This review is aimed at the understanding of learning in field-trips relating to education in outdoor activities. The review specifically concerns what studies have been undertaken by seeking evidence from research published between 1950 and 2004. The review indicates three common arguments on learning during field-trips. First, the learning in an informal learning environment based on first-hand experiences is most significant when it has meaning for the learner from field-trips. Second, learning aims and strategies in field-trips have evolved along with world-wide concerns towards the environment. Third, the experiences from field-trips can impact significantly on students' cognitive and affective learning. However, the research of field-trip experiences from outdoor activities has focused on learning outcomes far more than on the learning characteristics which facilitate students' learning. Therefore, further study is required, which can provide clear evidence on how such learning characteristics through field-trips can help studentsto successfully attain educational goals.

이 연구에서는 '과학 전시전 기획' 탐방 프로그램을 개발한 후, 이 프로그램에 대한 초등 과학영재 학생들의 인식 및 이에 영향을 미친 학습 경험을 탐색했다. 이를 위해 수도권 소재 대학 부설 과학영재교육원에 소속된 56명의 4~6학년 초등 과학영재 학생을 선정했다. 선정한 학생을 대상으로 해당 프로그램을 적용한 후, 그 프로그램에 대한 인식을 조사하는 설문을 했다. 또한 19명의 학생을 선정하여 설문에 대한 응답을 자세히 알아보기 위한 집단 면담을 진행했다. 연구 결과, 많은 초등 과학영재 학생들은 해당 프로그램에 대해 다양한 인지적 및 정의적 측면에서 긍정적인 인식을 보였다. 일부 학생들은 해당 프로그램의 몇 가지 한계점을 지적하기도 했다. 이러한 인식에 영향을 미친 경험으로는 '창의성 발휘 경험', '비합숙 캠프형 프로젝트 학습 경험', '자기 주도적 학습 경험', '디지털 기기 활용 경험', '협업 경험'의 연계된 다섯 가지 학습 경험을 도출할 수 있었다. 이에 대한 교육적 시사점을 논했다.

본 논문은 교육대학에서 실시하는 교육실습프로그램을 구성하는 참관실습, 학습지도실습, 실무실습, 수업실습과 관련하여 만족도, 실습시기와 기간의 적절성, 실습을 통해 얻어지는 교육적 이점, 효과적 운영을 위한 개선점 등의 실태를 예비교사들의 환류를 토대로 분석한 것이다. 이 연구를 위해 지방에 소재하는 한 교육대학에서 위 다섯 가지 형태의 교육실습을 모두 이행한 4학년 재학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문은 25개의 5point Likert scale 문항과 15개의 개방형문항 등 총 40개의 문항으로 구성되었다. 설문지는 총 353명에게 배부되었고, 이중 92.35%인 326명이 응답하였다. 자료의 분석결과 만족도, 시기와 기간의 적절성, 실습의 이점과 개선점 등에 대한 예비교사들의 반응은 각 실습형태별로 다르게 나타났으며, 본 연구에서는 그 결과를 토대로 교육실습 개선을 위한 방안을 논의하였다.

Purpose: While there exist a good number of studies on Korean nurses who were dispatched to Germany in 1960s and 1970s in sociological or labor economic perspectives, there have been few studies on their experiences from a nursing perspective. The purpose of this study is to recapture their lives and experiences from a nursing point of view. Methods: This paper adopts an Agar's ethnographic approach which is more suitable to investigate personal qualitative experiences of those Korean nurses. The data were collected from group discussion and individual interview, and field observation with 10 dispatched Korean nurses. Results: The experiences of those dispatched nurses to Germany can be summarized into three themes: challenging to life, embracing new life, and giving a meaning to life. Challenging to life involved 'hope and anxiety', and embracing new life was reflected by 'wonderment and envy' and 'loneliness and sorrow'. Lastly, they took pride in their contributions to their mother country and also felt something lacking that they had not been properly evaluated. Conclusion: By rediscovering their lives and experiences from a nursing perspective, this study argues for more future studies to reexamine their impact and contribution to the nursing field in Korea.

As the occupational education in junior college is being searched to be connected to practical industrial settings at present, importance of field placement is now being heightened. Industrial field experience shall be developed as the work can be performed in the practical site based on the generally comprehensive contents through the applicable educational course rather than simply independent educational course. Furthermore, characteristics of the applicable major shall be reflected in the field placement to be connected to the industrial field experience so that image promotion of the major and other additional value of the major can be effectively operated. However, it is practical situation that most of the field placements are being operated separately from connection and characterization of the educational curriculum in spite of the variety of the industrial field experiences and works in the field sites. Thus, the author of the thesis would analyze practical cases of the industrial field experiences in the past and grasp the problems of them so that we can develop models of the industrial field experiences proper for characteristics of fashion related departments. Especially, through the study the author of the thesis has developed the practical educational model where the fashion majoring educational courses can be connected with the field placement in the school industry in which the practical environment is established as in the applicable industry. In addition, it is judged that Developed educational models can be realized for subsidiary companies with close relationship with the departments besides the school based enterprises.

