초 . 중 . 고등학교 교과서의 환경관련 내용분석연구 (An Analysis on the Contents of the Environmental Health in the Primary, Middle and High School Textbooks)

  • To provide data for the contents regarding environmental health (environmental hygiene, environmental pollution) in the textbooks of primary, middle and high schools, a total of 243 textbooks was analysed for two months from May, to July 31, 1993. Among the total 52844.50 pages, 1.65% was related to the environmental health, which account for 870.00 pages. In the textbooks by school level, the rate of the contents regarding environmental health in primary school was 1.63% (148.75 pages). that of middle school was 1.96% (243.25 pages) and that of high school was 1.53% (478.00 pages). The area of environmental hygiene was 0.24% (129.25 pages) and that of environmental pollution was 1.40% (740.75 pages) which is slightly high. In the field of environmental hygiene, the rate of the contents in the middle school textbooks was 0.53% which was the higher than that of the primary and high school textbooks. The rate of environmental pollution area was not significantly different by school level but the number of the pages was the higher at the high school than that of the primary and middle schools, which account for 428.8 pages. The contents related by the areas were as follows: 1. Contents related to environmental hygiene 1) Among environemtnal hygiene contents, the rate of housing sanitation was the highest as 0.14% (73.00 pages), that of air environment was 0.06% (33.00 pages) and that of water supply sanitation was 0.03% (17.25 pages). The portion of air environment was 5.00 pages in the primary school textbooks and that of housing sanitation at the middle and high schools was each 35.0 pages, 35.50 pages, which was the more than that of other fields. By school year, there was no contents related at the 1st and 2nd grades but were 4.75 pages at the 4th grade which were the more than those of other grades. At the 5th grade, water supply sanitation part was found but not air environment. Housing sanitation was found at the 3rd, 5th grades and insect or rodent control was at the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th grades. 2) In the middle school textbooks related to environmental health, 41.0 pages were included in the textbooks of pysical education, the highest number. The next was 19.5 pages in home economics, 2.8 pages in social studies and 3.00 pages in others. The contents of air environment were found in the textbooks of physical education and science, those of water supply and housing sanitation were in home economics and physical education and those of insect control were found 0.5 pages in home economics only. 3) In the high school textbooks, the highest number was 27.8 pages of home economics and the next was 11.5 pages of others, 7.8 pages of physical education, 2.0 pages of science and 0.3 pages of social studies. Air environment parts were included in the textbooks of science, physical education and home economics and water sanitation was in home economics, physical education and others. Housing sanitation was showed in home economics and social studies, on the other side the contents of insect or rodent control was found in home economics and physical education. 4) By the subjects related to environmental hygiene in the primary, middle and high school textbooks, 51.0 pages of home economics were the highest portion. It was also revealed that 49.5 pages of physical education, 14.5 pages of others, 13.5 pages of science and 0.8 pages of social studies were included. The number of 33.0 pages of air environment portion was distributed into 9.75 pages of science, 19.0 pages of physical education and 4.25 pages of others. Among 17.3 pages of water sanitation, 3.5 pages of home economics, 11.3 pages of physical education and 2.5 pages of others were included. Housing sanitation portions were 73.0 pages, which were distributed into 46.5 pages of home economics, 0.5 pages of social studies, 18.3 pages of physical education and 7.8 pages of others. 5) The number of photo, figure, illustration and table related in the primary school textbooks was 31. Among them, the number of photos was 21, that of figures or illustrations was 9 and that of table was 1. The number of 63 in the middle school textbooks was classified into 3 photos, 32 figures or illustrations and 28 tables. At the high school, the number of 56 was included 2 photos, 41 figures or illustrations and 13 tables.2. Contents related to environmental pollution 1) In the field of environmental pollution, the rate of water pollution was 0.39% (203.3 pages), that of air pollution was 0.31% (161.5 pages) that of soil pollution was 0.1% (57.3 pages), that of refuse disposal was 0.08% (40.3 pages) and others was 0.5% (278.5 pages) by school level, the rate of water pollution in the primary, middle and high schools was each 40.5, 48.0, 118.8 pages and that of air pollution was each 20.8, 38.3, 102.5 pages. 2) Environmental pollution areas were not inserted in the textbooks at the 1st grade of the primary school but foqnd 5.5 pages at the 2nd grade, 30.5 pages at the 4th grade, 36.3 pages at the 5th grade and a,9.5 pages at the 6th grade. Water pollution was included from the 2nd grade, air pollution and refuse disposal from the 3rd grade and soil pollution from the 5th grade. 3) In the middle school textbooks, environmental pollution was distributed into 90.25 pages of science, 42.8. pages of physical education, 20.5 pages of social studies, 19.5 pages of others and 4.0 pages of home economics. At the high school, the contents were found 191.3 pages in science, 119.3 pages in others, 88.5 pages in social studies, 28.5 pages in physical education and 1.3 pages in home economics. 4) By subjects of the primary, middle and high schools, the portion of environmental pollution was classified into 322.2 pages of science, 195.0 pages of social studies, 138.8 pages of others, 76.3 pages of physical education and 8.5 pages of home economics. Air and soil pollution parts were not found in the subjects of home economics. 5) The number of photo, figure or illustration and table related in the primary school textbooks was 218. Among them, the number of photos was 61, that of figures or illustrations was 149 and that of tables was 8. At the middike school, the number of 153 was distributed into 99 photos, 34 figures or illustrations and 20 tables. The number of 129 found in the high school textbooks was included 129 photos, 73 figures or illustrations and 100 tables.

