  • A new technique to reconstruct complex permittivity profiles of dielectric objects by using the moment-method solutions to the electric field integral equation iversely is presented here. Performing numerical calcualtions for several type of dielectric objects by employing the present scheme, it is demonstrated that this inverse technique provides the superresolution of the reconstructed permittivity profiles regardless of the location measured the scattered field, the size and shape of dielelctric objects and the permittivity profile.

  • For an irreducible binomial polynomial $f(x)=x^n-b{\in}K[x]$ with a field K, we ask when does the mth iteration $f_m$ is irreducible but $m+1th\;f_{m+1}$ is reducible over K. Let S(n, m) be the set of b's such that $f_m$ is irreducible but $f_{m+1}$ is reducible over K. We investigate the set S(n, m) by taking K as the rational number field.

  • In this paper, we discuss the existence theorem for multiple vortex solutions in the non-Abelian Chern-Simons-Higgs field theory developed by Aharony, Bergman, Jafferis, and Maldacena, on a doubly periodic domain. The governing equations are of the BPS type and derived by Auzzi and Kumar in the mass-deformed framework labeled by a continuous parameter. Our method is based on fixed point method.

  • The object of the present paper is to study super quasi-Einstein manifolds. Some geometric properties of super quasi-Einstein manifolds have been studied. We also discuss $S(QE)_4$ spacetime with space-matter tensor and some properties related to it. Finally, we construct an example of a super quasi-Einstein spacetime.

  • The impact of the convected charges, which is caused by the electrification phenomina, in the oil-paper insulation systems of power transformers has been numerically investigated using FEM. The potential distribution of the oil-paper insulation system is assumed to be governed by three equations instead of the classical Laplace equation. When the charge density of oil and the conduction current are kept high, the field distortion or the interrace in a power transformer is considerably distorted due to the convected charges.

  • Image inpainting is the process of reconstructing lost or deteriorated parts of images using information from surrounding areas. We propose a computationally efficient and fast phase-field method which uses automatic switching parameter, adaptive time step, and automatic stopping of calculation. The algorithm is based on an energy functional. We demonstrate the performance of our new method and compare it with a previous method.

  • AC loss which is generated in an HTS wire varies with the direction of the magnetic field. This paper calculated and measured the AC loss in the HTS double pancake windings. Brandt equation is used to calculate the loss by perpendicular magnetic field. Calorimetric method is used to measure the AC loss. Results of calculated AC loss are compared with measured AC loss.

  • MAGLEV is the vehicle which can run in levitated condition by the electro-magnets, and the vehicle can run without any contact condition. In MAGLEV system achieving a high magnetic field for minimum weight is a noteworthy goal. Unfortunately the two aspects of this goal high field and low weight are contradictory. Suitable designs must be sought using optimization techniques. In this paper is a technique for designing a electro-magnet in terms of simple equation.

  • This study presents a new stress analysis method to be substituted for the elastic analysis in such a plastic design procedure. This method is accompanied by an efficient mathematical tool which can be easily handled by personal computer. The method also easily accepts arbitrary strategies by the designer for selection member size.
