22.9kV 중성점 다중접지계통에 CD형 초전도케이블을 적용한 경우의 지락전류변화 (Ground fault current variation of 22.9kV CD type superconducting cable system)

  • 본 논문은 CD형 초전도 케이블을 22.9kV 다중접지 배전계통에 적용한 경우 불평형 지락 고장이 초전도 케이블에 미치는 영향을 검토하고 이로 인한 중성선 전류의 변화 및 계통보호를 위한 대책을 논한다. 3상 CD형 초전도 케이블을 사용하는 경우 귀로선은 전향선과 전류가 반대이면서 거의 동일한 전류가 흐르므로 회로의 인덕턴스를 크게 줄일 수 있지만 이를 위해 회로를 단락하여 운전하는 경우 지락고장시 영상회로가 별도로 존재하지 않으면 지락전류를 저감시키는 결과를 초래하게 되어 계통보호에 영향을 주게 된다. 본 논문은 EMTDC 프로그램을 활용하여 이 현상을 XLPE 케이블 계통과 비교, 모의하는 한편, 정상적인 보호계전기 동작이 가능토록 하는 대책에 대해 논한다.

  • Faults on power systems are inevitable phenomena. These faults can be classified by two categories, temporary and permanent faults. Without distinction of fault types, the faults would induce several changes on power system such as transmission line trip. Especially, the most common phenomena which loads experience by the power system fault is voltage sag. Voltage sags mean that the bus voltage maintains under 0.9 p.u. of rating for several cycles, and they give serious effects to operation of load devices. To ensure proper operation of the load, the flywheel systems, one of the energy storage system, are suggested in this paper. This paper demonstrates the efficiency of flywheel energy storage system against voltage sag by PSCAD/EMTDC simulation.

적응신호처리에 의한 주행전기동차의 진동신호해석 (Vibration Signal Analysis of Running Electric Train using Adaptive Signal Processing)

  • The vibration signals of driving parts of electric train are distorted its signal patterns due to the impact components, which occurs when wheel passes rail joints. An elimination method of the impact components is investigated using adaptive signal processing technique in this study The result shows that adaptive interference canceling method seems to be more effective than line enhancement technique. The application of adaptive interference canceling method to the signal measured at bogie shows that the extractions of the signals of driving parts of traction motor, reduction gear, and axle bearing are successful. Therefore, only the signals of bogie, which is the place to attach an accelerometer easily, is sufficient for the fault diagnosis and the safety evaluation of electric train. Also, adaptive interference canceling method can be applicable to evaluate the performance of vibration isolation between bogie and car body and to investigate the characteristics of indoor sound.

  • In this paper, We elicit the necessity of the Autonomous Decentralized Traffic Control System by analyzing problems of the Centralized Traffic Control System and present operation system. The automatic traffic control system using in large and high-density railway stations is designed and implemented on the basis of the elicited necessity in this paper. It is proposed to use broadcasting protocol for interface of stations in order to ensure autonomy. The result is that advantages of the Autonomous Decentralized Traffic Control System makes on-line expansion and maintenance available. step-by-step construction available. and reduce the area of the influences of system fault when any system fault happens.

쇄교자속비를 이용한 3권선 변압기 보호 (Three-Winning Transformer Protection Based on Flux Linkage Ratio)

  • This paper describes a three-winding transformer protective relaying algorithm based on the ratio of increments of flux linkages (RIFL). To minimize the approximation errors, the algorithm uses integration approximation. The RIFL of the two windings is equal to the turns ratio for all operating conditions except for an internal fault. For a single-phase and three-phase transformer containing the wye-connected windings, the increments of flux linkages (IFL) are calculated. For a three-phase transformer containing the delta-connected windings, the difference of IFL between the two phases are calculated to use the line currents, because the winding currents are practically unavailable. Their ratios are compared with the turns ratio. The comparative study between the proposed and differential approximation methods was conducted. The test results show that the algorithm can reduce the errors resulting from the conventional methods.

  • This paper presents a new FDI scheme based on dynamic fuzzy model(DFM) for the nonlinear system. The dynamic behavior of a nonlinear system is represented by a set of local linear models. The parameters of the DFM are identified in on-line and aggregated to generate a residual vector by the approximate reasoning. The neural network classifer learns the relationship between the residual vector and fault type and used both for the detection and isolation of process faults We apply the proposed FDI scheme to the FDI system design for a two-tank system and show the usefulness of the proposed scheme.

뇌서지에 의한 배전선로 고장 시 과도상태 분석 (Transient State Analysis of Faults Caused by Lightning Surge in Distribution Line)

  • This paper presents the voltage characteristics of the various faults after lightning surge hits the overhead grounding wire close to the transformer's secondary side. Based on the modeled distribution system, the cases of the various faults occurred by lightning surge are simulated using EMTP/ATPDraw and maximum overvoltage and RMS voltage according to the distances from the transformer are investigated. As a result, it is seen that the voltage characteristics of faults caused by lightning surge is different depending on the fault type and the voltage characteristics can be used to detect the fault type caused by lightning surge.

Analysis method of combustible gas, which is included in insulating oil, has been widely used in detection of transformer pre-fault detection due to the effectiveness of its method. Neural Network Based Expert System for Induction Motor Faults Detection

  • Early detection and diagnosis of incipient induction machine faults increases machinery availability, reduces consequential damage, and improves operational efficiency. However, fault detection using analytical methods is not always possible because it requires perfect knowledge of a process model. This paper proposes a neural network based expert system for diagnosing problems with induction motors using vibration analysis. The short-time Fourier transform (STFT) is used to process the quasi-steady vibration signals, and the neural network is trained and tested using the vibration spectra. The efficiency of the developed neural network expert system is evaluated. The results show that a neural network expert system can be developed based on vibration measurements acquired on-line from the machine.
