융복합 시대의 진정성 리더십이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 연구: 상사신뢰 조절효과를 중심으로 (A Study on the Influence of Authentic Leadership in the Age of Convergence on the Organizational Effectiveness: Revolved around Effect of Tuned from Confidence of Superior)

  • 하루가 다르게 변화하고 있는 사회에서 혁신적인 역할을 수행할 수 있는 선도적인 리더의 역할이 그 어느때보다도 중요해지고 있다. 현재와 같이 기술의 융복합 시대에서는 이에 부응 할 수 있는 리더의 역할이 더욱 더 중요해지고 있다. 그러나 리더십에 대한 대부분의 연구들은 특정한 분야의 리더십(변혁적, 거래적)에 초점이 맞추어져 있으며, 진정성 리더십에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 진정성 리더십에 대한 선행연구들에 대하여 고찰을 하고, 이를 통해 현업에 종사하는 종사자들을 대상으로 실증 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과 진정성 리더십은 직무만족, 조직몰입, 조직시민행동에는 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 진정성 리더십이 직무만족과 조직시민행동에 미치는 효과는 상사 신뢰에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.

Antibacterial properties of quinolones

  • New quinolones generally have a broad antibacterial spectrum against gram-positive, gram-negative, glucose-nonfermenting and anaerobic bacteria. Some of newly developed quinolones have potent activities against S. aureus including MRSA, S.pneumoniae including PRSP, B. fragilis, chlamydiae, mycoplasmas and mycobacteria as well, and show good activities against various strains resistant to antibacterial agents of other classes. Quinolones display postantibiotic effects in vitro and are bactericidal at concentrations similar to or twice that of the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) for susceptible pathogens. In experimental murine infection models including systemic infections with various pathogens such as S. aureus, S. pyogenes, S. pneumoniae, E. coli and P. aeruginosa, quinolones have shown good oral efficacy as well as parenteral efficacy. Good oral absorption and good tissue penetration of quinolones account for good therapeutic effects in clinical settings. The target of quinolones are two structurally related type II topoisomerases, DNA gyrase and DNA topoisomerase IV. Quinolones are shown to stabilize the ternary quinolone-gyrase-DNA complex and inhibit the religation of the cleaved double-stranded DNA. Bacteria can acquire resistance to quinolones by mutations of these target enzymes. Mutation sites and amino acid changes in DNA gyrase and DNA topoisomerase IV are similar in the organisms examined, suggesting that the mechanism of quinolone resistance in the target enzymes is essentially the same among various organisms. Quinolones act on both the target enzymes to different degrees depending on the organisms or agents tested, and bacteria become highly resistant to quinolones in a step-wise fashion. Incomplete cross-resistance among quinolones in some strains of E. coli and S. aureus suggests the possibility of finding quinolones active against quinolone-resistant strains which are prevailing now. To find such quinolones, the potency toward two target enzymes and the membrane permeability including influx and/or efflux systems should be taken into account.

Systemic Analysis of a Novel Coxsackievirus Gene Delivery System in a Mouse Model

  • In order to systemically investigate the possibility of using coxsackievirus B3 (CVB3) to deliver foreign genes in vivo, a recombinant strain of CVB3 encoding the renilla gene (CVB3-renilla) was constructed. The recombinant CVB3 resulted in extensive and transient expression of the renilla protein within mouse organs, especially the pancreas. The level of expression was generally dependent upon the viral titer present. Moreover, the CVB3-renilla strain was completely attenuated. Interestingly, the recombinant CVB3 vector was expressed much more strongly in mouse organs than was a comparable adenoviral vector. The CVB3-renilla strain did not express the renilla gene in mice with pre-existing coxsackievirus-specific neutralizing antibodies, but direct organ-specific administration of the virus during open-peritoneum surgery was able to circumvent this immunity. This coxsackievirus vector may represent a useful means for delivering and expressing foreign genes in mouse models in an acute and extensive fashion.

  • Achieving the beneficiary goal of recent discovery in human genome project still needs a way to retrieve and analyze the exponentially expanding bio-related information. Research on bio-related fields naturally applies knowledge discovered to the current problem and make inferences to extract new information where shared concepts and data containing information need to be defined and used in a coherent way. In such a professional domain, while the need to help users reduce their work and to improve search results has been emerged, methods for systematic retrieval and adequate exchange of relevant information are still in their infancy. The design of our system aims at improving the quality of information retrieval in a professional domain by utilizing both corpus-based and concept-based ontology. Meta-rules of helping users to make an adequate query are formed into an ontology in the domain. The integration of those knowledge permits the system to retrieve relevant information in a more semantic and systematic fashion. This work mainly describes the query models with details of GUI and a secondary query generation of the system.

