Content-based Music Information Retrieval using Pitch Histogram (Pitch 히스토그램을 이용한 내용기반 음악 정보 검색)

  • In this paper, we proposed the content-based music information retrieval technique using some MPEG-7 low-level descriptors. Especially, pitch information and timbral features can be applied in music genre classification, music retrieval, or QBH(Query By Humming) because these can be modeling the stochasticpattern or timbral information of music signal. In this work, we restricted the music domain as O.S.T of movie or soap opera to apply broadcasting system. That is, the user can retrievalthe information of the unknown music using only an audio clip with a few seconds extracted from video content when background music sound greeted user's ear. We proposed the audio feature set organized by MPEG-7 descriptors and distance function by vector distance or ratio computation. Thus, we observed that the feature set organized by pitch information is superior to timbral spectral feature set and IFCR(Intra-Feature Component Ratio) is better than ED(Euclidean Distance) as a vector distance function. Improvement of Speech Recognition System Using the Trained Model of Speech Feature (음성특성 학습 모델을 이용한 음성인식 시스템의 성능 향상)

  • We can devide the speech into high frequency speech and low frequency speech according to the feature of the speech, However so far the construction of the recognizer without concerning this feature causes low recognition rate relatively and the needs of an amount of data in the research on the speech recognition. In this paper, we propose the method that can devide this feature of speaker's speech using the Formant frequency, and the method that can recognize the speech after constructing the recognizer model reflecting the feature of the high and low frequency of the speaker's speech, For the experiment we constructed the recognizer model using 47 mono-phone of Korean and trained the recognizer model using 20 women's and men's speech respectively. We divided the feature of speech using the Formant frequency Table, that had been consisted of the Formant frequency, and the value of pitch, and then We performed recognition using the trained model according to the feature of speech The proposed system outperformed the existing method in the recognition rate, as the result.

  • Bag of visual words(BoVW) is one of the image classification and retrieval methods, using feature point that automatical sorting and searching system by image feature vector of data base. The existing method using feature point shall search or classify the image that user unwanted. To solve this weakness, when comprise the words, include not only feature point but color information that express overall mood of image or texture information that express repeated pattern. It makes various searching possible. At the test, you could see the result compared between classified image using the words that have only feature point and another image that added color and texture information. New method leads to accuracy of 80~90%.

  • The culture interest regarding the new area causes an effect even in change of fashion and that result Mongol area where it is area other than Japan, China and India and it is having compromised beauty raised it's head. Mongol is in Noin-ula area which is a it's former self of the Hun's. There is to a textile pattern which was used not only the textile pattern which has the feature of Scythian system but also the textile pattern which has the feature of China was used. The feature of Noin-ula's the textile pattern is as follows. Noin-ula's textiles used Scythian system of animal pattern, vine pattern, palmette pattern, thunder pattern, spiral pattern, shape of diamond pattern. Scythian system of animal pattern and vine pattern proves the interchange with the countries to the west of China. Noin-ula's textile pattern is applied to the designer's work of art. The designers are John Galliano, Etro, Chloe, Emmanuel Ungaro and so on, who express the modern ethnic style design. Because the more developed the modern society is the more embossed feature of intention for the race and the fork art, I think that Ethnic style design is applied to modern sensitive and ethnic style in the future.

Healing of CAD Model Errors Using Design History (설계이력 정보를 이용한 CAD모델의 오류 수정)

  • For CAD data users, few things are as frustrating as receiving CAD data that is unusable due to poor data quality. Users waste time trying to get better data, fixing the data, or even rebuilding the data from scratch from paper drawings or other sources. Most related works and commercial tools handle the boundary representation (B-Rep) shape of CAD models. However, we propose a design history?based approach for healing CAD model errors. Because the design history, which covers the features, the history tree, the parameterization data and constraints, reflects the design intent, CAD model errors can be healed by an interdependency analysis of the feature commands or of the parametric data of each feature command, and by the reconstruction of these feature commands through the rule-based reasoning of an expert system. Unlike other B Rep correction methods, our method automatically heals parametric feature models without translating them to a B-Rep shape, and it also preserves engineering information.

