The factor analysis of e-WOM acception motive extracted two factors: risk reduction and confidence. The factor analysis of e-WOM transmission motive extracted three factors: Compensation/pleasure, advice, and emotion expression. 2. The two motives of e-WOM acception affected acception behavior. Confidence motive affected acception behavior more than risk reduction motive. The three motives of e-WOM transmission motives affected transmission behavior. In the era of COVID-19 and advanced ICT technology, retail technologies such as those that use virtual reality(VR) have been drawing significant attention in the fashion industry. This study investigated the impact of shopping motivation and telepresence on consumer attitude, trust, and behavioral intentions in VR fitting room application environments. An online survey was conducted on female consumers in their 20s and 30s after exploring a VR fitting room application. Overall, 225 responses were used for the analysis. The study demonstrated that usefulness had a significant effect on attitude toward product (ATP) and trust toward app (TTA), while enjoyment had a significant effect on ATP, but did not significantly affect TTA. Telepresence did not significantly affect TTA, but had a significant influence on ATP and behavioral intention. TTA had a significant influence on ATP, and both ATP and TTA had significant effects on behavioral intention. Moreover, the effects of usefulness, enjoyment, and telepresence on ATP, TTA, and behavioral intention were significant, as the self-congruity between consumers and avatars increased. The application of the motivation theory and technology acceptance model offers theoretical perspectives for understanding VR fitting room application users' attitudinal and behavioral responses in mobile shopping environments. In addition, this study provides practical implications to mobile retailers that utilize advanced technologies.

To overcome the pandemic, a new strategy for innovation is in demand throughout the value chains of the fashion industry that emphasize the importance of fashion technology. Accordingly, as various viewpoints and fields of debate are unfolding to consider the direction of change led by fashion technology, it is necessary to make an active value judgment precedent by understanding the differences between various opinions. This study aims to derive keywords from fashion technology used during the pandemic, to infer the characteristics of each type of perspective and to understand their characteristics. For the research, this study combines text mining analysis and content analysis. Text mining analysis is used to find statistical patterns by collecting keywords from big data from online media, and content analysis is used to interpret the data qualitatively. After analyzing the results of this study, the following observations are made. First, the perspective of positive acceptance seeks to maximize the perception and sensory action of fashion through technology; this amplifies experience, an opportunity for innovation and efficiency. Second, critical vigilance highlights the side effects of radical changes in fashion technology, characterized by concerns about capital-centered polarization, threats to human rights, and infringement of creative thinking. Lastly, the perspective of gradual adoption is the gradual convergence of technologies, characterized by the pursuit of an appropriate balance.
This study analyzed the attitude and effect of middle-age women on wearing girdles. Through this examination, we investigated types of girdles worn by middle-age women and compared and analyzed characteristics among types. By identifying middle-age women's need to wear girdles, this study enables effective development of girdles for middle-age women. Middle-age women's types of wearing girdles were analyzed according to three types of women wearing girdles: hate type, wearing preference type and inconvenience acceptance type. The hate type woman is frustrated with wearing a girdle because it impedes blood circulation, digestion, and causes fatigue. The wearing preference type woman wears a girdle to feel psychological satisfaction and self-confidence and thinks that wearing a girdle pushes the abdomen and supports the hip (hip-up effect). Women strongly agreed that body shape is made beautiful and the silhouette of the lower body is made beautiful by wearing a girdle. The inconvenience acceptance type of woman thinks it is inconvenient to wear a girdle, but nevertheless is satisfied with wearing a girdle. Based on findings of this study, development of girdles considering body shapes of middle-age women, development of soft materials and improvements facilitating dressing methods are needed.
This study aimed to enhance public awareness of the growing issue of automobile waste and promote environmental protection by developing visually appealing and innovative clothing designs. By leveraging successful examples of upcycled fashion design and products that could recycle automobile waste, this study proposed four garment designs utilizing various materials such as seat belts, leather seat fabrics, and airbags from automobile waste. Ultimately, two of these garments were produced as physical prototypes. Findings of this study are summarized as follows. This study utilizes social big data to investigate the factors influencing the awareness, attitude, and behavior toward vegan fashion consumption among global and Korean consumers. Social media posts containing the keyword "vegan fashion" were gathered, and meaningful discourse patterns were identified using semantic network analysis and sentiment analysis. The study revealed that diverse factors guide the purchase of vegan fashion products within global consumer groups, while among Korean consumers, the predominant discourse involved the concepts of veganism and ethics, indicating a heightened awareness of vegan fashion. The research then delved into the factors underpinning awareness (comprehension of animal exploitation, environmental concerns, and alternative materials), attitudes (both positive and negative), and behaviors (exploration, rejection, advocacy, purchase decisions, recommendations, utilization, and disposal). Global consumers placed great significance on product-related information, whereas Korean consumers prioritized ethical integrity and reasonable pricing. In addition, environmental issues stemming from synthetic fibers emerged as a significant factor influencing the awareness, attitude, and behavior regarding vegan fashion consumption. Further, this study confirmed the potential presence of cultural disparities influencing overall awareness, attitude, and behavior concerning the acceptance of vegan fashion, and offers insights into vegan fashion marketing strategies tailored to specific cultures, aiming to provide vegan fashion companies and brands with a deeper understanding of their consumer base.
