휘처-아키텍처 대응을 통한 UML 기반 FORM 아키텍처의 가변성 모델링 및 관리 (Managing and Modeling Variability of UML Based FORM Architectures Through Feature-Architecture Mapping)

  • FORM 아키텍처 모델은 소프트웨어 프로덕트 라인 내의 제품 개발에 재사용될 수 있는 아키텍처로서 FORM 방법론의 핵심적인 역할을 한다. 하지만 기존의 FORM 아키텍처 모델을 실무에 적용할 때 다음과 같은 문제점들이 있다. 첫째, UML(Unified Modeling Language)과 같이 표준화된 모델이 아니므로, 이 모델을 작성하기 위해서는 고유한 모델링 도구가 필요하다. 둘째, FORM 아키텍처 모델은 휘처모델과의 대응 관계를 통해 가변성을 관리만 할 뿐, 아키텍처의 가변성을 명시적으로 나타내지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 FORM아키텍처 모델의 문제점을 해결하기 위해서, 먼저 FORM 아키텍처 모델을 UML 모델로 표현할 수 있는 방법을 개발하였다. 이는 FORM 아키텍처 모델링에 다양한 UML모델링 도구를 이용할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 또한, 휘처모델과의 대응관계를 통해서 FORM 아키텍처 모델의 가변성을 효과적으로 관리할 뿐만 아니라 표현 할 수 있는 방법을 개발하였다.

정서재활 바이오피드백을 위한 얼굴 영상 기반 정서인식 연구 (Study of Emotion Recognition based on Facial Image for Emotional Rehabilitation Biofeedback)

  • If we want to recognize the human's emotion via the facial image, first of all, we need to extract the emotional features from the facial image by using a feature extraction algorithm. And we need to classify the emotional status by using pattern classification method. The AAM (Active Appearance Model) is a well-known method that can represent a non-rigid object, such as face, facial expression. The Bayesian Network is a probability based classifier that can represent the probabilistic relationships between a set of facial features. In this paper, our approach to facial feature extraction lies in the proposed feature extraction method based on combining AAM with FACS (Facial Action Coding System) for automatically modeling and extracting the facial emotional features. To recognize the facial emotion, we use the DBNs (Dynamic Bayesian Networks) for modeling and understanding the temporal phases of facial expressions in image sequences. The result of emotion recognition can be used to rehabilitate based on biofeedback for emotional disabled.

Speaker Verification with the Constraint of Limited Data

  • Speaker verification system performance depends on the utterance of each speaker. To verify the speaker, important information has to be captured from the utterance. Nowadays under the constraints of limited data, speaker verification has become a challenging task. The testing and training data are in terms of few seconds in limited data. The feature vectors extracted from single frame size and rate (SFSR) analysis is not sufficient for training and testing speakers in speaker verification. This leads to poor speaker modeling during training and may not provide good decision during testing. The problem is to be resolved by increasing feature vectors of training and testing data to the same duration. For that we are using multiple frame size (MFS), multiple frame rate (MFR), and multiple frame size and rate (MFSR) analysis techniques for speaker verification under limited data condition. These analysis techniques relatively extract more feature vector during training and testing and develop improved modeling and testing for limited data. To demonstrate this we have used mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC) and linear prediction cepstral coefficients (LPCC) as feature. Gaussian mixture model (GMM) and GMM-universal background model (GMM-UBM) are used for modeling the speaker. The database used is NIST-2003. The experimental results indicate that, improved performance of MFS, MFR, and MFSR analysis radically better compared with SFSR analysis. The experimental results show that LPCC based MFSR analysis perform better compared to other analysis techniques and feature extraction techniques.

Recently RE(Reverse Engineering) technolo-gy is very convenient method to get free-form surface. This study develops surface editor which makes surface modeling to manipulate control points and this study We study on the effective model data management using database system.

  • In CAD/CAM system, many efforts are made to automate the converting process from drawling information to manufacturing Information. The most difficult step In this procedure is utilizing 2 dimensional drawing information In order to formulate 3 dimensional w&ling information. This paper emphasizes to mWe automatically series of convertirg steps which provide 3 dimensional wire frame, surface and solid modeling using feature recognition rules. With the standardization of design process and the recognition rule as preceding steps, it shows a good application tool to interface the design and manufacturing procedures in PC-Level CAD/CAM system.

청각 구조를 이용한 잡음 음성의 인식 성능 향상 (Performance Improvement of Speech Recognizer in Noisy Environments Based on Auditory Modeling)

  • 본 논문에서는 청각 모델을 기초로 잡음에 강한 음성 특징 추출을 연구하였다. 청각모델은 basilar membrane 모델, 섬모세포(hair cell) 모델과 스펙트럼 출력단으로 구성하였다. Basilar membrane 모델은 음파의 진동에 따른 전달 특성을 묘사한 것으로 대역 통과 필터의 열로 나타난다. 섬모 세포 모델은 basilar membrane의 진동에 의한 신경 물질로의 변환을 나타낸다. 이것은 입력의 상대적인 값에 크게 반응하는 adaptation 기능을 이용하게 되며, 잡음 제거에 중요한 역할을 하게 된다. 스펙트럼 출력 단은 각 채널의 평균 firing rate를 이용하여 mean rate spectrum을 형성한다. 그리고 mean rate spectrum을 이용하여 특징 벡터를 추출하였다. 실험 결과는 청각 구조에 기초한 특징 추출이 다른 특징 추출 방법에 비해 잡음에서 더 향상된 성능을 가짐을 보였다.

