As most companies in the world are much interested in the overseas market as well as in the domestic market, many Korean food service enterprises came to focus on extending their branches to the overseas market. However, lack of business strategies including market research, marketing strategies, localization, etc. has made them continue to fail in market entry. The purpose of this study is to develop entry mode of determinants of Korean food service enterprises, considering their characteristic factors and environment factors in the overseas market. To do this, companies which have a head quarter in Korea and over 2 year business experience in the overseas market were chosen and used for a self-administered questionnaire survey. Statistical processing, including descriptive statistics, logistic regressing analysis, and multi regression analysis using an SPSS/PC 12.0 statistical package were conducted The result is as follows. First, explanation suitability was 85% of the entry mode in the overseas market. Second, as business size was smaller, product differentiation was higher, and CEO's will for success in the overseas market was higher, independent entry mode in the overseas market was likely to he chosen. Lastly, as the uncertainty of demand and trade barrier were lower, and a sociocultural gap was smaller, independent entry mode in the overseas market was likely to be chosen.
Background: Laryngeal papillomatosis, which is cased by human papillomavirus, is the most common benign neoplasm of the larynx. However, the prognosis of this disease remains really unpredictable. The aim of this paper is to determine whether any clinical features at the time of diagnosis could predict its course. Material and Method: Eighty-six patients treated at our institution during the last 20 years were analyzed retrospectively. All patients had microsurgery under general anesthesia. All patients' follow-up period was more than 1 year. We divided the patients into 1) Juvenile versus adult group based on their age 20, 2) single surgical method with laser versus dual surgical method with laser and microdebrider group, and 3) single subsite versus multiple subsites group. And we compared the therapeutic outcome. Results: The recurrence rate was 100% (15 patients) in the JP group and 56% (40 patients) in the AP group. Juvenile versus adult group was the only independent prognostic factor by univariate, and multivariate analysis. Microdebrider resection technique and multiple subsites were not associated with treatment result. Time period from the first surgery to recurrence detection was different statistically only for the age group. The number of surgery in the JP group ranged from 1 to 31 (mean 8.8). In the AP group the number of surgery ranged from 1 to 25 (mean 3.7). It was statistically different. Conclusion: Prognosis for the laryngeal papillomatosis remains unpredictable. Only patients' age was the only independent prognostic factor.
This study analyzed the oral status after recording the images by using QLF-D with targets of 38 youth people with hearing impairment and hearing language impairment. In order to investigate the state of oral hygiene, plaque index (O'Leary index) and contents of investigation of the state of the teeth included the number of sound teeth, the number of caries teeth, dental caries experience and the number of filling teeth. The following results were obtained. First, women lacked the management on plaque and had more caries teeth compared with men. In terms of impairment classification, subjects with both hearing and language impairment lacked the management on plaque and had more caries teeth. Second, subjects who did not get an oral exam for one year had more caries teeth. Oral hygiene score was the highest with the brushing time for 3-4 minutes. The number of sound teeth was increased as the brushing time was increased. In addition, the oral hygiene management time was the highest when cleaning the teeth, gums and tongue at the same time. Third, it was shown that the satisfaction of oral health education by using the new equipment was high. As a result of this study, in order to improve the oral health level of impaired students, they shall be trained to manage their teeth by themselves and educated to increase their motivation and practice. Thus, it is thought that various approaches which are differentiated from existing methods are required to be tried.

Re-coating of the mirror is one of the important things to maintain the performance of a telescope. The metal coated on the mirror reflects light, and if the reflectance decreases, then the telescope's performance decreases, so the mirror must be periodically recoated. It is important to predict re-coating cycles for military telescopes and to develop maintenance plans not only for performance, but also for the telescope's availability for missions and the maintenance costs for long-term use. However, most similar telescopes used for astronomy research determine recoating cycles based on experience and operating conditions, and not for prediction of recoating. Therefore, this study predicts the cleaning cycles and re-coating cycles of a military telescope's mirror by using simulation. First, this study analyzed similar cases of domestic and foreign astronomy research institutes and the study also reviewed the need for re-coating and predicting re-coating cycles. Second, this study developed simulation for predicting cleaning and re-coating cycles according to data analysis and modeling. Finally, the study predicts cleaning cycles and re-coating cycles according to varying reflectance reduction (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%) and cleaning conditions (per 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and 2 years). As a result, this study suggests reference criteria to develop the planning for military telescopes and their maintenance.
As globalization, international cooperation has grown in importance. In accordance with this trend, Korea has been receiving high demands from international organizations about expanding the scale of Official Development Assistance(ODA) in line with its improved national status. In addition, in the economic aspect of Korea, the ODA project is expected to provide new growth opportunities in the mid- to long-term by promoting cooperation with developing countries. Uganda is an area with high strategic value due to good agricultural conditions and favorable geographical conditions. The poultry industry is a business that is generally carried out to the Ugandan, but due to economic problems such as initial investment cost, most of them have raised poultry on a small scale which is not enough for main income. This paper proposes the construction and operation plan of adapting to small poultry farms in the village-intensive type to sustainable income for residents in Uganda through ODA project in Korea's agricultural technology. The economic feasibility was analyzed from the long-term perspective when the initial construction cost was supported or not and the poultry species ratio was adjusted in terms of initial and operating costs. Economic analysis was performed using Net Present Value(NPV) method. As of after 10 years, when operating in the form of shifting kuroiler to layers, it was estimated to earn about 700,000 ugx more than when only kuroiler is raised, and it is able to reduce about 14 million ugx from the initial cost than when only raising layers. As of 20 years, the most profitables scenario was the breeding of 100 kuroilers and 400 layers methods. however, this case was anlayzed to be unsuitable for Uganda farmers, with initial costs more than three times higher than the shifting method of the kuroiler to layers. If the initial construction cost is supported by ODA project, the initial investment cost can be recovered in the first year with the shifting method, whereas raising only layers take two years to recoup the cost. In the meantime, when studying livestock industry in Uganda, it was examined by relying on statistical data, but this paper is meaningful in that it predicted how much it is economically effective based on field experience.

