비정질합금 $Fe_{80-x}Co_xB_{20}$ 자화값의 $T^{3/2}$ 온도 의존성 ($T^{3/2}$ Temperature Dependence of Magnetization of Amorphous $Fe_{80-x}Co_xB_{20}$)

  • The temperature-dependent saturation magnetization curves of amorphous $Fe_{80-x}Co_xB_{20}$ (8 ${\le}$ x ${\le}$ 40, the step of x is 8) alloys were measured using a vibrating sample magnetometer from 77 K up to 1000 K. Curie temperature and the Bloch coefficient were estimated from the saturation magnetization curves. The low temperature dependence of magnetization is in good agreement with Bloch relation, $M_s(T)$=$M_s(O)$ (1-$BT^{3/2}$ - ${\cdots}.$). The spin wave stiffness constant, tne range of the exchange interaction, and the probable atomic spin were calculated from the saturation magnetization values.

Temperature Dependence of Magnetization of Amorphous TM_70 Cr_5 Si_10 B_15 (TM=Fe, Co, Ni) Alloys

  • We report the salient features of the magnetic properties of amorphous TM70Cr5Si10B15(TM=Fe, Co, Ni) alloys. The temperature dependence of magnetization for amorphous ribbons were measured by a SQUID and a VSM from 5 K to 700 K under an external field of 10 kOe. Except TM70Cr5Si10B15 that shows a paramagnetic behaviour, both Fe and Co based amorphous alloys show a typical ferromagnetic thermo-magnetization curves. For these two ferromagnetic alloys, the saturation magnetization in the temperature range from 5 K to about 0.4 Tc can be descrived by the Bloch relation, Ms (T)=Ms(0) [1-BT3/2-CT5/2]. The spin wave stiffness constants and the range of exchange interaction were analyzed from the magnetization behaviour. The variation of the magnetic properties are discussed and compared with the composition of the alloys.

  • [ $Mo_2FeB_2$ ] boride base cermets produced by a novel sintering technique, called reaction boronizing sintering through a liquid phase, have excellent mechanical properties and wear and corrosion-resistances. Hence, the cermets are applied to the injection molding die-casting machine parts and so on. We investigated that the effect of deoxidization and sintering temperature on mechanical properties and deformation of the MIM processed cermets. As a result, deoxidization temperature of 1323K and sintering temperature of 1518K were suitable. The MIM products of the cermets showed allowable dimensional accuracy and the same mechanical properties as the press-sintered ones.

  • Co-P-B/FeCrAlloy 촉매의 $NaBH_4$ 가수분해 특성과 내구성에 대해 연구하였다. 5 wt% $NaBH_4$ 농도에서 활성화 에너지가 25.2 kJ/mol로 귀금속 촉매와 비슷했고, $NaBH_4$ 농도가 증가할수록 활성화 에너지가 증가하였다. 20 wt% 이상의 $NaBH_4$ 농도에서 겔 형성이 수소발생과 촉매 내구성에 많은 영향을 줬다. $NaBH_4$ 농도가 높을 때 반응온도가 높을수록 겔 형성이 안 되므로 촉매 손실률이 낮았다. 수소발생과 촉매 내구성을 모두 고려했을 때 담지체를 $1,000^{\circ}C$에서 열처리하고, 초음파 진동없이 촉매를 담지하고, 촉매 담지 후 소성한 촉매가 우수하였다. 25 wt% $NaBH_4$에서는 촉매를 3회 이상 재사용하기 위해서는 $60^{\circ}C$ 이상의 온도에서 반응시켜야 함을 보였다.

Sol-gel법에 의한 초미세 분말 $CoFe_{1.9}Bi_{0.1}O_4$의 결정학적 및 자기적 성질 연구 (Crystall ographic and Magnetic Properties of Ultrafine $CoFe_{1.9}Bi_{0.1}O_4$ Grown by Using a Sol-Gel Method)

  • Sol-gel법을 이용하여 초미세분말 CoFe1.9Bi0.1O4의 소결온도에 따른 결정학적 및 자기적 성질을 x-선 회절기와 M ssbauer 분광기, 진동시료 자화율 측정기(VSM)를 이용하여 연구하였다. X-선 회절실험과 M ssbauer 분광실험으로부터 523K 이상에서 소결한 분말이 cubic spinel 구조를 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. M ssbauer 분광실험으로부터 523, 723K와 823K에서 소결한 분말의 경우 실온에서 준강자성체와 초상자성으로 인한 상자성체의 성질을 동시에 가지고 있고, 923K 이상에서 소결한 분말은 준강자성체의 단일상이 형성됨을 알 수 있었다. 923K에서 소결한 분말의 경우 격자상수값은 8.398$\pm$0.005$\AA$이었고 실온에서 A, B자리 초미세 자기장값은 Hhf(A)=479kOe, Hhf(B)=502kOe이며, 이성질체 이동값의 결과, A,B 자리 모두 Fe3+를 나타냈다. 실온에서 소결온도에 따른 포화자화값은 소결온도가 증가할수록 증가하였으며 보자력은 923K에서 소결한 시료가 1368 Oe로 최대값을 가졌다. 1123K에서 소결한 분말의 경우 포화자화값은 실온에서 75 emu/g로 CoFe2O4의 포화자화값 76 emu/g와 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았다.

