었으며 수도재배기간중(水稻栽培其間中) 질소고정력(窒素固定力)은 0.2~0.4kg/10a이었다. 수도무재배구(水稻無栽培區)에서 질소(窒素)의 고정력(固定力)은 볏짚시용(施用)으로 약간 증가(增加)되었으나 투수(透水)의 효과(效果)는 뚜렷하지 않다.

Tool-Setup Monitoring of High Speed Precision Machining Tool

  • Recently the monitoring system of tool setting in high speed precision machining center is required for manufacturing products that have highly complex and small shape, high precision and high function. It is very important to reduce time to setup tool in order to improve the machining precision and the productivity and to protect the breakage of cutting tool as the shape of product is smaller and more complex. Generally, the combination of errors that geometrical clamping error of fixing tool at the spindle of machining tool and the asynchronized error of driving mechanism causes that the run-out of tool reaches to 3$^{\sim}$20 times of the thickness of cutting chip. And also the run-out is occurred by the misalignment between axis of tool shank and axis of spindle and spindle bearing in high speed rotation. Generally, high speed machining is considered when the rotating speed is more than 8,000 rpm. At that time, the life time of tool is reduced to about 50% and the roughness of machining surface is worse as the run-out is increased to 10 micron. The life time of tool could be increased by making monitoring of tool-setup easy, quick and precise in high speed machining tool. This means the consumption of tool is much more reduced. And also it reduces the manufacturing cost and increases the productivity by reducing the tool-setup time of operator. In this study, in order to establish the concept of tool-setup monitoring the measuring method of the geometrical error of tool system is studied when the spindle is stopped. And also the measuring method of run-out, dynamic error of tool system, is studied when the spindle is rotated in 8,000${\sim}$60,000 rpm. The dynamic phenomena of tool-setup are analyzed by implementing the monitoring system of rotating tool system and the non-contact measuring system of micro displacement in high speed.

L2C AGPS 수신기의 신호 획득 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Signal Acquisition in L2C Assisted GPS Receivers)

  • The GPS new civil signal is modulated on the L2 carrier at a frequency of 1227.6MHz. The L2C signal is composed of two multiplexed code signals, which include CM code with a 10,230 chip sequency repeating every 20ms, and CL code which has a 767,250 chip sequency repeating every 1.5 seconds. Thus, the new civil signal have much improved cross correlation properties so that the position fixing can be possible even with very weak signals. However, it requires very long acquisition time because of its long code length. This paper presents an efficient signal acquisition method for L2C AGPS receiver. Snapshot mode and coarse time assistance are assumed and total integration time is given by 1.5 sec. By SNR worksheet and computer simulation, it is proven that L2C signal can be acquired with very weak power less than -150dBm. Considering the acquisition time and the sensitivity, it is recommended that the highest power signal is acquired with CM code first to reduce TTFF. By the timing synchronization, at this time, search space of the code phase for other signals can be greatly reduced so that CL code can be used in signal acquisition to maximize sensitivity with small computation.

  • 최근 사물인터넷과 관련된 연구와 산업이 급속히 발전하고 있다. 사물인터넷과 관련된 소프트웨어 개발 및 유지보수 활동에서 버그 정정은 큰 비중을 차지하는 활동이다. 본 논문에서는 사물인터넷과 관련된 버그를 정정하는데 소요되는 시간을 분석함으로써 버그 정정 시간에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 속성이 무엇인지 분석한다. 버그 리포트가 제공하는 속성 정보에 따라 k-NN 분류 방법을 사용하여 버그 리포트를 분류하고 유사한 속성을 가진 버그 리포트를 선별한다. 유사한 버그 리포트의 버그 정정 시간을 계산하여 새로운 버그의 정정 시간을 예측한다. 예측 정확도에 따라 버그 정정 시간에 영향을 미치는 속성 중 운영체제(os), 컴포넌트, 리포터, 할당자(assignee) 속성을 사용했을 때 버그 정정 시간 예측에 가장 좋은 정확도를 나타냈다.

