  • Real time communication is very important in factory automation system using FieldBus. In this paper, we Propose the method to drive dual motors with one controller using CAN In traditional induction motor control technique, two independent Inverters are used to drive dual motors independently. In this case, two controllers are needed. Our proposed dual motors control scheme which use only one microprocessor has many advantages in the view of economic and performance compared to conventional technique.

  • Rapid urbanization occurred a variety of transportation problems. Parking problem is one of the most problems of transportation problem then transportation engineers would get involved in trying to solve parking problem. A way to overcome a variety of parking problems needs preliminary data for conditions of parking but it lacks the preliminary data to do so. Thus this study analyzed a characteristic of a parking through a field survey for parking in Daegu Metropolitan City and Ulsan Metropolitan City. This study analyzed parking turnover, parking use ratio and parking basic unit for characteristic of a parking of each use districts and each cities. This study result reveals difference between the use districts' parking characteristic and cities' parking characteristic. Thus a close examination for use districts' parking characteristic and cities' parking characteristic is a prerequisite for a rational parking policy.

  • This paper reports on a study to increase the flexibility of previous TMDS(Train Monitoring and Diagnosis System) network communication in case of both multiple units and variable train sets. The previous TMDS network configuration has been applied using various field-BUS by the TMDS manufacturers using their own intrinsic method. But recently, there has been a demand for flexible train formations such as multiple units and variable train set formations, hence the TMDS had to be adapted to offer flexible network communication technology capability. Therefore, Hyundai-Rotem needed its intrinsic method of network configuration, and develop a network configuration method applicable to both multiple units and variable train set formations. The TMDS was integrated into the Irish Rail new Diesel Multiple Units from an early stage of the project and subsequently fully tested on a finished train.

  • 본 논문에서는 NFC와 블루투스 기능을 이용한 Android 플랫폼 기반의 버스 정보 알림 애플리케이션을 설계하고 구현하였다. 이 애플리케이션은 NFC Tag read 모듈과 블루투스 통신 모듈로 구성하였으며, NFC Tag read 모듈은 NFC Tag에 저장된 버스 정류장 정보를 읽는 기능을 제공하고, 블루투스 통신 모듈은 아두이노를 이용하여 구현한 블루투스 통신장치로부터 전송받은 교내 버스의 현재 위치를 실시간으로 '버스타요' 앱에 전송받는 기능을 제공하도록 하였다. 이 앱을 통하여 교내 버스를 이용하는 학생들이 보다 편리하게 정보를 확인할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • The Industrial Ethernet technology enables advanced control architectures and offers several advantages for high precision multiple motors actuation. This paper presents the implementation and analysis of a motor drive with EtherCAT, an industrial standard for real time Ethernet. Considering the characteristics of the implemented software and the network interface, the motion and time-response of motor actuation for the networked Mobile Inverted Pendulum have been analyzed. Using the analysis with the task execution times measured from the developed drive, the performance characteristics of the drive in respect of the maximum achievable throughput have been verified by comparing to the conventional RS232.

  • A distributed real-time system that is being used now is usually divided into three level : higher level, middle level, and lower level. The higher level network is usually called an information network, the middle level is called a control network, and the lower level is called a field network or a divice network. This dissertation suggests and implements a middle level network which is called PICNET-NP (Plant Implementation and Control Network for Nuclear Power Plant). PICNET-NP is based partly on IEEE 802.4 token-passing bus access methed and partly on IEEE 802.3 physical layer. For this purpose a new interface, a physical layer service translater, is introduced. A control network using this method is implemented and applied to a distributed real-time system.

  • The harmonics in railway high voltage system is due to common use of 3 phase incoming bus and doing the power converter for traction system on the electric car(or electric locomotive). This paper, we analyze the harmonics mechanism and characteristics of railway high voltage system, also we analyze the problem according to the actual measurement about influence of harmonicsontherailwayhighvoltagesystem. And we proved the countermeasure device(passive filter or L-C filter) of harmonics applies in the field. The test result, we have know that the filter is not fit. Consequently, The countermeasure of harmonics for the railway high voltage system be able to resolve by another filter.

  • 본 논문에서는 효율적인 CIM 구축을 위해 필요로 하는 표준항목과, 이에 관련된 국제표준동향, 국내의 표준화 여건에 대해 요약하고, 설문조사를 통한 국내전문가 의견 수렴결과를 취합하였다. 설문의 조사내용은 CIM이 아직 보편화도지 않은 상항을 고려하여 FA기기 및 요소기술을 중심으로 작성하였으나, 설문결과의 분석은 시스템통합이란 관점에서 분석하여 국가적으로 시급히 추진해야 할 표준항목을 도출하였으며, 국내 여건을 고려한 표준화 추진방안을 고찰하였다.

  • The controller area network(CAN) was originally developed to support cheap and rather simple automative applications, However, because of the its performance and low cost, it is also being considered in automated manufacturing and process control environments to interconnect intelligent devices, such as modem sensors and actuators. This paper presents a new application technology of the developed CAN control modules for the automated doors in building automation system. Key pad and RF methods are used to open and close the automated door by the slave CAN module with CAN protocol. BAS application technology of CAN field bus modules is also presented firstly in our nation.

  • Extremely-Low-Frequency(ELF) magnetic fields are generated around power cables and bus bars in power systems. Such the stray fields may cause disturbances to nearby electronic apparatus and affect even human health. In order to seeking out a proper way to reducing the fields, the first thing to do is to accurately predict field distribution around analysis models of interest. Then, optimization techniques should be applied for finding a more improved design than the initial one. To achieve this goal, commercial electromagnetic software, MagNet, is combined with evolution strategy algorithm. For verification of the proposed method, three-phase power line cables and busbar systems have been tested.
