우리나라 긴급구조$\cdot$구급체계의 문제점과 개선방안 (The Problems of the Emergency Rescue and First-aid and the Plan of Improvement in Korea)

  • 각종 재난으로부터 국민의 생명과 재산을 신속하고 정확하게 구조$\cdot$구급하는 것은 국가의 당연한 책무이다. 소방방재청의 출범으로 재난으로부터 국민의 생명과 재산 보호를 최우선하는 국가 정책이 실현될 수 있는 기틀이 마련되었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 아직 만족할 만한 재난대비가 이루어졌다고 볼 수 없다. 각종 재난이 발생할 때마다 대응체계의 문제점이 항상 지적되어 왔다. 특히 위난시 긴급구조와 구급의 체계는 아직 선진국 수준에 도달하려면 많이 부족하다. 재난과 관련한 대응에서는 예방과 대비가 무엇보다도 중요한 일이다. 그러나 현재의 재난은 특별한 예고 없이 발생하는 것이 특성이니 만큼 발생이후 신속한 구조와 구급 대비체계를 확립하는 것 또한 매우 중요한 일이다. 먼저 긴급구조$\cdot$ 구급과 관련한 법령의 과감한 통$\cdot$폐합을 통하여 구조$\cdot$구급체계를 일원화할 수 있는 제도적 기틀이 마련되어야 한다. 이를 통하여 구조 구급체계의 전문화와 현장대응능력을 강화하여야 한다. 또한 실제로 긴급구조와 구급을 담당하는 119구조$\cdot$구급대의 인적$\cdot$물적 장비의 보강을 통하여 구조$\cdot$구급의 능력을 향상시켜야 한다

다양한 화상 응급처치의 치료효과 비교 (Comparison of Clinical Outcomes Using Various First-Aid Cooling Method for Burn)

  • Purpose: Currently, the most recommended method for burn first aid is the cool running water for 20 minutes (CRW20). If CRW20 is not practicable, cooling dressing products with tea tree oil are used as substitutes. In this study, we analyze the effect of various burn first aids, including CRW20, cooling products, on the treatment period. Methods: This study was conducted on patients who suffered burns and visited Hangangsoo Hospital from March 2019 to March 2020. The study conducted in a retrospective method. The duration of treatment was analyzed by dividing the experimental group. Results: The treatment period was shortened when first aid was given (P<0.001). Cold water, ice, and ice packs resulted in reduced treatment periods (P<0.001, P=0.004). The treatment period was reduced when cooling dressing products were used in all groups (P=0.041). The implementation of first aid has reduced the duration of burn treatment. This means that cooling helps burn treatment. CRW20 did not show statistically meaningful results. This is the result of a failure to fully control the temperature and time of tap water. In addition, the change in temperature of tap water according to season, the use of water is higher than that of animal testing, and the general lack of information on proper burn first aid may have affected. Conclusion: The treatment period was statistically significantly reduced in the group that performed first aid. Among the various first aid methods, cold water and ice reduced the treatment period.

외상 응급처치 교육 프로그램의 개발 및 효과 -영유아 및 학령전 아동의 어머니를 대상으로- (Development of A First-aid Education Program and Its Effectiveness -A Care of Mothers of infant, toddler and preschool children-)

  • The researcher has studied the types of accidents and injuries that most often occur to infants, toddlers and preschool children. Using this knowledge, a first aid program was developed for mothers. This researcher used a Quasi experimental study which consisted of a nonequivalent control group pretest - posttest design for injury first-aid knowle. The experimental group consisted of 32 mothers, and the control group consisted of 29. The education program consisted of the types of injury, the structure and function of skin, the methods of obsevation, first-aid awareness, and the standard of professional support in case of contusion, abrasion, laceration, fracture and burn. The education program was developed and based on 'the systemetic design of instruction' by Dick & Carey(1996) and utilized multimedia text book, pictures, examples, practice and discussions to increase understanding and effectiveness of learning. The data for this study was collected from September to early November, 2001. There were two fomative evauations, pretest and posttest with an intervention of education program. The analysis of the collected data was analyzed by descriptive analysis, ANOVA, t-test and paired t-test using the SPSS 10.0 program. The results as follows; 1. The experimental group, who was given an education program before the test, got higher marks on the injury first-aid knowledge than the control group. There was a significant difference in knowledge between experimental group and control group(t=6.578, p=.000). 2. The experimental group got higher marks on the action evaluation than the control group. There were significant differences in the certainity of action (t=8.546, p=.000) and the accuracy of action (t=7.654, p=.000) between experimental group and control group. This study examined how a first aid education program increased effectiveness in the knowledge and action of injury first-aid.

