패션 관련 학과 의복구성분야 교육과정 현황분석 -국내 4년제 대학을 중심으로- (Analysis of Curriculum in the Field of Clothing Construction Fashion Related Courses -Focusing on Four-year Domestic University-)

  • We selected 81 universities (39.1%) for research and close analysis to analyze the current availability of courses in the field of clothing construction at four-year domestic universities. The results of the analysis shows that curriculum is currently composed of theoretical and practical courses that continue to be developed in diverse areas of study. Despite having classes with underlying similarities and differences, research shows that the course curriculum is constructed systematically with both theory and practice at each stage. Distribution of curriculum in the field of clothing construction were organized and analyzed by similar courses in 4 larger groupings and 9 sub-groups. Analysis of the large groupings showed that sewing courses (19.8%), pattern development courses (41.0%), advanced sewing courses (14.1%), and miscellaneous courses (26.1%) were established. Analysis of the sub-groups showed that basic theory and sewing courses (3.6%), sewing courses (16.1%), flat pattern courses (17.9%), draping pattern courses (14.6%), pattern CAD courses (7.3%), tailoring and advanced sewing courses (8.5%), scientific sewing and apparel production processing courses (1.4%), special sewing courses (3.9%), and miscellaneous and new subject courses (26.1%) were established. Overall analysis of the organization distribution was conducted in the order of pattern development (39.9%), miscellaneous & new subject (26.1%), basic theory and sewing (19.8%), and advanced sewing (14.0%). Field analysis from various angles indicates that pattern development, new subject courses, and miscellaneous courses had a relatively higher proportion than other major courses. From this it can be inferred that this trend is an effort to develop individuals to adapt to a rapidly changing fashion industry and environment. The composition of courses also shows great advancement towards diversification and course development. However, there is still insufficient exchange between industrial and education sites. As active exchange continue to be demanded, classification standards for new subject courses and titles of such studies have become unclear and have reached limitations.

  • All people think that their apparence which may be evaluated by someone is a very important thing. Especially, this trend is more important to women. The objective of this study is to compare and analyze the data of ideal and real body size which are obtained from female university students. Also, in order to find the difference of view of point between men and women, some data are obtained from male university students. The data are collected by the five typical parts on body such as height, weight, circumferences of chest, waist, and buttock. the samples for this study are randomly chosen from the universities in Seoul and Kangnung during three months (1999. 9~1999. 11). According to many researches, there is a strong relationship between cloth and appearance. The result of this study will play an important role not only for clothing psychology but also clothing marketing.

Many researches have reported that there is a strong relationship between cloth and appearance. So far, there are many researches on the body size of females but it is not same for males. 팬츠패턴의 설계요인 분석 - 밑위관련 항목을 중심으로 - (An Analysis on the Design Factors for Pants Pattern - Focused on Crotch Region -)

  • Pants is an item of clothes of which physical suitability for improvement of appearance and movement is greatly emphasized. The pattern design of pants is very important because the fitness of crotch region, which is difficult to measure, is structurally essential in pants. This study gives detailed pattern development data for the future pattern design by considering design factors related with crotch region of pants and by suggesting related data. For this study, we measured and analyzed the measuring size of each parts of pattern and the design methods related with crotch region selecting 20 textbooks used in universities and institutes of higher education. Through this study, crotch region of pants pattern related design data were obtained and this result could be a primary information in development and education of pants pattern.

The study of hanbok course in Chinese university

  • This research investigates how interest develops across a set of tasks within a course defined by a specific knowledge domain. The current study examined the relationships among self-concept, self-efficacy, Korea-related factors, and evaluation, in the context of learning about the Hanbok costume at Chinese universities. A survey (n=300) was conducted using an online survey website (www.sojump.com) from the 1st to the 25th of June. The structural equation model (SEM) analysis, including total and specific forms of self-evaluation with Hanbok courses, showed that self-concept was positively associated with self-efficacy. Conversely, K-culture interest and K-country image did not significantly affect self-efficacy in clothing, but positively affected Hanbok's self-efficacy. Meanwhile, the more self-efficacy perceived, the higher the level of evaluation. Overall, our findings imply that supporting the students' Korean culture interest, country image perception, and self-concept for regulation can enhance self-evaluation and self-realization success. Theoretical and practical implications for Hanbok courses are discussed.