서울지역 학교급식 식재료 납품업체 위생관리 실태 평가 (Field Assessment of Sanitation Management for School Foodservice Suppliers in the Seoul Area)

  • 본 연구는 서울지역 학교급식에 공급되는 식재료의 안전성을 확보하기 위한 납품업체 인증제 도입을 위해 개발된 위생관리 평가도구를 이용하여 납품업체 20개 업체를 대상으로 위생관리 실태를 평가하여 개선이 필요한 위생관리 항목을 규명하고자 하였다. 조사 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 식재료 납품업체의 작업장 면적은 평균 $289.8m^2$이었고, 납품직원은 평균 11.4명의 정규직원과 6.8명의 시간제 직원을 고용하고 있었다. 거래학교수는 $30{\sim}700$개로 크게 차이를 보였으며, 수산물 취급업체가 가장 많은 평균 192.4개로 조사되었다. 납품차량은 평균 9.5개의 냉장 냉동차량을 구비하고 있었다. 연 매출액은 5억${\sim}$240억원이었으며, 이 중 학교급식 매출 비율은 평균 85.9%로 나타났다. 2. 식품 품목에 따른 업체 평가 결과, 전체 평균 점수는 1.7점(85.8/100점)을 나타냈고, 업체 품목별 평균 점수는 농산물 1.7/2.0점(83.3/100점), 축산물 1.7/2.0 점(87.2점), 수산물 1.9/2.0점(95.4점), 공산품 1.3/2.0 점(65.8점)을 나타내었다. 납품업체의 위생관리를 영역별로 평가한 결과, 가장 높게 평가된 영역은 '용수관리'(2.0점)이었고, 가장 낮은 영역은 '검사관리'(1.4점)이었다. 3. 영업장 관리 영역의 평균은 1.8/2.0점(90%)으로 평가되었고, 수산물 업체가 가장 높았다(p<0.05). '전용화장실 구비'(1.1점) 항목은 모든 품목의 업체에서 공통적으로 가장 낮게 나타났다. '작업장 시설 설비'에서는 공산품 업체가 5개 항목에서 가장 낮은 점수인 1.0점을 보였다. 4. 제조/전처리 시설 설비 관리 영역은 평균 1.8/2.0점 (90%)을 보였고, 수산물이 2.0점 만점으로 높았다(p<0.05). 가장 낮은 항목은 '소독효과의 주기적 평가'로 특히 농산물은 가장 관리가 미흡하였다. 5. 원재료, 보관, 운송 및 반품관리 영역은 1.6/2.0점(80%)이었고, 농산물(1.7점)과 수산물(1.8점)이 가장 높은 점수를 얻었다(p<0.05). 위생관리 취약 항목은 '입고'에서 '검체채취, 검체 취급방법 구비'(0.6점)이었다. 특히 수산물(0점)과 공산품(0.4점)은 낮은 점수를 보였다. 공산품 업체는 '협력업체 위생관리의 주기적 평가'와 '보관'의 '유독, 인화성물질, 비식용 화학물질의 구분 보관' 항목에서 낮게 나타났다. 6. 작업공정관리 영역의 평균은 1.7/2.0점(85%)으로 나타났고, 농산물이 가장 낮게 나타났다(p<0.05). 가장 취약한 항목은 '전처리'에서 '세척용수의 온도관리' 항목에서 0.7점이었고, 더욱이 농산물은 0.4점으로 평가되었다. 농산물 업체는 '세절시 이물 혼입방지'와 수산물의 '냉장 냉동식품의 절단시 품온관리'가 문제시되었다. 7. 용수관리 영역의 평균은 2.0/2.0점(100%)으로 가장 높았다. 개인위생관리 영역의 평균은 1.8/2.0점(90%)이며, 모든 항목이 잘 관리되고 있었다. 검사관리 영역은 평균 1.4/2.0점(70%)으로 가장 낮게 평가되었으며, '적정 검사시설 및 기구 구비' 항목은 공산품에서 평균 0.2점으로 평가되어 타품목에 비해 현저히 낮았고(p<0.01), 평가한 93개 항목 중 가장 불량한 상태로 관리되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. '검사용 장비 및 기구의 검교정' 항목은 농산물이 0.4점으로 관리상태의 개선이 필요하며, 품목별로 볼 때 낮은 점수로 평가되었다(p<0.05). 이상의 결과를 종합해볼 때, 원재료의 입고 및 반품관리와 검사관리는 가장 관리가 미비한 영역으로 규명되었다. 구입되는 원재료의 안전성을 위해서는 입고 및 반품 기준이 정확하게 설정되어야 하고, 검사관리를 통해 원재료와 최종제품의 안전성이 확보되어야 한다. 납품업체들의 검사관리 수행도를 높이기 위해서는 검사시설의 구비와 장비의 검교정에 대한 지속적인 지도가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 서울시내 학교급식 납품업체 중 거래학교수가 30개 이상인 대 중규모 업체만을 대상으로 수행되었으나, 향후 소규모업체 대상으로 실태가 파악이 되면, 납품업체 대상 위생관리 프로그램의 개발과 업체 지도에 유용한 자료로 활용될 것이다.