일부 군인들의 치아외상에 대한 태도와 응급처치 교육필요성과의 관련성 (Relation of necessity of the first aid education and attitude about traumatic dental injuries in some military men)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the traumatic injuries by first aid education and mouth protector in some military men. Methods : Among 195 military men, a total of 164 military men filled out the self-administered questionnaire and the return rate was 84.1%. The data were evaluated statistically using chi-square analysis. Results : 81.5% of respondents agreed that first aid education is necessary and 48.2% of respondents agreed that mouth protector of is necessary. In managing tooth fracture, subluxation, and avulsion, the military men answered the necessity of the first aid education revealed 87.2%, 86.8%, and 91.5%, respectively. The questions in managing tooth fracture, subluxation showed that mouth protector is necessary 56.3%, 49.0% respectively. In managing tooth fracture with reattachment, the necessity of the first aid education showed 88.9%. Conclusions : In order to get the knowledge about emergency treatment of traumatic injuries in military men, it is necessary to develop the professional education program for the dental hygiene personnel.

장애아 전담 보육시설에서 보육교사의 응급처치교육에 대한 실태조사 (A Study on Actual Conditions of the First-Aid Education for Child-care Teachers at Daycare Center for the Disabled Children)

  • Purpose : This study was conducted to examine the degree of recognition of safety education and its execution for child-care teachers at daycare center for the disabled children in Jeollanam-do. Ninety six child care teachers filled out the questionnaire and the results were as follows. Results : 1. The possibility of accident prevention by the day care teachers was a little higher in case of nearby education institution. The most appropriate period of safety education was within one month. 2. Majority of child care teachers had received safety and first-aid educations before and the education was done for less than 2 hours. 3. The best educational method was practice-centered education of off-duty time. The contents of first-aid education were bleeding, fall, shock, and burn. 4. The education material and book should be available to the teachers when they need the knowledge. 5. By the annual schedule, safety education should be conducted and provided to the parents. Conclusion : This study suggested that reinforcement of contents related to emergency situation and actual first-aid as well as theory education in the process of parent and teacher education should be conducted on the basis of information of general conditions related to safety and first-aid education at the daycare center for the disabled children.

경련 발작에 대한 초.중.고교 응급처치교육 모듈 평가 (Evaluation of First aid educational module on convulsion and seizure for students)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of first aid education module on convulsion and seizure for students in elementary, middle and high school. Methods : This study has implemented to 2 types of test groups and control group in each 3rd and 5th grade of elemenary school, 2nd grade of middle school and high school within target school. The data were collected through a self-reported questionnaire to before, after and one month after education from July, 11 to September 4, 2007. Results : The test group who received first aid education possessed greater knowledge about convulsion and seizure relative to the control group not received education. The overall students has satisfied and been understood well with this module. The educators agreed to the practical aspects of this module in school setting. Conclusion : The above results implicated the importance of a continuous and systematic first aid education program among students. For effective first aid education, there needs a development of targeted educational materials for each grade student and training programs for educators.

대학생의 응급처치 지식수준 실태 조사 (Actual Survey of College Students' Knowledge of First Aid)

  • This study tries to examine the level of safety consciousness and first aid knowledge of 124 college students who attend non-public health departments in Gwangju from April 1 to 30, 2003 and apply the results of the study to curriculum. The results of this study are as follows; 1. On experiences of need of first-aid, 87.5% of respondents said 'yes' and there was a significant difference in the number of their siblings($x^2$ = 7.482, p = .048). 2. Sources of education of first aid were mostly at school(46.8%), no education(23.4%), through mass communication(22.6%) and by themselves(7.3%). There were significant differences by characteristics in sex($x^2$ = 30.230, p = .000), year($x^2$ = 10.821, p = .013) and mother's education($x^2$ = 18.932, p = .025). 3. Sources of information of first aid were mostly through TV(46.8%), followed by others (42.7%), newspapers(7.3%) and magazines(3.2%). 4. On the opinions of the most suitable period for educating first aid, elementary school was highest(41.9%), followed by kindergarten(29.0%), middle school(21.0%) and high school (8.1%) and there were significant difference by characteristics of subjects in sex($x^2$=9.689, p= .021) and year($x^2$=19.661, p= .000). 5. Score of knowledge level of safety consciousness was mean $71.58{\pm}12.05$ based on Likert 5-point scale with a full mark of 100 points and there was a significance only in current residence of subjects' general characteristics(F or t=3.894, p=.023). 6. Score of knowledge level of first aid was mean $62.73{\pm}13.29$ based on Likert 3-point scale with a full mark of 90 points and there was a significance only in residential type of subjects' general characteristics(F or t=3.058, p= .031). Although college students felt needs of first aid more than middle and high school students, it was found that their actual safety consciousness and knowledge level of first aid were low. Therefore, knowledge and ability should be developed to save human life from all kinds of emergencies and safety accident and first aid subjects should be separated in college curriculum and opportunity for actual education should be given.

