The aim of this paper is to review the current knowledge management (KM) practices and their importance in the public sector of Saudi Arabia. Using the term "knowledge management in public sector", a search for available works was done in Google Scholar. In the first stage, the search for literature published under anytime choice was done in the first 10 pages of the search engine. Then another nine pages of Goggle Scholar were searched for more recent works published setting the time as 2014 to 2018. The search yielded 37 usable works for this review. The results of this literature search and review indicated that out of the 37 works reviewed, only three works were related to Saudi Arabia. Number of papers on factors of KM were maximum, many of them giving diagrammatic presentation of their results. KM modelling itself is not easy as only very few papers on KM modelling were available. Problems of too much reliance on qualitative data and hypotheses not matching with the literature backgrounds for them were also found. Considering the works related to KM, the number of papers in various categories may indicate the dimensions of KM to be considered when KM is implemented or evaluated in any public sector of any country. This applies to Saudi Arabian public sector organizations also. There is a fertile ground of research waiting to be investigated by researchers in Saudi Arabia.

The present study explored studies directed at elucidating the effectiveness of Korean medicine in the treatment of sterility and systematically analyzed the trends of studies on sterility. The standardization and objectification based on results for this study may contribute to the development of effective Korean medicine in reducing sterility. In the annual tendency of sterility-related clinical studies, the number of papers began to increase rapidly from 2000, and 15 papers were published from 2000 till 2011. Then, in the technical journals publishing them, The Journal of Oriental Obstetrics & Gynecology published 13 the most papers. In the institutions to which the first authors belonged, Dongguk University Hospital had 5 the most papers. In the number of test subjects was also analyzed and as the result the studies with 1~9 were the most as 10. In the study design analysis, there were 10 case reports, 5 case series and 4 before and after studies. In the analysis of intervention methods, there were 10 papers where only the Korean medicines were given, next 6 papers where the acupuncture and moxibustion were added, and 3 papers where the Korean medical therapies and other subsidiary therapies were used. In the analysis on the existence of pattern identification, there were 12 papers with the pattern identification, 6 without the pattern identification and 1 with the four constitution identification. In the IRB approval, 18 or most papers had not received the IRB approval and just 1 paper got the IRB approval. When the sterility-related clinical studies published in the Korean medical journals were surveyed, it turned out that there are no RCT studies and there is just one study with the IRB approval. And there were 6 papers without the pattern identification of Korean medicine. So, it seems necessary in the future to improve the papers in these respects for the development of Korean medicine sterility treatment with a good basis through the more systematic and accurate study method.
The purpose of this study is to compare the papers on and those on in the aspects of the topics of researches, the components of papers(theoretical background, research methodology), and the components of journals. Many commonalities and differences were identified, and some implications were drawn from the comparison. Although this meta-comparison was done with only two journals for the limited period, this study hopefully provides the first step to pave the way to upgrade mathematics education researches in Korea.
1. Objectives: The research papers published by researchers in other fields except Oriental medicine were analyzed to study the research trends and characteristic of Sasang Constitutional medicine. 2. Methods: Systematic searches were performed on KISS, RISS, KISTI and DBPIA and finally 123 papers were selected. The publication year, research field of the first author, title's characteristic, research topic and the classification method of Sasang Constitution were investigated. 3. Results and conclusions: 1) In the analysis of publication year, the number of studies on Sasang Constitution has increased dramatically since 2000. 2) In the analysis of the first author's research field, physical training, nursing, engineering and food and nutrition were the majority. 3) In the analysis of the research topic, the classification method of Sasang Constitution was the majority. 4) In the analysis of the classification method of Sasang Constitution, QSCC II was the most popular method accounted for 68% and interview by specialist of Sasang Constitutional medicine accounted for 42%.
Lower dimensional cases of Einstein's connection were already investigated by many authors for n = 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. This paper is the first part of the following series of two papers, in which we obtain a surveyable tensorial representation of 8-dimensional Einstein's connection in terms of the unified field tensor, with main emphasis on the derivation of powerful and useful recurrence relations which hold in 8-dimensional Einstein's unified field theory(i.e., 8-g-UFT): I. The recurrence relations in 8-g-UFT II. The Einstein's connection in 8-g-UFT All considerations in these papers are restricted to the second class only, since the case of the first class are done in [1], [2] and the case of the third class, the simplest case, was already studied by many authors.