At this point be tormented the energy depletions are big problem on the rise. Building mechanical system is configured air conditioning, sanitation, urban equipment. In the design of equipment, installation, maintenance, applies to all devices in the field of industrial equipment and general engineering equipment field are within bounds to say that all of the equipment field. However, domestic technology level is still fly short of international standards in architecture, we spent much energy. Because of this, find the current situation and identify the problems look up ways to improve them.

고령자를 위한 교회 편의시설의 이용성 평가 - 편의증진법 적용을 중심으로 (Usability Evaluation of Churches' Convenience Facilities for the Elderly - Focused on the Application of the Act on Convenience Promotion)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to generate empirical data regarding the usability of churches' convenience facilities for the elderly, while categorizing church architecture as intermediate, inner, sanitation, and other facilities. The generated data can be used for renovating or upgrading the existing churches' convenience facilities to match up the act on convenience promotion. Methods: Field studies were conducted for collecting the empirical data from 42 churches. Results: Specifically, intermediate and sanitation facilities were more urgent sections, needing serious improvement works for the elderly. In the inner facilities, 14 categories were counted as not-met(NM) or not-installed(NI) among total 26 categories. In the other facilities, 11 categories were found as not-met(NM) or not-installed(NI) among total 15 categories. Implications: The research results can be used as a checklist for the improvement of convenience facilities for the elderly in existing churches.

좋은 식단제에 대한 대전지역 요식업소 경영주들의 의식구조 조사 (A Survey on Consciousness of the Good Menu System by Restaurant Owners in Taejon Area)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the sanitation status and food waste state from 220 restaurant owners in Taejon area by questionnaires. As a result, the restaurant owners had proper knowledges on the purposes of the good menu system which is to prove public sanitation and to reduce food waste by changing present food service style. According to the restaurant management characteristics study, the subjects recognized highly for the importance of cleanliness(4.6), taste(4.5) where diversity of portion size(3.9), attractiveness(4.0) were low. 86.3% of the subjects mentioned great reductions in food waste after practicing good menu system. Also the subjects recognized the necessity for further researches on this field. After practicing good menu system in restaurant, their food waste was reduced.

꿀벌 질병 진단과 치료에 대한 양봉가의 의식 (Survey of beekeeper's consciousness for diagnosis and treatment on disease of honey-bees)

  • This study was designed to evaluate the beekeeper's consciousness for diagnosis and treatment on a disease of honey-bee in Daejeon and Jeollanamdo in Korea. The questionnaire consisted of 14 questions. Of 231 randomly selected respondents between February and May 2010, 47.6% was consult a 'club (colleague)', 89.2% treated a 'doctoring oneself', 84.4% was recognize a bee as 'domestic animal', 77.5% was not recognize a veterinarian as field of treatment, 38.5% was acquire know-how by a beekeeper. Therefore these results suggest that the beekeepers are relying a lot on individuals experience for the diagnosis and treatment on the disease of honey-bee, the apiculture techniques was gained much by oneself. Korean beekeeping association was played a role as well, but related-university, agriculture research & extension services and veterinary service laboratory was not played a role in the country.

