This study was collected in 2004 s/s 177 points image data and survey results input to the system This system analyzed the results as follow ; First, in all four areas of S/S, many people wear soft materials and plain T-shirts on top and tough material and plain jeans on the bottom. Second, In the case of dresses, in many areas people wear tough fabric plain A-line, one-piece dresses but in Hapsung-dong, many people wear geometrical figures. Text data plays a significant role in understanding and analyzing trends in consumer, business, and social sectors. For text analysis, there must be a corpus that reflects specific domain knowledge. However, in the field of fashion, the professional corpus is insufficient. This study aims to develop a taxonomy and thesaurus that considers the specialty of fashion products. To this end, about 100,000 fashion vocabulary terms were collected by crawling text data from WSGN, Pantone, and online platforms; text subsequently was extracted through preprocessing with Python. The taxonomy was composed of items, silhouettes, details, styles, colors, textiles, and patterns/prints, which are seven attributes of clothes. The corpus was completed through processing synonyms of terms from fashion books such as dictionaries. Finally, 10,294 vocabulary words, including 1,956 standard Korean words, were classified in the taxonomy. All data was then developed into a web dictionary system. Quantitative and qualitative performance tests of the results were conducted through expert reviews. The performance of the thesaurus also was verified by comparing the results of text mining analysis through the previously developed corpus. This study contributes to achieving a text data standard and enables meaningful results of text mining analysis in the fashion field.

Apparel purchase behaviors were investigated for the high school girls grouped by attitude toward fashion. Differences in attitudes toward fashion were also investigated among the groups determined by demographic characteristics. Data were collected by a self-administered questionnaire survey to 600 high school girls living in Seoul, and 480 were used for the data analysis. Cluster analysis, Chi-sguare analysis, ANOVA, and Duncan\`s multiple range test were used for data analysis. Technical school students and those who spending higher amount of monthly allowances showed favorable attitudes toward fashion. Based on the attitudes toward fashion, respondents were classified into 3 groups : fashion-oriented(32.3%), fashion-conformed(47.3%), and unconcerned(20.4%). Among the 3 groups, the Fashion-oriented tended to make purchase decision for clothing based on there own, or peer\`s opinions, to use personal sources for information search, to spend more money for clothing, and to consider design and brand names as the most important criteria when purchasing apparel products than the less fashion-oriented did. Among clothing styles popular to students, the most appropriately perceived for student wear were semi-formal style, and the least appropriate ones were wearing bold colored and patterned underwear for the purpose of showing out. This study tested the validity of the six-factor model of fashion savvy which was modified from the consumer savvy scale developed by Macdonald and Uncles(2007) and explored the relationship between fashion savvy and consumer propensity to observe. Regarding the relationship, it was hypothesized that consumer propensity to observe antecedes fashion savvy. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul metropolitan area, using convenience sampling, and 311 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. In analyzing data, factor analysis and regression were conducted. The findings show the validity of the six factors of fashion savvy, which are fashion sophistication, interpersonal network competency, online network competency, marketing literacy, consumer self-efficacy, and consumer expectations. Tests of the hypothesized relationship show that two factors of consumer propensity to observe influence fashion savvy. More specifically, the 'observing shoppers' factor positively influences all six factors of fashion savvy, whereas the 'following what others buy' factor negatively influences four factors of fashion savvy, fashion sophistication, interpersonal network competency, marketing literacy, and consumer self-efficacy. The implications of these findings and suggestions for future study are also discussed.
This study analyzed consumers' online fashion shopping site usage by site type and analyzed how product information search and product purchase differ. In addition, by comparing and analyzing preference and selection factors of PC and mobile shopping, we tried to provide basic data of effective mobile commerce operation strategy according to expansion of mobile market in fashion industry. We surveyed the use of 6 types of online sites (portal site, open market, general shopping mall, social commerce shopping mall, brand shopping mall and non-brand shopping mall) to understand the usage of mobile shopping site for consumers' fashion products. Consumer survey subjects were 373 college students in their early 20s who had the most mobile shopping experiences. The questionnaire consisted of online fashion site usage items, internet and mobile fashion shopping preference (6 items), internet and mobile shopping choice behavior (10 items), and purchase intention (3 items) .Data were analyzed using SPSS 14.0 program. The high preference of portal sites, open market, social commerce, and non-brand shopping malls in shopping online fashion products is a result of the perceptual changes of major distribution channels and the trends of consumers' value consumption tendency. Therefore, it is necessary for fashion companies to actively cope with fashion product distribution competition with huge shopping sites of current online market by well understanding consumers' preference trends and factors of online sites.
