A Study on the Future Direction of Fire Industry in Korea (한국소방산업의 발전 방향에 관한 연구)

  • Fire industry has been an important role in from the fire and disaster to protect life and property of citizens. In recent years the national fire industry in Japan and the United States Fire industrialized countries with respect to the fire industry in quality and technology challenges facing the competition, and fire Industry for China and other poor countries and vulnerable to the price competition in the fire industry's difficulties with this study is necessary. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the fire industry, the development is aimed to provide direction. The proposed development direction for the future industrial development of the fire, setting goals, fostering the promotion of industrial development direction, running through the fire in the actual application will be available.

The Study on the Developing Process and the Tasks from Now of the Fire Industry in Korea (한국소방산업의 발전과정과 향후과제의 고찰)

  • The extra session of the 17th National Assembly convened lastly had passed the law on the promotion of the fire industry. Therefore, the development of the fire industry discussed insignificantly in accordance with the establishment of the law. In this important time, this study was intended to derive tasks for development through researching the concept and developing process of the fire industry and forecasting the industry. For defining the concept of the fire industry, this study researched meaning, the present status and features of the industry. For study of developing process of the fire industry, this study analysed fire law and system, fire codes, fire products and development of fire market. The analyses were processed as a unit of every 10 years from 1960's. Consequently, this study presented some tasks for development of the fire industry such as fire inspection system, fire products circulation system, separated ordering system, managing system of fire facilities and technical R & D of the fire industry based on analysing and forecasting the fire industry.

  • 압축공기 포는 공기포혼합기를 사용하여 약제와 물 그리고 압축공기를 혼합하여 방출하는 방식으로, 물의 확보가 곤란한 장소라도 소화 효율을 높이는 시스템으로서 주목되고 있으며, 현재 해외 선진국에서는 이미 개발되어 상용화 되어있다. 본 연구에서는 국제적 기준에 따른 압축공기포소화설비의 성능평가시험을 위해 미국, 캐나다 등에서 채택한 UL-162 시험방법을 적용하여 시험을 수행하였으며, 그 결과 기존의 포소화시스템과 압축공기포소화시스템의 성능비교시험을 통해 압축공기포가 기존의 포소화방식 보다 소화성능이 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

  • Due to the city concentrated symptoms, high-rise building symptoms and diversity, the scale of fire disaster is increasing. So the economic expectation of fire disaster industry is growing. The domestic fire industry has an inadequate system, and hasn't a methodical system to foster the industry. And also most of the fire industry company are small and poor scale. So they haven't enough infrastructure like technical skill, manpower, marketing and so on. In order to drive fire industry from local fire protection industry to knowledge service, in this study, the items of human resources fostering, infrastructure and R&D were set and analyzed as detailed growth analysis factors. Also, the improvement plans were suggested and compared with IT industry which is defined as core industry in the 21st century knowledge-based economy in Korea.

Globalization Development Plans of the Convergence Systems and Policies for Domestic Fire Industry (국내 소방산업의 글로벌화 융합형 제도와 정책의 발전방안)

  • This study is related with globalization development plans of the convergence systems and policies for domestic fire industry. The current issues are analysed from the condition of the policy enforcement of fire industry promotion and analysis results of the fire industry's environment. Consequently, advanced plans of promotion law and overseas expansion plans for fire industry is proposed, Especially, overseas expansion plans include technology policy strategies and activate plans of overseas expansion support for fire industry. Plans of overseas expansion support for fire industry are discussed in terms of three detailed plans including with diversification of foreign exhibitions support of fire industry, dispatch expansion of overseas market pioneer and expansion of the asian emerging markets. Especially, plans of expansion of the asian emerging markets will lead the strategic performances including with establishment of superiority in domestic fire system, provision of infrastructure abroad in domestic fire industry and of Induction of establishment in domestic fire inspection systems.

  • As cities become recently more crowded, various and enlarged, it is required a cutting-edge technology for fire industry. According to this, a transition is attempted from production intensive industry toward knowledge based industry. At this point, in order to develop fire industry into knowledge based high value industry, industry innovation capability is required and it heavily depends on human resource competitiveness. Accordingly, in this study is aimed to look the status of domestic fire industry personnel training by classifying the fire industry manpower by field skill personnel, high technology personnel, and professional research personnel and to suggest problems with personnel training followed by each classification and how to improve them.

  • Plan of Human Resource Development is essential to strategically promote poor domestic fire protection industry and as a consequent to grow it to a high value added service industry. To foster fire protection industry, any reform will be needed to for a smooth supplies of work force by training customized high class work force. Consequently, In this study, We will investigate and analyze the status and problems of current domestic fire protection industry so that We can suggest the direction for a way to improve these.

  • For the fire-fighting industry to advance, it is necessary to conduct research on which parts of the fire-fighting law should be changed from the system level, and to study the opinions of the fire-fighters whoa re working in the fire-fighting industry today, and to identify what needs to be changed. Moreover, it is necessary to become aware on the preventive measures to take to avoid fire so that the citizens can lead stable life. Design business among the fire-fighting facility business, it is the fire-fighting facility business that serves as the most basic when constructing building structure. This is an important legal matter that follows the fire-fighting business, fire-fighting audit business and even the maintenance and management business. This research sought to help the fire-fighting industry to contribute to the life of the general public and to increase welfare by identifying the problems pertaining to the fire-fighting facility design business among the fire-fighting industry so that the industry can become the fire-fighting industry that the citizens are interested in. Moreover, direction for advancement is proposed. As for the improvement measures for the fire-fighting policy pertaining to the fire-fighting facility design business, it is divided into the machinery and electricity fields in terms of the legal system pertaining to the general fire-fighting facility design business. Likewise, specialty in design is deficient. Thus, it should be integrated in a systematic level to contribute to the safety of the general public.

  • 건축물의 창문 등에서 분출하는 화염 특성은 건축물의 화재안전성을 확보하는데 중요한 과제이다. 본 연구에서는 분출화염의 특성을 파악하여 건축물의 화재안전설계에 활용하기 위해 축소모형을 이용하여 화재실험을 실행하였다. 실험에서는 소규모 모형을 제작하고 가스버너를 화원으로 하여 개구부와 화원의 크기에 따른 분출열기류의 온도분포성상을 파악하였다.