저혈당환자 이송 시 구급대원의 응급처치 현황분석 - 전남대학교병원 응급의료센터를 중심으로 - (Analysis of current status of emergency careby first aid staffs during transfer of patients with hypoglycemia - Focused on the Emergency Center of Chonnam National University Hospital -)

  • Glucose is the most importantenergy source in the central nervous system. Because the central nervous system cannot synthesize or store glucose. low blood glucose even for a short period results in no functionally normal activity of the brain. In addition, continuous low blood glucosecan cause irreversible brain damage and brain death. Therefore, the current status of emergency care by first aid staffs during transfer of patients with hypoglycemia has been investigated in this study, 114 patients who have visited the hospital using 119 Emergency Medical Service from January 1, 2004 till December, 2004 and shown blood glucose of 2.8 mmol/L and less on arrival have been involved. In case of nurses, assistant nurses, first aid staffs receiving first aid training and second-class emergency medical technicians(EMTs), they provided basic life support (BLS). In case of first-class EMTs, they measured blood sugar and then they orally administered glucose to conscious patients or provided simple first aids and prompt transfer for unconscious patients. As a result of analysis, it is suggested that first aid retraining is required.

초등학생의 응급처치 교육에 대한 인식 (Cognition about First Aid Education in Elementary School Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide basic data to develop first aid education programs for elementary school students. Method: A self-report questionnaire was used to collect data from 720 5th and 6th grade elementary school students. Results: 1) The mean score for cognition of first aid education of the students was high with a score of 2.64 $({\pm}.30)$. 2) The mean scores for the 11 categories were, "Fire & Burns", 2.78 $({\pm}.40)$, "Poisoning", 2.77 $({\pm}.47)$, "Thermal injuries", 2.75 $({\pm}.51)$, "Rescue & moving", 2.73 $({\pm}.37)$, "Bites", 2.72 $({\pm}.44)$, "General first aid", 2.64 $({\pm}.37)$, "Wounds", 2.59 $({\pm}.39)$, "Removing foreign bodies", 2.58 $({\pm}.46)$, "Cardiopulmonary resuscitation", 2.57 $({\pm}.59)$, and "Musculoskeletal injuries" and "Others", 2.54 $({\pm}.51,\;{\pm}.53)$. 3) There was a significant difference in the cognition of first aid education according to student's gender (t=-3.012, p=.003), and judgement about the emergency situation (F=3.411, p=.034). Conclusion: The results indicate the necessity of developing effective first aid education programs for elementary school students.

고등학생의 안전의식, 재난안전교육 및 응급처치 지식 (Safety Awareness of High School Students, Disaster Safety Education and First Aid Knowledge)

  • 본 연구는 고등학생의 안전의식과 재난안전교육 및 응급처치 지식 정도를 알아보고 안전의식과 응급처치 지식간의 관계를 파악하기 위함이다. 대상자는 G시 인문계 고등학교 3학년에 재학 중인 남학생 293명으로 2018년 3월 19일부터 3월 28일까지 자료수집 후 SPSS 21.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 응급처치 지식 정답률은 40.15%였으며, 안전의식과 응급처치지식의 하위영역의 관련성에서 응급상황 시 행동요령(r=-.131, p=.025), 호흡계와 순환계(r=.213, p<.001), 드레싱과 붕대(r=.156, p=.008)와 관련성이 있었다. 본 연구는 안전사고에 대응할 수 있는 역량을 배양하기 위한 교육과정 구성의 기초자료로 활용하는데 기여하였으며, 응급처치지식 수준 향상과 다양한 상황에 따른 대처능력을 높이기 위해서 교육프로그램 개발 및 평가가 요구된다.