CCD 카메라를 이용한 열화상 실시간 추정과 화재경보 (Thermal Image Real-time estimation and Fire Alarm by using a CCD Camera)

  • 본 논문은 Charge-Coupled Device (CCD) 카메라를 이용한 열화상의 실시간 추정과 화재경보에 대하여 논한 것으로 각도 및 위치에 따른 특징점 분석과 동일 형상의 벡터 성분 좌표점 설정에 따른 이미지 융합이 잘 되었다. 영상을 Display하는 픽셀의 데이터 값은 0~255, 센서 출력값은 0~5,000로 하여 정확성이 높았다. 시험결과 시험체로부터 500 m, 1000 m, 1500 m 거리에서 화염에 의한 시험체의 작동시간은 각각 7초, 26초, 62초 소요 되었고 화면이미지 생성이 효과적으로 이루어졌다. 화재 발생 진단은 주의/경보/화재의 3단계로 프로그램하여 Alarm의 순차적 동작과 SNS 전송이 이루어졌다. 비화재보시험을 위해 백열등, 형광등에 대해 시험하였으나 모두 비화재보를 발생하지 않았다. 시간대별 화염의 변화영상과 진행방향 및 확산속도의 분석은 화재진행상황 예측이나 열화상 실시간 추정과 경보로 비화재보 감소가 가능함을 확인하였다.

Federated Filter Approach for GNSS Network Processing

  • A large number of service providers in countries all over the world have established GNSS reference station networks in the last years and are using network software today to provide a correction stream to the user as a routine service. In current GNSS network processing, all the geometric related information such as ionospheric free carrier phase ambiguities from all stations and satellites, tropospheric effects, orbit errors, receiver and satellite clock errors are estimated in one centralized Kalman filter. Although this approach provides an optimal solution to the estimation problem, however, the processing time increases cubically with the number of reference stations in the network. Until now one single Personal Computer with Pentium 3.06 GHz CPU can only process data from a network consisting of no more than 50 stations in real time. In order to process data for larger networks in real time and to lower the computational load, a federated filter approach can be considered. The main benefit of this approach is that each local filter runs with reduced number of states and the computation time for the whole system increases only linearly with the number of local sensors, thus significantly reduces the computational load compared to the centralized filter approach. This paper presents the technical aspect and performance analysis of the federated filter approach. Test results show that for a network of 100 reference stations, with the centralized approach, the network processing including ionospheric modeling and network ambiguity fixing needs approximately 60 hours to process 24 hours network data in a 3.06 GHz computer, which means it is impossible to run this network in real time. With the federated filter approach, only less than 1 hour is needed, 66 times faster than the centralized filter approach. The availability and reliability of network processing remain at the same high level.

Muscle Functional MRI of Exercise-Induced Rotator Cuff Muscles

  • The aim of this study was to provide a new assessment of rotator cuff muscle activity. Eight male subjects (24.7 ± 3.2 years old,171.2 ± 9.8 cm tall, and weighing 63.8 ± 11.9 kg) performed the study exercises. The subjects performed 10 sets of the exercise while fixing the elbow at 90 degrees flexure and lying supine on a bed. One exercise set consisted of the subject performing external shoulder rotation 50 times using training equipment. Two imaging protocols were employed: (a) true fast imaging with steady precession (TrueFISP) at an acquisition time of 12 seconds and (b) multi-shot spin-echo echo-planar imaging (MSSE-EPI) at an acquisition time of 30 seconds for one echo. The main method of assessing rotator cuff muscle activity was functional T2 mapping using ultrafast imaging (fast-acquired muscle functional MRI [fast-mfMRI]). Fast-mfMRI enabled real-time imaging for the identification and evaluation of the degree of muscle activity induced by the exercise. Regions of interest were set at several places in the musculus subscapularis (sub), musculus supraspinatus (sup), musculus teres minor (ter), and deltoid muscle (del). We used the MR signal of the images and transverse relaxation time (T2) for comparison. Most of the TrueFISP signal was not changed by exercise and there was no significant difference from the resting values. Only the T2 in the musculus teres minor was increased after one set and the change were seen on the T2 images. Additionally, except for those after one and two sets, the changes in T2 were significant compared to those at rest (P < 0.01). We also demonstrated identify and visualize the extent to which muscles involved in muscle activity by exercise. In addition, we showed that muscle activity in a region such as a shoulder, which is susceptible to B0 inhomogeneity, could be easily detected using this technique.