Colorectal cancer is the second most frequent malignant tumor in the United States and fourth most frequent tumor in Korea. Surgery has been used as a primary treatment modality but reported overall survivals after curative resection were from $20\%\;to\;50\%$. Local recurrence is the most common failure in the treatment of locally advanced colorectal cancer. Once recurrence has developed, surgery has rarely the role and the five year survival of locally advanced rectal cancer is less than $5\%$, in spite of massive combination therapy. Intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT) with or without external beam irradiation has been advocated for reducing local recurrence and improving survival. The recent report of local failure by this modality was only $5\%$, this indicated that significant improvement of local control could be achieved. We performed 6 cases of IORT for locally advanced colorectal cancer which is the first experience in Korea. Patient's eligibility, treatment applicator, electron energy, dose distribution on the surface and depth within the treatment field and detailed skills are discussed. We hope that our IORT protocol can reduce local failure and increase the long term survival significantly.

The purpose of this study was to conduct a survey of general status of drinking culture among college students in Korea. Three hundred college students answered the self-administered questionnaire from May 6 to May 10 in 2009. The questionnaire consisted of drinking-related behavior by gender, recognition and need for moderation in drinking program, and the reason for stopping drinking by gender. The statistical method was done by SPSS WIN version 14.0. The first drinking time was high school comprising 41.0% of the respondents. The reason for drinking was to get the personal relationship. The experience of blackout was 50.3% in twice a year and 26.0% in twice per six months. The reasons for stopping drinking were health problem(36.9%), personal relationship(34.5%), and financial difficulty(20.8%). These results will make it possible to establish the right drinking habit, prevention of sexual violence and vehicle accident and health promotion of the students.
The purposes of this study were to a) measure the IC identified of CFMC (contract foodservice management company) ,b) examine IC circumstance of CFMC, c) evaluate practically IC measurement tool of CFMC, and d) present information for selecting an adequate CFMC to clients. The questionnaires of IC measurement were handed out to 108 CFMCs, there composing of main office employees, foodservice managers, customers, and clients of 207 school,38 hospital, and 86 husiness/industry foodservices. The statistical data analysis was completed using SPSS Win (ver 12.0) for descriptive analysis, t-test, Mann-Whitney U test. First, CFMCs had operational experience for an average of 8 years and 8 months, and served an average of 38,540 meals a day. Most of the respondent companies specialized in the school foodservice field and managed an average of 66 clients for the contract period of 2 years and 3 months. Second, the respondent companies had gotten a score of 77.78 points for the total average, 77.7 points in the large enterprise group and 78.1 points in the small and medium-sized enterprise group. Therefore, the minimum number of points for the accrediting license on Qualification is suggested to be over 70 out of a 100 point scale; this study would be serve as reference for the certification license on qualification. On the level of evaluation category, the scores were 14.15 to 20 points on $\ulcorner$finance$\urcorner$, 19.24 to 25 points on $\ulcorner$customer$\urcorner$, 19.33 to 25 points on $\ulcorner$process$\urcorner$, 14.31 to 20 points on $\ulcorner$human resource$\urcorner$, and 8.6 to 10 point on $\ulcorner$renewal and development$\urcorner$ . $\ulcorner$Renewal and development$\urcorner$ and $\ulcorner$customer focus$\urcorner$ received better grades than other evaluation categories. Third, $\ulcorner$Finance$\urcorner$ indicated similar distribution overall. Small and medium-sized companies had lower grades than large companies on 'market ability' of $\ulcorner$customer$\urcorner$ , but, clients of small and medium-sized companies had higher grade for 'client satisfaction' than large companies. Most of the companies supported 'infrastructure support for foodservice operation' of $\ulcorner$process$\urcorner$ by the main office of CFMCs, but, the branch chain offices of CFMCs were not applied efficiently. Large companies made more effort to improve the 'employee ability' of $\ulcorner$human focus$\urcorner$ than small and medium-sized CFMC. The 'research and development cost' of $\ulcorner$renewal and development$\urcorner$ was increased compared to the previous year. In conclusion, if CFMCs were to perform self-evaluation and a routine checkups by utilizing CFMC's IC measuring tool, improvements in CFMC operational capacities as well as foodservice quality can be noted. This study is intended to look into the effects of children's forest math game activities on their understanding of number and space concept. To achieve this, an evaluation was carried out to 20 4-year-old children in each group - experimental group and control group - by an evaluation sheet after forest math game activities during a total of 16 sessions 4 times a week for 4 weeks. The findings are as follows. First, children's forest math game activities had an effect on their understanding of number and space concept. Second, the difference between experimental group and control group showed that the experimental group received higher evaluation in the classifying and order finding items than the control group. It was confirmed that classifying and order finding in the forest math game were factors to help children's mathematical problem-understanding abilities. This implies that their forest math game activities have a positive effect on their mathematical problem-understanding abilities. Consequently, active forest math game activities for children are needed to help them understand the concept of number in the process of classifying task objects and solving tasks in order.
