  • In general, cylinderical types of billet are use in the backward extrusion. It is difficult to obtain homogenious wall thickness by the backward extrusion using these. It is gradually increased that improving the accuracyand reducing the post machining of the final products. In manufacturing cup shaped parts by backward extrusion, it is very important to design optimal initial billet or preform. These can improve the accuracy of final products and remove the post machining processes. In this study, the influence of final parts geometry by the shape of initial billet as non machined types are discussed.

The M2 current was calculated in two case of the two and three point Final closing section. The residual currents are calculated diagnositically from the observed water temperature and salinity data and wind data and tidal residual current.

  • Fuzzy techniques are applied to the positioning of an elastic beam. The advantage is that the system model is not needed. A simple fuzzy friction compensator is also used. The final position is achieved within 3/2 the period of the fundamental mode. A fuzzy set of rules is applied for large-angle positioning, with adaptations that reduce the effects of shock. In this case, the final position is achieved within two fundamental periods. There is typically some final error attributed to the dry friction.

  • The aim of this study was to analyze consonant articulation errors produced by 90 speakers with cerebral palsy (CP). Phonetic transcriptions were made for 37 single-word utterances containing 70 phonemes: 48 initial consonants and 22 final consonants. Errors of substitution, omission, and distortion were analyzed using a confusion matrix paradigm showing the visualization of error patterns. Results showed that substitution errors in initial and final consonants were most frequent, followed by omission and distortion. Consonant omission occurred more frequently on final consonants. In both initial and final consonants, the within-place errors were more prominent than the within-manner errors. The current results suggest that consonant confusion matrices for dysarthric speech may provide useful information for evaluating speech intelligibility and developing automatic speech recognition system of adults with CP associated dysarthria.

  • The quality of a final SOFTWARE PACKAGE depends on many complicated factors in the software development process. This paper describes ststistical methods for establishing relationships between final quality and development process factors. The final software quality is represented by the number of errors through the system test phase. The data presented here were gathered during the course of a real IS-month development project. Regression theory is used for data analysis. Some of the interesting results include the observation that specification changes during the development process have an adverse effect on final software quality.

  • Some methods have been presented to get optimal formation trajectories in the step of configuration or reconfiguration, which subject to constraints of collision avoidance and final configuration. In this study, a method for optimal formation trajectory-planning is introduced in view of fuel/time minimization using parameter optimization technique which has not been applied to optimal trajectory-planning for satellite formation flying. New constraints of nonlinear equality are derived for final configuration and constraints of nonlinear inequality are used for collision avoidance. The final configuration constraints are that three or more satellites should be placed in an equilateral polygon of the circular horizontal plane orbit. Several examples are given to get optimal trajectories based on the parameter optimization problem which subjects to constraints of collision avoidance and final configuration. They show that the introduced method for trajectory-planning is well suited to trajectory design problems of formation flying missions.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the phonological error patterns of korean children with and without specific phonological disorders(SPD). In this study, 29 normally developing children and 10 SPD children were involved. The children were matched the percentage of consonants correct(PCC). 22 picture cards were used to elicit korean consonants in word initial syllable initial, word medial syllable initial, word medial syllable final, word final syllable final positions. The findings were as follows. First, the phonological error patterns of SPD were 1) similar to those of normal children with the same PCC, 2) similar to those of normal children with the lower PCC, or 3) unusual to those of normal children. Second,. korean children showed phonological processes reflecting the korean phonological characteristics: tensification, reduction of the word medial syllable final consonant. This study suggests that both the PCC and error patterns should be considered in assessing phonological abilities of children.