  • This is a basic study for developing educational dress forms of male adults' pattern making. While examining the reality of each university's men's wear education and the production of male dress forms, this paper found the following findings: 1. Survey of Dress Forms Used by Men's Apparel Companies The men's apparel companies had dissatisfaction with domestic dress forms but satisfaction with foreign-made ones. In general, among the unsatisfied items were wide discrepancy in male Korean body sizes, unfitting domestic somatotypes, lacking dress forms for those in the 20s, and no diverse forms per body type. To be specific, unsuitable hip and shoulder parts as well as weak fixing parts were pointed out. Every apparel companies found it necessary to develop male dress forms based on Korean male adults. When they are developed for sale, they will be highly utilized in the order of fitting, pattern making, male design research, and somatotype research. 2. Survey of Education for Men's Wear in Fashion Dept. of University 61.54% of the investigated universities had some teaching as far as men's wear were concerned. Application areas of male dress forms were such as pattern making (53.85%), fitting (41.38%), and design research (5.77%). As to the degrees of utilization, 73.08% predicted them high.

중국 유학생의 의복 구매 및 착용 실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on Chinese Students' Clothing Purchase and Wearing Condition)

  • The purpose of this study was to find ways to increase sales and enhance of the competitiveness of the Korean fashion brands expanding into the Chinese market by conducting a survey of the Chinese female students in order to gather data regarding their preferences and features so that clothes that are more suitable for Chinese women can be designed. For this study, a survey was conducted to 305 students attending universities or language schools located in the metropolitan areas near Seoul who had exposure to Korean clothes. The study results can be summed up as follows: According to the analysis, the Chinese students preferred comfortable, practical, and casual styles. And the analysis shows that they prefer achromatic monotonous colors rather than vivid colors or splendid and complex patterns. The students felt that Korean clothes reflected the trends very well, and they also showed very high satisfaction with the design. The most common way of gathering information for their clothing purchase was through Internet search and magazine advertisements. The survey showed that the biggest strength of the Korean fashion brands was their ability to reflect the fast changing fashion trends in their designs, and they were very much satisfied with their diverse designs and colors. Among the domestic fashion brands, they prefer domestic SPA brands such as MIXXO, SPAO, and 8IGHT SECONDS.

  • 본 연구는 들뢰즈의 신체 미학을 바탕으로 탈영토화의 관점에서 분석하고 현대 패션디자인의 작품 속에 내재되어있는 시각화특징이 히스테리, 형상화. 신체분해, 동물-되기 등 4가지 특성으로 신체 개조, 즉 패션조형화, 예술화 됨을 심층적으로 검토하였다. 첫째, 히스테리는 패션 디자인에서 의상의 변형과 과장이 주는 강렬한 시각적인 효과를 보여준다. 둘째, 형상화가 패션에서의 표현은 가면이 얼굴을 제거하거나 의상구조 등은 얼굴을 희미하게 해주는 두 가지 분야다. 이는 신원의 약화와 의상 및 신체를 돋보이게 한다. 셋째, 신체 분화는 의상의 구조 해체와 재구성을 의미하며 새로운 사고방식을 표현한다. 넷째, 동물-되기는 동물 그림의 활용과 사람과 동물 사이의 이질적인 연결에 따른 형체 돌연변이를 보여줌으로써 신체를 다시 생각할 수 있는 가능성을 보여준다.

