전력계통안정화를 위한 간접적응 비선형제어 (Indirect adaptive nonlinear control for power system stabilization)

  • As in most industrial processes, the dynamic characteristics of an electric power system are subject to changes. Amongst those effects which cause the system to be uncertain, faults on transmission lines are considered. For the stabilization of the power system, we present an indirect adaptive control method, which is capable of tracking a sudden change in the effective reactance of a transmission line. As the plant dynamics are nonlinear, an input-output feedback linearization method equipped with nonlinear damping terms is combined with an identification algorithm which estimates the effect of a fault. The stability of the resulting adaptive nonlinear system is investigated.

  • In this paper. we have simulated the transient stability of power system with motor loads. In study of power system stability, modelling of motors is required for the system with large concentrations of motors. Therefore the dynamics attributable to motors are usually the most significant aspects of dynamics characteristics of system loads. A synchronous motor is modelled as a dynamic load. We investigate the effect of synchronous motors of Kwang Yang network with three phase fault.

  • An unwanted trip of backup distance relays often lead to a blackout. This paper presents investigation report on involvement of backup distance relays in the past blackouts and sensitivity-factor based algorithm to make a distinction between a fault and overload caused by line tripping. A preliminary idea to prevent deterioration of the situation due to unwanted trip of distance relays by utilizing the proposed algorithm is presented.

  • Because of using electrical technologies in the automobile system. It is difficult to detect and recover malfunction of the automobile system. Only the skillful repair engineers could find and repair their problems in these days, but their inconsistent knowhow make it hard to accumulate their knowledge. This paper presents the relations between the engine ignition line and the malfunction of the automobile.

  • It has little possibility that cable and cable joint causes any problem in transmission system. But when cable fault occurs, the damage is very severe. There are weak points to have potential problem due to many cable joint especially in high voltage transmission line. In this study, we propose nobel method to detect PD in cable joints and show the effectiveness of the proposed method through experiment results.

  • This paper presents the reach accuracy of a distance relay for protection of transmission line according to power system conditions. The apparent impedance of distance relay is considerably affected by source impedance, load current, power factor, fault point and resistance etc. For protective coordination on the variables power system parameters, trip characteristics of distance relay at sending and receiving terminal are discussed.

  • A neural controller for process control was proposed that combines a simple feedback controller with a neural network. This control was applied to distillation control. The feedback error learning technique was used for on-line learning. Important characteristics on neural controller were analyzed. The proposed neural controller can cope well with strong interactions, significant time delays, sudden changes in process dynamics without any prior knowledge of the process. It was shown that the neural controller has good features such as fault tolerance, interpolation effect and random learning capability

  • An efficient test method based on march test is presented to cover line leakage failures associated with bit and word lines or mega bit DRAM chips. A modified column march (Y-march) pattern is derived to improve fault coverage against the data retention failure. Time delay concept is introduced to develop a new column march test algorithm detecting various data retention failures. A built-in test circuit based on the column march pattern is designed and verified using logic simulation, confirming correct test operations.
