Cancer registries help to establish and maintain cancer incidence reporting system, serve as a resource for investigation of cancer and its causes, and provide information for planning and evaluation of preventive and control programs. However, their wider role in directly enhancing oncology drug access has not been fully explored. We examined the value of cancer registries in oncology drug access in the Asia-Pacific region on three levels: (1) specific registry variable types; (2) macroscopic strategies on the national level; and (3) a regional cancer registry network. Using literature search and proceedings from an expert forum, this paper covers recent cancer registry developments in eight economies in the Asia-Pacific region - Australia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand - and the ways they can contribute to oncology drug access. Specific registry variables relating to demographics, tumor characteristics, initial treatment plans, prognostic markers, risk factors, and mortality help to anticipate drug needs, identify high-priority research area and design access programs. On a national level, linking registry data with clinical, drug safety, financial, or drug utilization databases allows analyses of associations between utilization and outcomes. Concurrent efforts should also be channeled into developing and implementing data integrity and stewardship policies, and providing clear avenues to make data available. Less mature registry systems can employ modeling techniques and ad-hoc surveys while increasing coverage. Beyond local settings, a cancer registry network for the Asia-Pacific region would offer cross-learning and research opportunities that can exert leverage through the experiences and capabilities of a highly diverse region.

This study is to investigate the effects of intangible assets such as research & development, education & training and advertisement on firm values of high-technology firms and low-technology firms listed in the KOSDAQ market, and to analyze the value-relativeness between the audit quality of companies and the expenditure of intangible assets. The substitute measurement of firm values is Tobin's Q model. The sample period for positive analysis is from 2003 to 2008, and the samples, excepting for financial business, are manufacturing companies of closing accounts corporate on December, based on companies of KOSDAQ that are listed in security. Finally, data from about 305 companies are used in this analysis. Followings are the results of the analysis. First, research & development, education & training of high-technology firms have an effect on firm values, and education & training of low-technology have an effect on firm values. Second, we find that audit quality(BIG4) increases the value relevance of R&D expenditures of high-technology firms and audit quality(BIG4) increases the value relevance of education & training expenditures of low-technology firms. This paper is meaningful in that it verified the value-relativeness of cost of intangible assets compared with high-technology firms to low-technology firms.
Recent rise of social media channel is changing social and economic paradigm and is being used as an effective communication in marketing. The following research analyzes the most employed social marketing tools such as portal advertisement, blogs, and SNS channels to effectively execute social media marketing from performance indicator and ICSI perspective, analyzes each channel's characteristics and results based on Korea distribution companies' case studies and suggests a framework to effectively use each channel. Portal site advertisements are the most effective channel to draw customers with new information and are thus linked to profit by corporations with excessive budget and workforce. Blogs target a specific range of customers providing quality information and knowledge thus improving a corporation's and its product's trustworthiness, spread the word by allowing customers to scrap the information, form social groups and synthesize ideas, events, new contents and social involvement with loyal customers. SNS channels allow customers to get involved in real time information and events, grow through network by the power of customers, react immediately to customers' needs, and execute real-time market and customer reports. Though national corporations currently rely heavily on portal site advertisements, insightful marketing professionals are showing financial results with blog and SNS. In the future, based on a precise understanding of each channel's benefits and expected results, and with a focus on flexibility, timeliness and integrated use of each channel, a portfolio of dynamic marketing as a maximizing strategy could be synthesized.

