  • In the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the foundation of software and hardware technologies through ICT, the technology to analyze the principles of information processing activities is the ability to implement programming. In this study, to improve the programming academic performance of electronics majors, firstly, we presented an effective teaching method in order to promote employment in the programming field by improving problem-solving skills and logical thinking skills in the programming field that electronics majors do not prefer. Secondly, we plan to promote intelligence informatization by converging intelligence information technology into the existing electronics industry by developing software utilization skills through programming curriculum that reflects the specificity and reality of electronics. Lastly, as computer programmers, we would like to expand creative talent education by developing learners' capabilities to cultivate smart talents who have both hardware and software capabilities.

  • Shimming is an important technique in development of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) magnets where image resolution is highly dependent on magnetic field homogeneity. Classically, shimming may be categorized into two types: 1) active shimming that incorporates with extra coils and precise tuning of their currents; and 2)passive shimming that incorporates with pieces of steel placed in a bore of a main magnet and their uniform magnetization under homogeneous external fields. Additional magnetic fields, produced by the coils and/or the steel sheets, compensate original magnetic field from the main magnet in such a way that the total field becomes more homogeneous. In this paper, we developed a passive shimming method based on linear programming optimization. Linear programming is well known to be highly efficient to find a global minimum in various linear problems. We firstly confirmed the linearity of magnetization of ferromagnetic pieces under a presence of external magnetic fields. Then, we adopted the linear programming to find optimized allocation of the steel pieces in the inner bore of a main magnet to improve field homogeneity.

  • Sodium hyaluronate (NaHA), water soluble polymer having ultra-high molecular weight, is characterized by using on-line frit inlet asymmetrical flow field-flow fractionation (FI-AFlFFF) and multiangle light scattering (MALS). This study demonstrates the capability of power programming FI-AFlFFF for the separation of NaHA and the applicability of FI-AFlFFF with MALS for the characterization of molecular weight distribution and their structural information. Since sample injection and relaxation in FI-AFlFFF are achieved by using hydrodynamic relaxation, separation of high molecular weight polymers can be achieved smoothly without halting the separation flow. Experiments are carried out with the two different NaHA products (a raw NaHA sample and a thermally degraded NaHA product) and molecular weight distribution and conformations in solution are determined. Influence of sample filtration on the change of molecular weight distribution is also discussed.

  • In this paper, a hybrid method is proposed to design an air-core superconducting solenoid system for 6 T axial uniform magnetic field using Niobium Titanium (NbTi) superconducting wire. In order to minimize the volume of conductor, the hybrid optimization method including a linear programming and a nonlinear programming was adopted. The feasible space of solenoid is divided by several grids and the magnetic field at target point is approximated by the sum of magnetic field generated by an ideal current loop at the center of each grid. Using the linear programming, a global optimal current distribution in the feasible space can be indicated by non-zero current grids. Furthermore the clusters of the non-zero current grids also give the information of probable solenoids in the feasible space, such as the number, the shape, and so on. Applying these probable solenoids as the initial model, the final practical configuration of solenoids with integer layers can be obtained by the nonlinear programming. The design result illustrates the efficiency and the flexibility of the hybrid method. And this method can also be used for the magnet design which is required the high homogeneity within several ppm (parts per million).

  • The architectural engineering is regarded as the non-IT related field. But as growing the domain of IT industry, the students who major in the architectural engineering have to keep the programming ability to deal with the architectural engineering problems. In this paper, It will be discussed the development of the application program for architectural engineering problems by using the programming skill, and how can it enhance the non-IT related field's students to solve the problems.

  • In this paper, we propose a new teaching-learning model with two-step feedback on programming language learning, which is a basic preliminary learning for programming. Programming learning is aimed at improving problem solving skills and thinking by experiencing problem solving through programming. For programming, the learner must know how to work with the computer and what to do with it. To do this, concrete thinking should be established and described in an accurate programming language. In recent, most studies have focused on the effects of programming learning and have not studied the effects of education on language itself. Therefore, in this study, the teaching-learning model for programming language education is presented and applied to the field, and the results are compared with the existing instructional-teaching model.

  • Eclipse Scripting Application Programming Interface (ESAPI) was devised to enhance the efficiency in such treatment related workflows as contouring, treatment planning, plan quality measure, and data-mining by communicating with the treatment planning system (TPS). It is provided in the form of C# programming based toolbox, which could be modified to fit into the clinical applications. The Scripting program, however, does not offer all potential functionalities that the users intend to develop. The shortcomings can be overcome by combining the Scripting programming with user-executable program on Windows or Linux. The executed program has greater freedom in implementation, which could strengthen the ability and availability of the Scripting on the clinical applications. This work shows the use of the Scripting programming throughout the simple modification of the given toolbox. Besides, it presents the implementation of combining both Scripting and user-executed programming based on MATLAB, applied to automated dynamic MLC wedge and FIF treatment planning procedure for promoting the planning efficiency.

  • A novel programming architecture for antifuse FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) is described. This architecture prevents programming transistors from breakdown which occurs due to high voltage across the transistors during antifuse programming. Extra mask and processes can be avoided using this proposed architecture. To reduce the applied voltage across the terminals of programming transistors, different voltage ranges are supplied to vertical and horizontal tracks; between programming voltage Vp and Vp/2 for vertical tracks and between Vp/2 and 0V for horizontal tracks. Therefore, Maximum voltage across the programming transistors is half of the programming voltage and an designated antifuse can be programmed by applying maximum voltage for vertical track and minimum voltage for horizontal track while others are subjected to voltage difference below Vp/2.

  • Power system is becoming more and more complex and large Existing procedural programming technique can't cope with software flexibility and maintenance problems. So, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is increasingly used to solve these problems. OOP in power system analysis field has been greatly developed. This paper applies OOP in power flow analysis, and presents new algorithm which uses only a Jacobian to solve mismatch equations, and introduces a new sparse matrix storage method which is different from existing method. • Recently, various attempts are being done to apply off-line programming system to field of paint robot. But most commercial simulation softwares have problems that are slow simulation speed and not support various painting paramenters on simulation. This paper proposes enhanced paint simulation method for off-line programming system. For these, this method used the mathematical model of flux field from a previous research. The flux field has the flux distribution function, which reflects on the feature of paint spray. A previous research derived this flux distribution function for an integral function and calculated paint thickness function for an integral function. But if flux distribution function is defined as an integral function, it is inadequate to use for real-time simulation because a number of calculation is needed for estimation of paint thickness distribution. Therefore, we defined the flux distribution function by numerical method for reducing a mount of calculation for estimation of paint thickness. We derived the equation of paint thickness function analytically for reducing a mount of calculation from the paint distribution function defined by numerical method. In order to prove proposed paint simulation method this paper compares the simulated and measured thickness. From this comparison this paper show that paint thickness distribution is predicted precisely by proposed spray paint simulation process.
