  • Composite hollow insulator consist of an insulating tube bearing the mechanical load protected by an elastomer housing the loads being transmitted to the tube by metal fittings. The core processes are comprised briefly and the electrical and mechanical performance were examined according to the IEC standards. In this study, we have manufactured the composite hollow insulator, and carry out the insulator and busing type test according to the IEC standards. Comprehensive approach followed by the test results would give feasible hollow composite insulator compliable to the IEC standards.

  • 본 논문에서는 500kV급 composite bushing에 사용되는 FRP tube 및 금구류에 대하여 풍하중에 대한 강도안전성을 평가하였다. 제품의 평가는 유한요소법을 이용한 구조해석을 진행하였으며, 해석 결과 풍하중에 대하여 충분한 강도 안전성 및 안전율을 가지고 제품이 설계된 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제시한 결과를 바탕으로 composite bushing은 강도안전성 측면에서 신뢰성 있는 제품으로 개발이 이루어지고 있음을 확인할 수 있으며, 향후 유한요소법을 이용한 해석을 통해 제품 개발 기간의 단축과 소비자에게 보다 향상된 품질을 보증하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Dry Separation of PVC Film from Plastic Film Mixture by Using Air Table

  • This study was conducted in order to remove Poly vinyl chloride(PVC) from the waste plastic film mixture. The fittings of Air Table was modified to increase the separation efficiency of PVC and PE(poly ethylene). PE and PVC was successfully separated from PVC-PE film mixture with the yield of PE 90% or more and with his grade of 99% or more, using the improved Air Table.   • This paper is concerned with the family of parts that generally feature a central hub with radial protrusions. Typical parts that fall into this category include cross Pieces for universal joints, tube fittings, and differential gears. As opposed to conventional forward and backward extrusion, in which the material flows in a direction parallel to that of the punch or die motion, the material flows perpendicular to the punch motion in radial extrusion. In this study, the forming characteristics of radial extrusion will be considered by comparing the forces, shapes etc. The design factors during radial extrusion are investigated by the rigid-plastic FEM simulation.

  • A sectional analysis of sheet metal forming process with an arbitrary tool shape is proposed in the present work. To improve the numerical convergence in the conventional membrane sectional analysis, the Bending Energy Augmented Membrane (BEAM) elements had been developed. The BEAM elements particularly improve the stability and convergence of the finite element method for the case of deep drawing. In this work, the FERGUBON spline (C$^2$-continuous) was used to fit the deformed mesh to smooth the given curves and calculate the local curvature of the deformed sheet. The fittings of the deformed sheet and tool surface profile ensure the stability and the convergence of the finite element analysis of highly nonlinear stamping processes. A center floor section and front fender section are analyzed to show the accuracy and robustness of the approach. The results obtained by the proposed approach are compared with the available experimental data.

  • A new model and resultant equation for the coagulation of acrylonitrile monomers in precipitation polymerization are suggested in consideration of the surface tension (${\gamma}$) and cohesive energy density ($E_{CED}$). The equation was proven to be quite favorable by considering figure fittings from known surface tensions and cohesive energy densities of certain organic solvents. The relationship between scale value of surface tension (${\gamma}$/M) and cohesive energy density of monomers can be obtained by changing the coagulation bath component for effective precipitation polymerization of acrylonitrile in wet spinning.

  • This paper proposes a new harmonic elimination PWM (HEPWM) scheme for voltage source inverters (VSI) based on the curve fittings of certain polynomials functions. The resulting equations to calculate the switching angle of the HEPWM require only the addition and multiplication processes; therefore any number of harmonics to be eliminated and the fundamental amplitude of the pole switching waveform (NP1) can be controlled on-line. An extensive angle error analysis is carried out to determine the accuracy of the algorithm in comparison to the exact solution. To verify the workability of the technique, an experimental single phase VSI is constructed. The algorithm is implemented on a VSI using a 16-bit microprocessor. The results obtained from the test rig are compared to the theoretical prediction and the results of the MATLAB simulations.

  • This study discusses the traditional main life culture of Korea and the relations with the traditional manners of Korean culture. According to studies of literature and an analysis, it shows the traditional courtesy can be linked to the housing structure of the Cho-sun dynasty which can be termed as a representation of traditional Korean society. Housing culture of Cho-sun dynasty led to a most characteristic living culture. To be specific sit-down culture use norms, hierarchy and fittings can be sited. The sit-down culture in turn led to the main courtesies of greeting, table manners, etiquette for entrance and exit, the carefulness shown to elders, the self-restraint of speech and action and the manners between men and women, But in today's world there are realistic difficulties that make the application of these norms in everyday life difficult. But at the same time we must realize that there are traditional norms which overcome time and which affect today's norms.

  • The cruise industry is one of the world's fastest growing device industry which is structural construction coasts are expensive. Cruise out-fittings are thirty times compare with general large vessels. According to the characteristics of materials or equipments, most equipments are imported from europe. At present domestic shipbuilding industries and minor enterprises have a hard times therefore enhancing technology for the cruise industry could be infused vitality on the industries. If domestic small and midium industries have high technology for the cruise ship, domestic small and midium industries can have global competitiveness compare with european equipment suppliers which has small-scale and high technology. Therefore on this study, cruise ship's new equipment development and a study for the performance assessment and classification type approval certificate was carried out.

  • This study was carried out to establish an analytical method on the open circuit seawater pipeline network for open rack vaporizers(ORVs). The linear theory method was chosen to solve this network system. In particular, the method was modified to calculate the static pressure at each node and to determine the operating condition of each pump with the mean static pressure of pumps and ORVs. The proposed method is the first report demonstrating that can be used as a solver for the complicated open circuit. Also, the method indicated the importance for exactly calculating equivalent length of pipes including valves, bends, fittings, and others to raise the accuracy. Although this technique is good for solving this system, it is still required to improve the convergence rate.