Among several policies for industrial decentralization introduced since the 1960s, business relocation grant policies put a heavy financial burden on central and local governments. This study investigates the change in the likelihood of manufacturing establishments' relocation to the non-SMA associate with the change in business relocation grant policies. Using the mining and manufacturing survey data from 1996 to 2014, manufacturing firms' relocation decision model in nested logit structure was estimated. The data showed that the proportion of movements from the SMA to the non-SMA significantly increased after the introduction of the grant policies. However, estimation results of firms' relocation decision model indicated that the likelihood of firms relocating from the SMA to the non-SMA decreased after the introduction of the grant policies. In particular, firms' likelihood to move into the rural regions is even lower in the period of the grant extension. This suggests that increasing rate of relocations toward the rural regions may have been driven by the growing advantage of rural locations, such as low land rent and improvement in market accessibility, rather than the grants per se. This implies that the alleviation of physical and environmental constraints of the rural regions and the creation of business friendly environment such as easy access to premises at reasonable prices and strengthened linkage with the SMA, rather than simple provision of business relocation grants, needed to attract businesses in the rural regions.
This study focuses on whether non-standard workers are matched by voluntary contract with employers in the labor market and analyzes the factors of involuntary choice of non-standard employees that are diverse by firm size. For the analysis I consider non-standard employees as either voluntary or involuntary according to the push/pull theory based on labor mobility. The Economic Activity Census Added Survey data 2016 show that the proportion of involuntary non-standard employees is greater than voluntary ones as the firm size is smaller. As a result of the analysis, involuntary non-standard employees are not significantly discriminated from voluntary non-standard employees in large firms. However, in small and medium-sized firms and micro small-sized firms, workers are more likely to be involuntarily non-standard if they are older or less educated. In addition, they are more likely to be employed involuntarily in micro small-sized firms than in small and medium-sized firms. Therefore, we should take into account the mismatching problems of compensation, specialty, and career in order to establish policies on non-standard workers. In addition to the financial support for small and medium-sized and micro small-sized firms, it is necessary to provide workers with job information that matches their job skills and career experiences.
The measures taken to reform the Dutch health insurance system hold valuable lessons for countries such as Korea, where there has been increased concern regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of the health services provided. The growing literature on comparative health insurance policies suggests that nations can learn from each other. In addition, Korean policymakers have shown great interest in the health insurance systems of foreign countries, particularly in Japan. The development of Korea's health insurance scheme during the past 12 years has made a significant contribution to the increased accessibility of health care services. Although the insurance coverage is universal, the health insurance system today in Korea is by no means a product of systematic and planned efforts. Moreover, it lacks due considerations of insured's needs as well as the long-term objectives of the social security health care system. There are growing gaps in premium burdens and benefits between the rural health insurance program and the employee's health insurance programs. Furthermore, the regional health insurance program is experiencing financial difficulties in spite of the fact that the amount of the government subsidy has been sharply increased in recent years. Under the present payment method solely based on the fee-for-service schedule, both consumers and providers are encouraged to utilize and prescribe more services. The combination of the utilization-inducing reimbursement system and continuous pushes for expanding health insurance has played a crucial role in raising the country's medical bills. Current trends in Korea's health care sector and those anticipated in the near future necessitate changes in the structure and funding of health care. As indicated in the above, there are various shortcomings in this context, the health policy authority in Korea can draw valuable lessons from the Dutch experiences in reforming their health insurance system. The main elements of the Dutch reform measures are a restructuring of the insurance system and a greater role for market forces in the health care system. On this basis a new system will be created which reflects the social nature of health care while at the same time containing sufficient mechanisms to allow the health care sector to operate in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Several corporations are adopting the 6 Sigma program. Not all corporations are yielding intended results. The inconsistent results may due to the absence of an adequate strategy formulation of 6 Sigma implementation. The 6 Sigma is a qualify control program but its implications are not confined only to qualify improvement. The 6 Sigma program is a change program to bring about changes in organizations. The thesis focuses on developing an installation strategy or model of 6 Sigma program. The utility of the model developed in this research is supported by the empirical evidence. The validity of the model is tested and verified based on the questionnaire survey conducted at 281 business firms. Few research has adopted the empirical survey. The previous researches are mostly centered around identifying success factors. Unlike the present methodology adopted in this research, the past research methodologies are mainly case studies. The distinctive feature of this research does not confine only to the methodology. This research attempted to identify an installation model that would help enterprises get maximum output from the 6 Sigma program. The suggested model is named as Sequential Model(SM). The SM consists of three stages: the preparation stage, the acceptance stage, and the maturity stage. The model is based on the assumption that organizations should follow three stages sequentially to yield the desired output effectively, The preparation stage is further defined including the organizational change factor, the driving system factor, and the promotion factor. The result variable, the organizational performance, is also further defined including the market competitiveness, the employees competitiveness, and the financial performance. The Structural Equation Model was used to test the validity of the Sequential Model(SM). Several alternatives models were developed and compared. The test results consistently show that the suggested model is a valid one and proves its superiority over alternative models. Through this empirical research, we have shown that the strategies of enterprises in line with the proposed model gained better results over others. The research results would be useful information for enterprises that consider formulation of installation strategy of 6 Sigma program.

Recently the fund has been popular for the representative financial investment. In the decision making procedure of the investor about this fund investment, this research analyze how the factor was considered as fund investing behavior. The paper examines investors' risk reduction behavior and fund choice attribution for fund investment behavior, provides insight for marketing strategy in fund market for fund investment behavior. The period for the survey is from December 2014 to January 2015 and analyzed 431 samples of using a fund investor The research results showed that fund distribution, fund literacy and fund performance appeared to be statistically significant variables that positive affected fund investment satisfaction, but fund advertise negative affected fund investment satisfaction. Also, the fund management company, benefit, fund literacy, fund performance, and recommend appeared to be statistically significant variables that positive affected fund investment intention. It is expected that fund marketing strategy based on research return should be established to cope with the fund literacy as well as the fund investing behavior. Concretely to fund investment satisfaction make informed decision in fund performance, fund information provided to investor should be customized to contribute the improvement of overall fund literacy.

Thus this study looked into existing literature focusing on generalities, and after literature studies, hypothesis was set up to solve the problems in the study. According to literature examination, self employed consulting was found to be comprised of four areas: awareness, reliability, satisfaction, and utilization, while consulting could be divided into four customer perspectives: customer, financial, internal processing, and learning and growth. An empirical study was conducted to verify the causal relationship between these causes, and we describe the findings of the study on the business management performance pursuant to self employed business consulting as follows: In this study, we examine an overall business management performance measurement by adopting the four variables of self employed business consulting, and enhance the chance of success by having systematic access to business establishment. In conclusion, in order to increase the success rate of the small business start-up, it is important to choose such items that fit the founder's experience and the characteristics of the business zone, and a successful founding of a business will be accomplished only when sufficient funding is combined with successful running, therefore, most importantly, striking a balance between the factors should start with the founder as the center, and there must be professional business knowledge and technical assistance by the business start-up support agency.

In 2013, the small retailer organized support service, which commenced in 2009, has been expanding its place in the policy by transforming into a small retailer cooperating support service. This support service supports two main sides. One of them is strengthening the financial aspects of the scale by organizing the small retailers in order to make the distribution efficient. The second is improving the management and enhancing the efficiency through visitation education. This research focuses on studying the effects of the visitation education which is one of the two aspects of small retailers support service. Empirical analysis on the effects of the visitation education's quality on the loyalty of support service and business performance was performed in detail by dividing the structure of the companies into chain form and combined form of small retailers. According to the results of the analysis, the visitation education's quality positively affected the support service's loyalty without any restrictions on the structures of the retailers. However in the business performances, the visitation education's quality only showed positive effects on the combined form of small retailers. Therefore, it is implied that in order to continuously receive support program by increasing the loyalty of the retailers, the quality of the visitation education must be increased and the retailer support service need to be considering the structure of the companies in order to improve small retailer's business performance.