서미스터용 Mn-Co-Ni-Fe계 산화물의 조성에 따른 전기저항특성 (Characteristics of Electrical Resistance in System Mn-Co-Ni-Fe oxide for Thermistor with various Compositions)

  • Mn-Co-Ni 3성분계에 Fe의 첨가량을 변화시켜 따른 산화물 서미스터소결체(Mn-Co-Ni-Fe oxide)를 소성온도 1200~$1400^{\circ}C$에서 제조하여 전기저항특성을 조사한 결과, 결정상은 단일입방정 스피넬형 결정구조였고, 소성온도에 따른 전기전도도는 $1300^{\circ}C$에서 4시간 소결한 시미스터가 가장 높았다. 대체로 F-2를 제외하고는 Fe의 첨가량이 증가할 때 비저항은 증가하고 상대적으로 전기전도도는 감소한다. 특히 F-2의 조성에 있어서는 전기전도도가 1.4${\times}$$10^-3$${\ textohm}cm로 높았고 상대적으로 B정수는 2906K로 낮았다.

Electronic and Magnetic Properties of Ti1-xMxO2-δ (M=Co and Fe) Thin Films Grown by Sol-gel Method

  • Electronic and magnetic properties of $Ti_{1-x}M_xO_{2-\delta}$ (M=Co and Fe) thin films grown by sol-gel method have been investigated. Anatase and rutile $Ti_{1-x}Co_xO_{2-\delta}$ films were successfully grown on $Al_2O_3$ (0001) substrates and exhibited p-type electrical conductivity while the undoped films n-type conductivity. Room temperature vibrating sample magnetometry measurements on the anatase and rutile $Ti_{1-x}Co_xO_{2-\delta}$ films with same x ($=4.8 at.{\%}$) showed quite similar magnetic hysteresis curves with the saturation magnetic moment of $\~4 {\mu}_B$ per Co ion despite their differences in structural and electronic properties. Such giant magnetic moment is attributable to the unquenched orbital moment of the $Co^{2+}$ ions substituting the octahedral $Ti^{4+}$ sites. Similar ferromagnetic behavior was observed for $Ti_{1-x}Fe_xO_{2-\delta}$ films that are highly resistive compared to the Co doped samples. Saturation magnetic moment was found to decrease for higher x, i.e., $\~2$ and $\~1.5 {\mu}_B$ per Fe ion for x=2.4 and 5.8 at. $\%$, respectively. Conversion electron $M\ddot{o}ssbauer$ spectroscopy measurements predicted the coexistence of $Fe^{2+}$ and $Fe^{3+}$ ions at the octahedral sites of $Ti_{1-x}Fe_xO_{2-\delta}$.

  • Nanostructed high energy Nd-Fe-B based bulk magnet can be prepared by hot-working process (hot press and die-upset) from melt-spun amorphous or nanocrystalline powder.[1] Recently, we have investigated a modified method, current-applied pressure-assisted (CAPA) process, to produce nanocrystalline isotropic and anisotropic NdFeB magnets. The process consists of current-applied pressing the melt-spun powders to obtain isotropic precursor subsequent current-applied deforming the precursor to obtain textured magnet.[2-3] (omitted)

MgB2 초전도체의 임계특성에 대한 Fe 입자 크기의 영향 (The Influence of Fe Particle Size on the Critical Properties of MgB2 Superconductor)

  • This study demonstrates the effect of addition of Fe particles of different sizes on the critical properties of the superconductor $MgB_2$. Bulk $MgB_2$ is synthesized by ball milling Mg and B powders with Fe particles at $900^{\circ}C$. When Fe particles with size less than $10{\mu}m$ are added in $MgB_2$, they easily react with B and form the FeB phase, resulting in a reduction in the amount of the $MgB_2$ phase and deterioration of the crystallinity. Accordingly, both the critical temperature and the critical current density are significantly reduced. On the other hand, when larger Fe particles are added, the $Fe_2B$ phase forms instead of FeB due to the lower reactivity of Fe toward B. Accordingly, negligible loss of B occurs, and the critical properties are found to be similar to those of the intact $MgB_2$.