Field Sanitation and Foliar Application of Streptomyces padanus PMS-702 for the Control of Rice Sheath Blight

  • Rice sheath blight (ShB), caused by Rhizoctonia solani Kühn AG1-IA, is one of the destructive rice diseases worldwide. The aims of this study were to develop biocontrol strategies focusing on field sanitation and foliar application with a biocontrol agent for ShB management. Streptomyces padanus PMS-702 showed a great antagonistic activity against R. solani. Fungichromin produced by S. padanus PMS-702, at 3.07 mg/l inhibited 50% mycelial growth, caused leakage of cytoplasm, and inhibited the formation of infection structures of R. solani. Fungichromin could reach to 802 mg/l when S. padanus PMS-702 was cultured in MACC broth for 6 days. Addition of 0.5% S. padanus PMS-702 broth into soil decreased the survival rate of the pathogen compared to the control. Soil amended with 0.5% S. padanus broth and 0.5% tea seed pomace resulted in the death of R. solani mycelia in the infested rice straws, and the germination of sclerotia was inhibited 21 days after treatment. Greenhouse trials revealed that S. padanus cultured in soybean meal-glucose (SMGC-2) medium after mixing with different surfactants could enhance its efficacy for inhibiting the pathogen. Of six surfactants tested, the addition of 2% tea saponin was the most effective in suppressing the pathogen. S. padanus broth after being fermented in SMGC-2, mixed with 2% tea saponin, diluted 100 fold, and sprayed onto rice plants significantly reduced ShB disease severity. Thus, S. padanus PMS-702 is an effective biocontrol agent. The efficacy of S. padanus PMS-702 for disease control could be improved through formulation.

1910년대 주거담론의 성격 (Modern Housing Discourse of Korea in 1910s)

  • 1910년대 주거담론은 위생론 일반을 다루는 글, 여성의 주택청결 관리를 계몽하는 글 그리고 일본인이 한국전통주택을 관찰하고 평가하는 글에서 등장한다. 1900년대의 그것과 비교하면 위생에 초점을 두는 점은 같지만 깊이와 양에서 매우 위축되어 있다. 담론의 주체와 맥락도 달라졌다. 1900년대 주거담론은 위생을 국가의 문명화와 부국강병을 위한 방법론으로 인식한 개화론자들이 주도했고 국가의 공중위생 책무를 강조하는 담론과 함께 전개되었다면, 1910년대는 여름철이나 환절기 전염병을 예방 차원에서 개인위생을 계몽하는 의사나 의료관료들을 통해 주로 개진되었다. 1910년대 조선총독부의 환경위생사업에서 식민지 조선인의 거주지와 주택은 제외되어 불결했고, 공중위생정책에서 차별받는 그들에게 주거의 청결은 개인의 책임지고 해결해야 할 문제였다. 주택의 불결은 민족적 미개함 열등함의 표상이 되었고 식민지지배의 당위성을 공고히 하는 효과를 낳았다. 또한 1920년대 주거개량 문제가 조선인의 인종적 개량과 문명화의 과제로서 논의되는 데 심리적 배경이 되었다.

HACCP 적용 초등학교급식에서의 시행실태와 개선방안 (Current State and Improvement Measures of HACCP System Applying in Elementary School Lunch)

  • To provide data necessary for effectively applying the HACCP system by understanding the current application condition of HACCP system and satisfaction level of the dietician in elementary schools, a mail-in survey was conducted on dieticians serving for 227 elementary schools applying HACCP system in Kyungsangbuk-Do since November 1, 2001 to December 20, 2001. 83.5% of the subjected schools were conducting more than 50% of HACCP cooking process management, and the level of cooking process management displayed significant relevance according to the number of dieticians serving the school meals. The area that was not well conducted in the field of HACCP system was proven to be water examination(94.0%), inspection on self-sanitation of cooks prior to cooking(90.6%), and maintenance of dry kitchen floor(l4.8%). The reason why the above areas are not well conducted was because of lack of time due to over workloads. Subjective dieticians had pointed out improvement of sanitary concept(58.1%) and improvement of self-sanitation (28.8%) as benefits of applying HACCP. 21.2% of the subjective dieticians were satisfied with application HACCP and 35.2% were dissatisfied with applying HACCP. In case of which the duration of applying the HACCP was longer than one year and in case of higher rate of HACCP cooking process management and longer work experience of the dieticians, the level of satisfaction was proven to be significantly higher. The most difficult things to follow in important management categories according to the features of dietitian work and work experience were food distribution of CCP7 step and maintenance of optimum temperature(70.7%). Subjective dieticians had pointed out insufficient facility or environment and lack of inspection equipments in order regarding problems of applying HACCP. Also in the level of necessity of improvement categories in applying HACCP, dieticians had replied that facility and equipment improvement was mostly needed. Due to the induction of HACCP system in school meals, comparatively well cooking process management is being conducted, and I believe it could contribute in securing safety and quality improvement of school meal by improving the sanitation concept of the dieticians. However, the satisfaction level of dieticians are rather low and there are many difficulties in maintaining optimum temperature in the process of food distribution and transportation process. Also, lack of facilities and environment, lack of inspection equipments and etc are pointed out as problems of inducing HACCP. Thus, to settle HACCP system, it is believed that brave investment must be preceded.