This paper attempts an allegorical reading of female sexuality in Henry James' The Aspern Papers, wherein the narrator reveals his obsession with the love letters of the dead poet, Jeffrey Aspern. Not only the old papers, but does he also fetishize female protagonists in order to maintain his belief in the "great poet." Discussing such fetishistic elements in the novella is in order firstly to reveal the self-splitting logic of phallocentric language, and secondly to analyze the limitation of such language, which resonates with the Freudian construction of female sexuality as critically presented by Irigary. The first part of this study explains the binary structure of The Aspern Papers crystalized in the symbolic courtship in the Bordereaus' garden. It also represents the psychological mindset of the narrator/protagonist: symbolically located "outside," the narrator describes the two Bordereaus as being closed "inside" in a dark mansion, concealing the precious papers from him and the public. In other words, the women are nothing but the obstacle for the self-elected agent, the narrator, from the publication of the language and ideas of the "great man". The women are associated with secrecy and surreptitiousness, while the man with transparency and the truth. Second part of this paper mimics this In/Out binary as a means to reveal insufficiency, if not impropriety, of the predominant discourse of female sexuality constructed and controlled from the male perspective. Employing Irigary's argument, this paper reads the female characters as allegory for female sexual organs, which explains the narrator's inevitable failure. That is, female sexuality is something that cannot be articulated by the intruding language of a masculine subject. since the female sex as such is not only plural but also harmonious and self-contained,

Objectives : Hapgok (LI4) is one of the most widely used acupoints in clinical practice. This study aims to investigate the trend of clinical studies including LI4 acupoint stimulation in Korea. Methods : Papers of clinical researches including LI4 acupoint stimulation in Korean journals were searched in Korean databases of Korean Traditional Knowledge Portal, Korean Studies Information Service System, Korea Citation Index, DBpia, Research Information Sharing Service, and ScienceON. The papers were then analyzed focusing on the number of publications by year, the types of the clinical research, interventions, research topics, institutes, and journals. Results : A total of 154 publications were included in this study. The first paper was published in 1981, and the number of papers has gradually increased since the 1990s. Although LI4 acupoint stimulation was included, most of the papers had additional acupoints and interventions. Diseases of the nervous system were the most common, followed by diseases of the digestive system and diseases of the circulatory system. Kyung Hee University is the institution that published the most papers, and the journal that published the most papers is The Journal of Korean Oriental Internal Medicine. Conclusions : Since the 1990s, the number of clinical studies on LI4 acupoint has increased. However, the results of the studies are insufficient to prove the efficacy of LI4 acupoint because most of the studies were case reports using additional acupoints and interventions. Therefore, more rigorous studies are needed to prove the efficacy of LI4 acupoint.
The purpose of this study is to see what the essential characteristics are in teaching probability and statistics among various mathematical fields. we also tried to connect the study of probability and statistics education with what is needed for a science be synthetic to have its own identity as a unique research field. Since we searched for the future direction of the pedagogic study in the probability and statistics we first selected papers on probability and statistics published in (Series A), the Journal of Korea Society of Mathematical Education, and establish the following research questions. What kinds of characteristics can be found when papers on probability and statistics published in (Series A) are classified into low categories; contents of probability and statistics education, research method of the mathematics education, methods of teaming and teaching, and finally measurements and evaluation\ulcorner We classified papers into two kinds. One is related to the educational contents, consisting of the methods of learning and teaching, and of the measurement and evaluation. The other is reined to the methods of research, which is not a part of the educational curriculum but is essential for establishing the identity of mathematics education. According to the periods, papers on the curricular contents in 1960s were influenced by the New Mathematics, and papers on the curricular contents in 1980s were influenced by 'back to basic'. In 1990s, papers on methods of learning and teaching, and measurement md evaluation were increasing in number. Besides, (series A) from the Journal of Korea Society of Mathematical Education covers contents, methods of Loaming and teaching, and measurement and evaluation. And when I examined the papers on the contents of textbook of a junior high school related to the probability and statistics education and on methods of learning and teaching, 1 found that those papers occupy 1.84% in . When it comes to the methods of loaming and teaching, most of studies in (series A) are about application of concrete implement like experiment and practical application of computer programs, Through this study, I found that over-all and more active researches on probability and statistics are required and that the studies about methods of loaming and teaching must be made in diverse directions. It is needed that how students recognize probability and statistics, connection, communication and representation in probability and statistics context, too. (series A) does not have papers on methods of study. Mathematics pedagogy is a mixture of various studies - mathematical psychology, mathematical philosophy, the history of mathematics and Mathematics. So If there doesn't exist a proper method of study adequate in the situation for the mathematics education the issue of mathematics pedagogy might be taken its own place by that of other studies'. We must search for the unique method of study fur mathematics education so that mathematics pedagogy has its own identity as a study. The study concerning this aspect is needed.
This study examines research trends in Korean journal articles covering the role of fathers with young children. For this study, 45 research papers published from 2000 to present were analyzed according to research periods, research topics, research types, data collection methods, and data analysis methods. First, the largest number of papers was written since 2010. Second, the largest number of papers in terms of research topics focused on the father's child-rearing involvement and behavior. Third the most frequently used research type was the quantitative study. Fourth, the most frequently used data collection method was the questionnaire method. Fifth, the most frequently used data analysis method was the frequency and mean method. Future research should consider broader age groups of father and children by using various types of data collection and analysis methods. In addition, it should be useful to scrutinize general research trends in Korean journal articles highlighting the importance of roles of fathers with young children in a rapidly changing society.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the research trends of elementary mathematics education with regard to the topics, methods, subjects, and mathematical contents of such research. For this purpose, the papers published in domestic journals during the recent 5 years (2004-2009) were analyzed. A total of 383 papers from 8 professional journals were analyzed with the 4 criteria. First, the frequent research topics included instructional design and methods, learners' perspectives and abilities, and analysis of curriculum and textbooks in order. Second, qualitative research methodology was used twice as many as quantitative one. Whereas a survey was the most frequent quantitative research method, content analysis and case study were for qualitative methods. Third, research subjects included mainly typical students, specifically fifth and sixth graders. Papers dealing with lower graders or low-achievers as well as pre-service teachers were rare. Lastly, whereas the research on geometry as well as number and operations was active, that of measurement as well as probability and statistics was not. On the basis of these results, this paper includes several implications for the future research direction in elementary mathematics education.
