히트펌프 건조기용 PF 증발기의 능력과 제습량 실험 연구 (Experimental Study on the Heat Transfer Capacity and Dehumidification Performance of a Parallel Flow Evaporator for a Heat Pump Dryer)

  • In the present study, the performances of a fin-tube evaporator and three PF evaporators for a heat pump dryer were experimentally investigated. Among the tested evaporators, the PF3 type evaporator showed the highest values of heat transfer capacity and dehumidification performance, while the fin-tube evaporator had the lowest values. PF3 showed better performance compared to PF1 and PF2, due to the large pin pitch, which leads to more draining for dehumidified water. Also, the $45^{\circ}$ inclined PF evaporator presented better performance than that of the $90^{\circ}$ inclined PF evaporator, owing to its easier draining characteristics. The effect of air velocity was revealed to be quite large. When the air velocity increased by 20%, the heat transfer capacity and dehumidification performance increased 43%/11%, 48%/13% and 54%/23% for PF1, PF2 and PF3, respectively.

  • An experiment was carried out to study the condensation heat transfer enhancement of horizontal circular cylinders with varying outside surface configurations. The refrigerant used is Freon-22 and the test condensing temperature is 34.1C. Pin-finned tube shows about 2.5-3.5 times higher overall heat transfer coefficient compared to that of smooth surface tube, thus has larger encomic benifit for condenser design. The condensation heat transfer coefficient was shown to increase as the fin-pitch of the pin-finned tube decreases for film Reynolds number larger than 100.

  • Experimental investigations were conducted to study the forced convection of fully-developed turbulent flow in horizontal equilateral duct fabricated with the same length and equivalent diameter, but different surface roughness pitch ratio(P/e) of 4, 8 and 16 on the one side wall only. The experiments were performed with the hydraulic diameter based Reynolds number ranged from 70,000 to 10,000. The entire bottom wall of the duct was heated uniformly and the other surfaces were thermally insulated. To understand the mechanisms of the heat transfer enhancement, measurements of the heat transfer were done to investigate the contributive factor of heat transfer promotion, namely, the fin effect. And the results were compared with those of previous investigations for similarly configured channels, at which they were roughened by regularly spaced transverse ribs in the rectangular and circular channels.

톱니형 핀이 부착된 튜브의 와유출특성 연구 (Characteristics of Vortex Shedding behind a Circular Cylinder with Serrated Fins)

  • An experimental study is performed to investigate the characteristics of vortex shedding behind a circular cylinder with serrated fins using hot-wire anemometer. Strouhal numbers which are calculated using outer diameter of a circular cylinder with serrated fins are higher than that of a circular cylinder. Fin thickness and pitch are closely related with vortex shedding frequency and play increasing or decreasing vortex shedding after transient Reynolds number. Strouhal numbers using effective diameters which are proposed in this paper agree with that of a circular cylinder. After transient Reynolds number, a trend of Strouhal number can be estimated by checking the ratio of effective diameter to inner diameter.

  • A computer program, which simulates the parall flow evaporator was developed. The program was having used to simulate the sample $650\;mm{\times}190\;mm$ frontal area, 25 mm flow depth and 3.0 mm fin pitch. It was shown that the cooling capacity of 3kW could be available from the sample. The present model, however, does not consider refrigerant mal-distribution in each pass, which is known to reduce the cooling capacity of the parallel flow heat exchanger.

  • To improve the aerodynamic effciency of TR-E2, a new configuration so called TR-E2Sl was introduced. TR-2251 is composed of different wing airfoil section and T-tail shape compared with TR-E2. Wind tunnel test for TR-EBS1 had been performed by changing the incidence angles of wing and deflection angles of control surfaces such as elevator and rudder. Also the on/off effect of ventral fin attached underneath of AFT fuselage was tested. Test result showed that variations of wing incidence angle did not cause any severe differences in aerodynamic characteristics. Longitudinal and directional characteristics of TR-E2S1 show stable for the pitch and yaw motions. However, the lateral stability of TR-E2S1 is not stable for a certain control surface deflection.

암모니아 유니트 쿨러의 열성능 해석 (Analysis on the Thermal Performance of an Ammonia Unit Cooler)

  • Since the surface temperature of the evaporating tube in an ammonia unit cooled is lower than the dew point of atmosphere, the moisture in the atmosphere condenses and the frost grows on the tube. The frost of liquid film decreases the heat transfer rate. The reliable analysis of the heat transfer is required for the prediction of the optimal design of the ammonia unit cooler. For the specific commercial model, the performance was numerical1y estimated for the variation of operating condition and geometric configuration. It is found that there exists an optimum range for the parameters such as mass flow rate of air and refrigerant, humidity, refrigerant quality, fin pitch, the number of step, the number of rows and the pattern of refrigerant path.

슬림형 루버 핀이 장착된 알루미늄 열교환기의 공기측 전열 성능에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Airside Performance of Aluminum Heat Exchangers Having Slim Louver Fins)

  • 최근 들어 공조기가 슬림화 되고 따라서 열교환기의 깊이를 줄일 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 슬림형 알루미늄 열교환기에 적절한 루버 핀 형상을 도출하였다. 또한 도출된 루버 핀이 적용된 알루미늄 열교환기 시료를 제작하고 성능 시험을 수행하였다. 비교를 위하여 기존 열교환기에 대해서도 실험을 수행하였다. 도출된 형상의 핀 깊이($F_d$)는 10.0 mm, 루버 핏치($L_p$)는 0.9 mm, 루버 각(${\theta}$)은 $35^{\circ}$이다. 기존 시료에 비하여 신규 슬림 시료의 j 인자는 36%, f 인자는 2.3% 크게 나타났다. 따라서 열교환기 체적은 슬림 시료에서 26% 줄어들게 된다. 또한 동일 소비 동력에서의 전열량을 의미하는 $j/f^{1/3}$은 슬림 시료에서 55% 크다. 실험 데이터를 기존 상관식의 예측치와 비교하였다.

  • 본 논문은 SWATH선의 히브 및 피치 제어에 대한 LQ이론의 상세한 응용과정을 제시한다. 부가질량과 감쇄계수를 상하동요 고유주기에서의 값으로 근사함으로써 선형 시불변 2차 연립 미분방정식이 주파수 응답 모델로부터 유도된다. 파기진력은 사인파들의 합으로서 모델링 된다. 좋은 과도응답(transient response)과 적절한 제어핀 운동을 얻기 위하여 상태 및 제어 가중행렬의 체계적인 선택과정이 제시된다. 본 논문의 제어기 설계과정의 타당성이 시간영역 및 주파수 영역에서의 시뮬레이션과 전달함수행렬의 특이값 선도에 의해 철저히 조사되어 진다. 최종 설계된 제어시스템은 본 연구의 응용이 성공적이었음을 나타내는 좋은 전체 성능을 보여준다.