  • The exchange of parameterized feature-based CAD models is important for product data sharing among different organizations and automation systems. The role of feature-based modeling is to gonerate the shape of product and capture design intends In a CAD system. A feature is generated by referring to topological entities in a solid. Identifying referenced topological entities of a feature is essential for exchanging feature-based CAD models through a neutral format. If the CAD data contains the modification history in addition to the construction history, a matching mechanism is also required to find the same entity in the new model (post-edit model) corresponding to the entity in the old model (preedit model). This problem is known as the persistent naming problem. There are additional problems arising from the exchange of parameterized feature-based CAD models. Authors have analyzed previous studies with regard to persistent naming and characteristics for the exchange of parameterized feature-based CAD models, and propose a solution to the persistent naming problem. This solution is comprised of two parts: (a) naming of topological entities based on the object spore information (OSI) and secondary name (SN); and (b) name matching under the proposed naming.

메쉬 워핑에 의한 정면 영상으로부터의 3D 얼굴 모델링 (3D Face Modeling from a Frontal Face Image by Mesh-Warping)

  • 최근 컴퓨터 비전, 컴퓨터 그래픽스 분야의 급속한 발전과 하드웨어의 우수한 성능으로 인해 3차원 모델링 기술 또한 급속히 발전 되었다. 그리고 다양한 3D 컨텐츠들의 등장으로 3차원 모델링 기술의 수요가 더욱 많아지고 그 질 또한 높아지고 있다. 3D 얼굴 모델은 이러한 컨텐츠들에 폭 넓게 적용될 수 있어 활용성이 높다. 본 논문에서는 주어진 한 장의 2D 정면 얼굴 영상으로부터 3D 얼굴을 모델링하는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 다수의 정점으로 구성된 3D 일반 얼굴 모델을 입력 얼굴 영상과의 대응관계를 통해 변형하여 3D 얼굴을 모델링한다. 우선 AAM을 이용하여 입력된 얼굴 영상에서 특징점을 추출한다. 그리고 추출된 특징점만으로 직관적인 모델을 변형하기 위해 메쉬 워핑을 적용한다. 여기에 얼굴의 깊이 정보를 유도하기 위하여 한 장의 정면 얼굴 영상을 활용한 명도 변화 기반의 깊이 값의 추출을 시도한다. 이러한 과정을 통해 경제적으로 부담되지 않으며 사용 환경에 대한 제한이 적어 보편적으로 활용될 수 있는 3D 얼굴 모델링 방법을 구현하고 그 타당성을 실험으로 보인다.

템플릿을 이용한 자동차 프리핸드 스케치의 3D 모델로 자동변환 (Template-based Automatic 3D Model Generation from Automotive Freehand Sketch)

  • Seamless data integration in the CAx chain of the CAD/CAPP/CAM/CNC has been achieved to a high degree, but research concerning the transfer of data from conceptual sketches to a CAD system should be carried out further. This paper presents a method for reconstructing a 3D model from a freehand sketch. Sketch-based modeling research can be classified into gestural modeling methods and reconstructional modeling methods. This research involves the reconstructional modeling method. Here, Mitani's seminal work, designed for box-shaped 3D model using a predefined template, is improved by leveraging a relational template and specialized for automotive design. Matching between edge graphs of the relational template and the sketch is formulated and solved as the assignment problem using the feature vectors of the edges. Including the stroke preprocessing method required to generate an edge graph from a sketch, necessary procedures and relevant techniques for implementing the template-based modeling method are described. Examples from a working implementation are given.

특징형상 인식을 통한 창성적 자동 공정계획 수립 - 복합특징형상 분류를 중심을 - (Generative Process Planning through Feature Recognition)

  • A feature is a local shape of a product directly related to the manufacturing process. The feature plays a role of the bridge connecting CAD and CAM. In the process planning for he CAM, information on manufacturing is required. To get the a manufacturing information from CAD dat, we need to recognize features. Once features are recognized, they are used as an input for the process planning. In this paper, we thoroughly investigate the composite features, which are generated by interacting simple features. The simple features in the composite feature usually have precedence relation in terms of process sequence. Based on the reason for the precedence relation, we classify the composite features for the process planning. In addition to the precedence relation, approach direction is used as an input for the process planning. In the process planning, the number of set-up orientations are minimized whole process sequence for the features are generated. We propose a process planning algorithm based on the topological sort and breadth-first search of graphs. The algorithn is verified using sample products.
