  • 본 논문은 PMASynRM과 SynRM의 토크, 속도응답, 효율등을 실험을 통해 비교분석 하였다. 이러한 비교는 같은 조건상태에서의 PMASynRM이 SynRM보다 성능이 저가의 영구자석(ferrite)을 삽입함으로서 개선됨을 확인 하였다.

  • This paper proposes a new type of consequent-pole permanent-magnet (CPPM) machine with stator axial magnetic ring that increases torque capability over a wide speed range and enhances efficiency for the built-in rare-earth permanent magnet synchronous machine used in new energy vehicles. The excitation winding of the CPPM hybrid excitation synchronous machine in the stator is replaced by ferrite magnetic ring to simplify the structure and manufacturing process of the machine. The basic structure and magnetic regulation principle of the proposed machine are introduced and compared with the traditional interior rare-earth permanent magnet synchronous machine and CPPM hybrid excitation synchronous machine. Finally, experimental results of a new type of CPPM synchronous motor prototype with axial magnetic ring are introduced in the paper.

Magnetic properties of Sr-ferrite by La-Co substitution (La-Co 치환량에 따른 스트론튬 페라이트의 자기특성)

  • This experiment was carried out to examine the effects of La-Co substitution on Sr-ferrite. The magnetic properties of calcined and sintered materials varied with the substitutional amount of La and Co elements in Sr-ferrite. Anisotropy field and coercivity for Sr ferrite were increased with raising La-Co substitution amounts. The microstructure observation for Sr ferrite substituted by La-Co revealed that La-Co inhabited grain growth during calcination and promoted lateral grain growth during sintering. The relationship between $B_{r}$ and $_{i}$ /$H_{c}$ for La-Co substituted Sr-ferrite was found to be $B_{r}$$≒0.097_{i}$ /$H_{c}$/+4500. In case of $SrFe_{12}$ $O_{19}$, $B_{r} was 4090 G and $_{ i}$$H_{c}$ was 3560 Oe, but $B_{r}$ was 4080 G and and $_{i}$ $H_{c}$ was 4800 Oe for $Sr_{0.7}$ $La_{0.3}$ $Fe_{11.7}$ /$Co_{0.3}$ $O_{19}$.

Rheological and Magnetic Properties of Plastic Ferrite Magnets (플라스틱 페라이트 자석의 레올로지와 자기특성)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the variations of rheological and magnetic properties with powder loading in plastic anisotropic ferrite magnets. The measured relative viscosities with powder loading were compared with the calculated ones. The variation of relative viscosities with powder loading was in good agreement with that of particle alignment. Remanent flux density and maximum energy product increased linearly with the increase of powder loading, and then showed maximum values. The decrease of magnetic properties at high powder loading was caused by rapid decrease of particle alignment due to the drastic increase of mixture viscosity. The powder loading for maximum magnetic properties is dependent on magnetic field during injection molding and melt viscosity of binder, so the binder with low melt viscosity is necessary to fabricate the magnet with high properties.

  • Brushless D.C. Motor is widely used for industrial application because of high efficiency and high power density. Especially, in home appliance, BLDCM is very useful due to high control performance and low acoustic noise. In this paper, BLDCM and its controller are designed and developed for tread mill application. With the restricted stator structure, permanent magnet rotor is designed for manufacturing and cost effectiveness using CAD and FEM analysis. A ferrite magnetic material is used as a rotor magnet for the cost and temperature advantages. For a stable operation of tread mill, over current and temperature can be detected and protected. The designed BLDCM and its controller was verified by the experimental results.

  • BLDCM(Brushless D.C. Motor) is widely used industrial application because of high efficiency and high power density. Especially, In servo system and home appliance, BLDCM is very useful due to high control performance and low acoustic noise. In this paper, 2.5HP rated BLDCM controller and drive was developed for tread mill application. The prototype BLDCM has 4 poles rotor and 24 slots stator. Ferrite was used as a rotor magnet due to the cost and temperature characteristic. For the stable operation of tread mill, over current and high temperature can be detected by the DSP control1er. For the commutation signal, switching patterns from the sensorless circuit and hall sensor signal are used in the DSP controller.

  • this paper studies the influence of permanent magnet on the vibration of synchronous motor two PM motors with NdFeB and Ferrite magents which have same Back-EMF and output power have been desined. First, the dynamic simulation is performed with these two motors' parameters. The current waveforms can be evaluated. And then based on the equivalent magnetization current principle, the magnetic force density and force including the tangential and radial direction components can be calculated. According to the relationship between the vibration and radial force, the vibration of these two motors can be predicted. This result will give meaningful advice to the motor design.

  • This paper deals with analysis for demagnetization characteristic of a ferrite magnet line start motor using FEM. Maximum start and clock currents are calculated by transient state voltage and dynamic equation, and then, these currents are applied to FE analysis. The characteristics of motor according to partial demagnetization are analyzed from FE analytic results, and rotor shape is designed for improvement of demagnetization characteristic.

  • 초고속 전동기의 경우 시스템의 경량화, 소형화를 가능하게 함으로써 에너지 변환 효율을 크게 증가시킬 수 있어 여러 산업 분야에서의 적용이 점차 증가되고 있다. 하지만 초고속 전동기의 회전자에 쓰이는 희토류 영구자석은 높은 가격과 원료 수급의 불안정성으로 인해 대량 생산에 큰 걸림돌로 작용하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 저렴한 가격과 재료 수급이 용이한 페라이트 영구자석을 이용한 7.5kW, 60000rpm급 초고속 전동기를 제시하였으며, 공간 고조파법을 사용하여 자계 특성 해석을 수행하였다. 해석 결과의 타당성은 유한요소해석 결과와의 비교를 통해 타당성을 입증하였다.