펫패션 제품(반려견 옷)에 대한 소비자의식 및 구매성향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Consumer Consciousness and Purchasing Tendency on Pet Fashion Products(Dog Clothes))

  • This paper aimed to provide the basic data on consumers' awareness, behavioral patterns, and purchase methods for pet fashion(dog clothes). Research was conducted in April 2023 among 183 college students from universities in the Gyeonggi-do region. The analysis results are presented below. When asked if they think clothes are a daily necessity for dogs, 74.3% recognized clothes as a daily necessity for dogs. The biggest purpose of clothing for dogs was 'physical health (prevention of cold/heat, etc.)' with 60.1%. 96.7% of the respondents were very positive about the development prospects for the pet fashion industry. 46.4% of the subjects were currently living with a dog, and 30.6% of the subjects have lived with a dog for 'less than 1-3 years'. 93.0% of college students who live with a dog own dog clothes. As for the dog's clothing style, T-shirt styles without a slit were the most common at 33.6%. 81.0% of companion dog owners were found to dress their dogs when going out, and the most common reason was 'physical health (prevention of cold/heat, etc.)' at 76.6%. When purchasing dog clothes, 72.2% of the subjects considered 'fitting with the dog/convenience', and 27.8% were 'focusing on the companion's taste'. As for how to purchase dog clothes, 39.2% chose 'store visits and online purchases', 34.2% chose 'store visits and purchases', and 26.6% chose 'online purchases'. As for the most considered part when purchasing clothes for dogs, 51.9% identified 'design' and 39.2% identified 'material'. 80.7% of respondents said they would increase the purchase of dog clothes in the future.

4차 산업혁명 시대의 윤리적 이슈와 대학의 생명윤리교육 방향 제고 (Ethical Issues in the Forth Industrial Revolution and the Enhancement of Bioethics Education in Korean Universities)

  • 4차 산업혁명시대가 도래했다는 관심이 증가되면서 이에 따른 윤리적 이슈에 대한 탐구 및 대학 교육의 방향에 대한 제고가 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문의 목적은 4차 산업혁명 시대의 대표적 기술분야인 인공지능, 빅데이터, 유전체 기술, 가상현실의 윤리적 이슈 및 국내외 정책과 교육 현황을 살펴보고 앞으로 대학의 생명윤리교육이 나아가야 할 방향을 제안하는 것이다. 4차 산업혁명시대의 국내외 정책과 교육현황을 요약하면, 국외는 4차 산업혁명 기술의 잠재적 이득과 사회적 위험에 대한 법적, 윤리적 고려를 바탕으로 관련 가이드 라인 및 규제 권고안이 발표되었고, 과학 기술의 발전에 따른 학생들의 윤리적 가치 확립의 중요성이 정책적으로 강조됨에 따라 4차 산업혁명시대의 기술개발과 관련된 생명윤리교육과정이 개설된 바 있으며, 대학 내 윤리실험실 개설, 공개 토론회를 넘어 온라인 공개 강좌를 통해 생명윤리 교육의 접근성을 높이고 있다. 국내의 경우에도 최근 공청회 등을 통해 4차 산업시대의 정책방향에 대한 논의가 이루어지고 있으며, 대학교육 또한 시대적 흐름에 맞는 생명윤리 교육을 제공하기 위한 시도가 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 국내 대학의 생명윤리교육은 전통적인 생명윤리 주제에 새로운 과학기술로 야기된 윤리적 이슈를 일부 추가하여 운영되는 교육과정이 대부분이며, 단일 전공 교수자의 강의 운영, 선택 과목, 비정기적인 강의 개설, 그리고 온라인 공개 강좌의 부재 등의 제한점이 확인되었다. 이에 따라, 본 논문에서는 추후 국내 대학의 생명윤리교육을 개선하기 위한 방안을 다음과 같이 제안하고자 한다; 국내 대학의 생명윤리교육은 다직군 간 교육으로 개발되고, 점진적으로 필수 교육과정으로 지정하여 교육의 기회를 확보하며, 온라인 공개 강좌로 확대 개설할 필요가 있다. 또한, 대학 내 생명윤리 이슈에 관한 공개 토론의 장을 마련하고 과학기술의 발전과 그 변화를 함께할 수 있도록 주기적인 논의를 통해 생명윤리교육의 내용을 지속적으로 개선해야 할 것이다.
