Annually, many parts of the Korea have been damaged from the localized heavy rain and/or typhoons which peak between June and September, which result in extensive financial and human loss. Especially, because the most area of Gangwon province is composed of the steep slope mountains, the damages by the debris flow or land-sliding are more frequent and the frequency has been increased. To analyze the characteristics and causes of these debris flow disasters, lots of study are recently being conducted through database of weather, hydrologic, soil etc using a GIS or remote sensing. In this study, we applied GIS method to analyze the risk of the debris flow area. With the statistical analysis and infinite slope stability model(SINMAP), the debris flow risk level of the mountain slope was generated. As a result, the GIS statistical analysis showed high correlation that former model of SINMAP in determining the debris flow risk area.

Industrial accidents and the resulting worker injuries have adverse effect on industry. From a financial perspective, these effects are realized in large sums of money, perhaps 1.5 billions of wons which are spent last year. In the past. industry in general was not aware of the high costs incurred through injuries to workers. However, this trend has changed in recent years. This paper shows that middle managers have a critical job with respect to safety in workers. The safer middle managers have better resulting than unsafe ones. This is because the workers are more efficient and productive when acting safely. Consequently, this study was primarily an attempt to identify the relationship among middle manager behavior, job site policies, and interpersonal relationships on the job as the affect work safety and performance. More specifically this study focused on the investigation of the research questions by testing the hypotheses.

Quality system management adapted by small and medium enterprises in Kangwon province to enhance the competitiveness was studied. Variance analysis on several questionnaire answers was performed. Motives for acquiring the accreditation, such as product export, adjustment to international trend, enhancement of brand/product recognition, CEO's mind change, and management innovation, have been changed significantly among business types. Mind changes after the accreditations were setting company's first priority on quality, enhanced recognition on compliance of in-house standards and regulations, employee's performance with the recognition of quality. Amongst service problems to maintain the ace reditations were difficulties in maintaining the recognition of the company's finality management, labor increase to maintain the ISO 9000 enforcement team, and financial burden to keep the accreditation. Quality recognition after the accreditations was significantly improved in setting company's first priority on quality, enhanced recognition on compliance of in-house standards and regulations, employee's performance with the recognition of quality.

This paper reviews the one of problems that may occure for the tram operating in Korea, it's a free-riding problem, I analyzed the feasibility of combining the introduction of world-class technology solution "IT". It is under review the introduction of tram in Su-won city, Chang-won city, Wi-Rye new town. Free-riding is one of the biggest issues of any agency that operates the public transportation system. It has been acting as the main factors threatening the financial integrity of the operating agency, and the ratio of free-riding is further increased. In this paper, I want to build a foundation for the development of the system by analyzing the economic feasibility for the introduction of free-riding prevention system.

Global financial crisis at 2008 caused a great change of the company itself and environment as hit product, new creative business model. But it is not easy program. Ambidextrous organization excel at exploiting existing products to enable incremental innovation and at exploring new opportunities fo foster more radical innovation. In this paper are presented the improved procedures of new business model development using 6 sigma methodology. To inspired about new business ideas we use exploration method. Performance evaluation has been done using financial indices which are generally regarded as inappropriate for the organizations which are innovative and progressive. Thus, the Balanced Scorecard(BSC) was developed considering long term performance and invisible performance. This BSC has four perspectives of finance, customer, internal operation, and learning. Based on the BSC, a new BSC has been derived with a fifth view of environmental and social perspective, which is now called as a Sustainability BSC. In this study, we evaluated Green IT initiatives using the Sustainability BSC. The initiatives are categorized as RFID, telepresence, paperless office, logistics management etc. The initiatives were evaluated from the view of five perspectives, resulting in high cor relationships among finance, internal operation, and environmental and social perspectives. Namely, good initiatives from the view of environmental/social perspective are also evaluated as good from the view of finance and internal operation perspectives. In this study, we recommend organizations to introduce Green IT initiatives by showing how Green IT initiatives have contributed to the organizations.

This provided a basic frame to analyze the investment effect on the road, railroad, airport and port as a national dimension but it still has a limitation to analyze the specific economic and financial validities to consider the characteristics of the traffic facilities within the area. Conclusively, the aims of this study provide the reasonable evaluation guidelines effectively to the local automatic groups, especially Chungju in the frame of the present evaluation guidelines. We provide the adaptive alternatives on the present systems which are difficult to adapt to the present investment evaluation guidelines; the estimation method of the social economic index and the estimation method of the traffic demand. Additionally, we discuss the research method of the passage actual state for a reasonable estimation of the traffic demand. The result of this study will be activated for the validity check and construction plan of the reasonable traffic investment plan of Chungju city.

최근의 추세를 볼 때 위험관리에 관한 중요성이 점점 증대하고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 우리나라 은행들의 위험관리 실태는 아직 미흡한 실정이다. 그리고 대부분의 은행들이 현재 위험관리에 대응하기 위하여 ALM의 갭관리, 듀레이션관리 등을 행하고 있지만 BIS에서 중요시하고 있는 VaR의 개발과 운용은 아직 초보단계에 있다. 한국 주식포트폴리오에서 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션과 Full Variance Covariance Model의 VaR값은 비슷한 수준으로 Diagonal Model 의 VaR값 보다 작음을 알 수 있다. 이는 좀 더 정교한 계산이 요구되는 Full Variance Covariance Model의 VaR값이 보다 단순한 Diagonal Model의 VaR값 보다 정확성면에서 우수하다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 한편 이자율포트폴리오 의 경우에는 델타-감마 분석법과 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션의 경우 95% 신뢰구간의 VaR는 델타-감마 분석법이 작지만 99% 신뢰구간에서의 VaR는 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션방법이 작다는 것을 알 수 있다. 그래서 어느 한 가지 방법에 의한 VaR추정치가 가장 좋은 것이라고 단정하기 어려움을 알 수 있었다.

Railroad disasters are frequently occurred by man-made causes or natural causes. In general, man-made causes are illegal construction practices, deterioration with the lapse of time and railroad crossing accidents, and natural causes are rainfall. snow, wind, earthquake, etc. Of cause, railroad disasters by man-made causes are prevented from keeping the safety principle, constructing multi-level crossing, securing enough men of ability and financial resources and making a thorough check using equipments with high capacity. And railroad disasters by natural causes are also minimized by construction of disaster prevention facilities, introduction and operation of general disaster prevention system and reasonable train passage control. Therefore, to setup the criterion of train passage control for train safety at railroad bridge under heavy rainfall, risky factors, national and oversea criteria under such circumstances are reviewed and a scheme to setup the criterion is suggested.

In this study, as the result of analyzing the relationship and influence between economic outcome and R&D supporting investment, the number of supporting subjects among the technological innovational areas of SMEs, it is as below. First, as the economic result of analyzing companies from the investment in R&D of technological innovational areas of minor companies, the number of supporting subjects and amount of R&D have relationship with increase of sales and export amount, employee reduction & the effect of new job creation shows positive correlation with the effect of import replacement. Second, as analyzing the influence of the investment in R&D has economic effect from of technological innovational minor companies. This is thought that the financial and R&D support increase a significant effect on economical, technical against SMEs.