  • Recently, computer form were smaller than before because of computing technique's development and many wearable device are formed. So, computer's cognition of human emotion has importantly considered, thus researches on analyzing the state of emotion are increasing. Human voice includes many information of human emotion. This paper proposes a discriminative feature vector selection for emotion classification based on speech. For this, we extract some feature vectors like Pitch, MFCC, LPC, LPCC from voice signals are divided into four emotion parts on happy, normal, sad, angry and compare a separability of the extracted feature vectors using Bhattacharyya distance. So more effective feature vectors are recommended for emotion classification.

A Study on the Formative Feature Characteristics of Domestic Minimalism Fashion (국내 미니멀리즘 패션의 조형성에 관한 연구)

  • Fashion photographs from leading monthly fashion magazines in 1960s and 1990s were analyzed here. The formative feature characteristics of domestic minimalism fashion were studied. The major conclusions of the study are as follows 1. The formative feature characteristics of minimalism were expressed as simplicity, minimum, repetition, and futurism. 2. The formative feature characteristics of domestic minimalism fashion were expressed as simplicity, minimum, repetition, and futurism in silhouette, shape, detail, trimming, materials, patterns and color. 3. Minimalism in art and domestic fashion were identified to have a relation in the characteristics of formative feature. In shape and color. simplicity and minimum showed analogy while repetition and futurism showed difference. 4. Simplicity and minimum were expressed in both domestic and foreign minimalism fashions, but repetition and futurism were less expressed in domestic fashion.

  • An effective algorithm for tracking rigid or non-rigid moving object(s) which segments local moving parts from image sequence in the presence of backgraound motion by camera movenment, predicts the direction of it, and tracks the object is proposed. It requires no camera calibration and no knowledge of the installed position of camera. In order to segment the moving object, feature points configuring the shape of moving object are firstly selected, feature flow field composed of motion vectors of the feature points is computed, and moving object(s) is (are) segmented by clustering the feature flow field in the multi-dimensional feature space. Also, we propose IRMAS, an efficient algorithm that finds the convex hull in order to cinstruct the shape of moving object(s) from clustered feature points. And, for the purpose of robjst tracking the objects whose movement characteristics bring about the abrupt change of moving trajectory, an improved order adaptive lattice structured linear predictor is used.

  • This paper presents a new stereo matching technique which is based on the matching of feature windows and feature links. The proposed method uses the FAST feature detector to find image features in stereo images and determines the correspondences of the detected features in the stereo images. We define a feature window which is an image region containing several image features. The proposed technique consists of two matching steps. First, a feature window is defined in a standard image and its correspondence is found in a reference image. Second, the corresponding features between the matched windows are determined by using the feature link technique. If there is no correspondence for an image feature in the standard image, it's disparity is interpolated by neighboring feature sets. We evaluate the accuracy of the proposed technique by comparing our results with the ground truth of in a stereo image database. We also compare the matching accuracy and computation time with two conventional feature-based stereo matching techniques.

  • Study that uses geometrical information in computer vision is lively. Problem that should be preceded is matching problem before studying. Feature point should be extracted for well matching. There are a lot of methods that extract feature point from former days are studied. Because problem does not exist algorithm that is applied for all images, it is a hot water. Specially, it is not easy to find feature point in endoscope image. The big problem can not decide easily a point that is predicted feature point as can know even if see endoscope image as eyes. Also, accuracy of matching problem can be decided after number of feature points is enough and also distributed on whole image. In this paper studied algorithm that can apply to endoscope image. SIFT method displayed excellent performance when compared with alternative way (Affine invariant point detector etc.) in general image but SIFT parameter that used in general image can't apply to endoscope image. The gual of this paper is abstraction of feature point on endoscope image that controlled by contrast threshold and curvature threshold among the parameters for applying SIFT method on endoscope image. Studied about method that feature points can have good distribution and control number of feature point than traditional alternative way by controlling the parameters on experiment result.
