  • BiCMOS circuit consist of CMOS part which constructs logic function, and bipolar part which drives output load. In BiCMOS circuits, transistor stuck-open faults exhibit delay faults in addition to sequential behavior. In this paper, proposes a method for efficiently generating test pattern which detect stuck-open in BiCMOS circuits. In proposed method, BiCMOS circuit is divided into pull-up part and pull-down part, using structural property of BiCMOS circuit, and we generate test pattern using set theory for efficiently detecting faults which occured each divided blocks.

  • The method of pinpointing the place of the abnormalities of a power transmission system analyzes the voltage and the current information from the both ends of a power [1-2]. Now, there are only current and a voltage measuring instrument every about 20km, and the present condition is specifying the breaking down point by viewing of a worker in it.   • A transformer is one of the most important elements in the power network. Transformer faults could cause costly repairs and be dangerous to personnel. To avoid this, its reliable operation has great significance and, therefore, the diagnosis system of the transformer is necessitated. The dissolved gas-in-oil analysis (DGA) is the worldwide popular method of detecting faults such as a hot spot or partial discharges inside the transformer. DGA, however, is not a reliable technique to identify aging phenomena and mechanical faults including insulation failure, inter-turn short, etc. To overcome the drawbacks of DGA, the transfer function method is used to identify effectively these kinds of the mechanical faults.   • 본 논문에서는 유도전동기에서 발생되는 고장들 중에서 고정자 권선 단락 고장 특성 해석과 고장 판별에 대한 방법을 제시한다. 고정자 권선 단락을 판별하기 위해서 단락상태의 고정자를 모델링하여 3상 전류 불평형과 공극자속밀도에 대한 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 유한요소해석으로 얻어진 결과의 타당성을 입증하기 위해 실험을 통하여 전류와 공극자속에 대한 유기기전력 측정값을 비교하였다. 공극자속의 유기기전력을 측정하기 위해 고정자 슬롯에 자속센서를 취부하였다. 고정자 권선 단락 시 3상 전류는 불평형을 이루고 공극자속밀도가 감소되어 유도전동기의 고정자 고장을 판별하는 기초자료가 된다.

  • The assessment of the condition of a transformer winding which is suspected of having suffered short circuit damage can be difficult. Conventional test such as winding resistance, magnetisation current or insulation resistance will only detect damage if a permanent electrical fault exists. Visual inspection of windings necessitates the removal of oil and in many cases only a very small proportion of the winding can be seen. We describe the characteristics. As the front rise time of recurrent-surge generator pulse less than 1000ns and the peak value of pulse is about 500V, we have the good results of detecting winding deformation in the LVI test of transformers.

  • This paper deals with the dynamic property of ground overvoltage relay in large turbine generator. Relay operation is based on detecting the fundamental voltages originating from the generator. Calculations of fault voltage and current are reviewed for the neutral ground resistance. The frequency, ampitude and waveform of individual harmonics were measured using power quality analyzer and memory hi-corder at the secondary side of ground potential transformer. The ac and dc high-potential tests were applied to evaluate the condition of generator, main and auxiliary transformer, isolated phase bus, potential transformer, surge capacitor and arrester.

  • Recently, the load increasement and new regenerative systems of electrified railway system make it a difficult to distinguish between the load current and fault current. The failure of traction system perhaps causes over-current to flow. The high current can collapse other railway systems. If failures of the traction system takes place, the failures are detected and protected lest it should provoke high current flow. The over current from such a traction system failure permit to charge high tension voltage and produces high temperature arc, voltage instability, current cutting, and break down railway systems. The traction system failures detect and the system has to immediately cut off from over-current flow. To isolate the failure, the system can distinguish failure current from current flows. It forces us to adapt such as a new intelligent protection system. The protective system in traction system play a role of detecting and isolating failure points. In this paper, we proposed intelligent algorithm for discriminating normal and abnormal situation instead of the system being operated abnormally.

  • This paper studies a more exact flicker evaluation method by detecting power quality disturbances and excluding the effects of power quality disturbances. Up to the present, power quality disturbances affect flicker evaluation index because power quality problems do not have been considered. However, flick index should represent only flicker without power quality disturbances. Thus, in this paper, we present the improved flicker evaluation method which removing the effects of power quality disturbances such as voltage sag and transient caused by fault and inverter/breaker switching. We detect voltage sag and transient using wavelet transform and remove the effects of power quality disturbances from flicker index.

발전기 계자보호를 위한 계자상실 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on Loss of Excitation Algorithm for Generator Field Protection)

  • The most widely used scheme for detecting loss of excitation on generator is used to sense apparent impedance from generator terminals. This paper presents loss of excitation algorithm using DFT filter based negative offset mho elements for generator field protection. It's algorithm includes two negative mho characteristics looking in the generator. The generator control system was modeled by PSCAD/EMTDC software, and then the proposed algorithm was tested by the collecting relaying signals from selected the generator model. From simulation results, the loss of excitation algorithm can be used to field protection for generator.

  • 프로그램 가능한 논리제어기(PLC : Programmable Logic Controller)의 활용을 위 한 낮은 복잡성과 결함탐색 기능을 갖는 컴퓨터 구조를 설계하였다. PLC의 반복적인 운영모드와 명세단계, 응용분야에 따라 표준화한 소프트웨어 기능모듈들의 상호연결 을 기본으로 하는 그래픽 프로그래밍 패러다임(paradigm)이 구조적으로 지원된다. 그러므로 설계과정에서 프로그래밍 단계와 가장 단순하면서도 엄격한 Diverse Back Translation 방법에 의해 응용소프트웨어의 안전성 인증을 가능케하는 컴퓨터 실행 (machine execution) 단계 사이의 의미상 격차(semantic gap)가 제거된다.