KOREATECH has operated a Co-op program called 'Industry Professional Practice (IPP)' that allows students to work full-time in relevant industries for at least four months since 2012, and also developed a systematic performance evaluation model on the basis of Kirkpatrick's four-stage assessment model. This study aims to share KOREATECH's Levels 3 and 4 evaluation results which are clearly what practitioners and academic investigators of cooperative education want to know the most. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted for KOREATECH graduates and their superiors to examine influence of IPP experiences on employment and job performance. A total of 730 alumni who graduated within last 5 years participated in the survey, with 213 (29.2%) having IPP experiences, and 162 superiors rated their subordinates on seven performance criteria. The analysis results were mixed. On the one hand, employment rate of IPP participants was 89.7%, compared to 86.8% of alumni without field experiences. Participants of the IPP program were more satisfied with their salary and felt less unfair about their career and promotion opportunities than alumni without field experiences. On the other, superiors rated their subordinates without IPP experiences slightly more positively than IPP participants in terms of job performance. These contrasting results are judged to show strengths and weaknesses of the IPP program at the same time. The limitations of the study and future research directions are discussed at the last part.

The purpose of this study is to look at the elementary school teachers' practical experiences of change and knowledges in promotion of Education for Sustainable Development(ESD) process with Community of Practice(CoP) of teachers and Biographical Approach. ESD project of 'S' elementary school was started by Principal's recognition of further and that was practiced with a common theme over the course through various experiences in educational field with teachers' involvement and finally came to the changes in teachers' personal life and lifelong cognition. Through Community of Practice teachers could look the concept of ESD to a wide field of view and tried various activities in the classroom with students and also, as a further, were able to equip new professional competency with skills. Through the process of learning and experience teachers accepted the ESD philosophy as the engine of life and experienced that their long-term recognition was extended to the whole personal life and the global community.

This study intended to find evidence of changes in teacher beliefs of teaching and learning and a case of infusing research experiences in teaching modules since their research participation. As part of this study, twenty three science and math teachers in Korea were provided with science research labs and field experiences in the University of Iowa for three weeks. The research units that teachers participated in for three weeks covered seven fields of subjects such as: geology, astronomy, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science, and environmental engineering. In the course of this study, the effectiveness of science research participation program was explored in terms of changing teacher beliefs and their production of teaching modules based on their research. This study especially focused on identifying changes of beliefs on science teaching and learning after participating in the research. A case study of a participant teacher was also conducted by comparing descriptively teaching modules before and after experiencing the program. It was found that the program affected the new modules and the research experiences affected participants' beliefs toward student centeredness.

본 연구는 발달장애인 현장종사자들이 현장에서 어떤 경험을 하고 있으며 그 경험이 가진 의미는 무엇인지를 알아보기 위해 발달장애인 미술교육 현장종사자 5인의 심층 면담을 통해 질적 연구로써 Clandinin과 Connelly가 제시한 내러티브 탐구를 수행하였다. 연구 목적에 따라 개인의 교육경험을 통해 생기는 개인적 내러티브, 그들이 속한 문화적, 사회적 내러티브, 교육기관인 학교, 복지관, 아동방문미술교육기관의 제도적 내러티브를 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 아동기부터 성인기까지의 발달장애인 미술교육 연구에 이바지하는 기초자료로 의미가 있으며 현장종사자들이 제시한 발달장애인 미술교육의 방향을 통해 논의가 확장되길 제언한다.

본 연구는 숲유치원에서의 유아의 경험 세계를 살펴보고 그 안에 내재된 유아교육적 함의를 도출하고자 하였다. 더불어 이를 통해 앞으로 숲유치원이 나아가야 할 긍정적 방향성을 모색할 수 있는 기초자료로 삼고자 하였다. 자료 수집은 2012년 3월 넷째 주부터 2012년 11월 셋째 주까지 참여관찰, 면담, 문서 수집, 사진과 비디오 촬영을 통해 이루어졌다. 연구참여자는 부산시 H유치원 만5세반 24명의 유아와 유아들의 어머니 7인, 원장과 담당교사 2인, 숲해설가 2인이다. 연구자는 본 연구의 목적을 실현하기 위해 현상학적 질적 연구 방법을 통해 본 연구의 현장인 숲유치원의 상황적인 맥락을 고려하며 유아들을 관찰하였다. 연구결과 숲유치원에서의 유아들의 경험 세계를 본성의 장, 심미의 장, 참 놀이의 장으로 나타낼 수 있었다. 이를 통해 숲유치원이 유아들에게 타고난 본성을 드러내어 아름다움을 느끼고 참 놀이에 깊이 몰입할 수 있는 공간으로서 의미를 지니고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.