  • 효과적인 시각화는 일반적으로 대용량의 디버깅 정보와 프로그램의 추상적 수행모델을 표현하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 스레드들간의 논리적 병행성 관계를 나타내는 부분순서 수행그래프를 이용하여 내포병렬성과 임계구역을 가진 OpenMP 병렬 프로그램의 수행양상과 경합정보의 효과적 디버깅을 위해서 효과적으로 제공하는 추상적 시각화 도구를 제안한다. 본 도구는 수행중 추적선택 기법으로 시각화 정보를 위한 공간적 복잡성을 줄이고, 추적된 시각화 정보에 프로그램의 내포병렬성과 임계구역 동기화를 위한 그래프 추상화를 제공하여 시각적 복잡성을 해결한다. 그래프 추상화를 통한 스레드들간의 부분순서 관계와 경합탐지 정보는 프로그램의 제어흐름과 경합의 위치를 구조적으로 파악할 수 있게 하므로 프로그램 수행의 이해와 경합 탐지 및 수정에 효과적이다.

Density Functional Theory (DFT) Study of Gas-phase O.C Bond Dissociation Energy of Models for o-TEMPO-Bz-C(O)-Peptide: A Model Study for Free Radical Initiated Peptide Sequencing

  • The bond dissociation energy (BDE) of the chemical bond between the carbon and oxygen atoms of a simple TEMPO-derivative is calculated by employing the density functional theory, the $2^{nd}$ order M${\phi}$ller-Plesset (MP2) perturbation theory, and complete basis set (CBS) methods. We find that BDE of the positive ion of the TEMPO-derivative is larger at least by 7 kcal/mol than that of the negative ion, which implies that the dissociation reaction rate of the positive ion should be slower than that of the negative ion. Such theoretical predictions are contrary to the results of our previous experiments (Anal. Chem. 2013, 85, 7044), in which the larger energy was required for negative o-TEMPO-Bz-C(O)-peptides to undergo the dissociation reactions than for the positive ones. By comparing our theoretical results to those of the experiments, we conclude that the dissociation reaction of o-TEMPO-Bz-C(O)-peptide should occur in a complicated fashion with a charge, either positive or negative, probably being located on the amino acid residues of the peptide.

A Sketch-based 3D Object Retrieval Approach for Augmented Reality Models Using Deep Learning

  • Retrieving a 3D model from a 3D database and augmenting the retrieved model in the Augmented Reality system simultaneously became an issue in developing the plausible AR environments in a convenient fashion. It is considered that the sketch-based 3D object retrieval is an intuitive way for searching 3D objects based on human-drawn sketches as query. In this paper, we propose a novel deep learning based approach of retrieving a sketch-based 3D object as for an Augmented Reality Model. For this work, we introduce a new method which uses Sketch CNN, Wasserstein CNN and Wasserstein center loss for retrieving a sketch-based 3D object. Especially, Wasserstein center loss is used for learning the center of each object category and reducing the Wasserstein distance between center and features of the same category. The proposed 3D object retrieval and augmentation consist of three major steps as follows. Firstly, Wasserstein CNN extracts 2D images taken from various directions of 3D object using CNN, and extracts features of 3D data by computing the Wasserstein barycenters of features of each image. Secondly, the features of the sketch are extracted using a separate Sketch CNN. Finally, we adopt sketch-based object matching method to localize the natural marker of the images to register a 3D virtual object in AR system. Using the detected marker, the retrieved 3D virtual object is augmented in AR system automatically. By the experiments, we prove that the proposed method is efficiency for retrieving and augmenting objects.

한.미 여대생의 신체적 자아개념에 따른 의류잡지 광고태도 (Korean and U.S. Female College Students Attitudes toward Apparel Advertisement in Magazines According to Physical Self-concept)

  • The present study attempted to compare the behavioral patterns and attitudes of American and Korean female students toward apparel ads in magazines in relation to their physical self-concept. The study used a self-administered questionnaire. The sample consisted of 730 female students majoring in the fields related to clothing and textiles : 310 American students at six colleges and universities located in the west, northeast and southwest parts of the U.S., and 412 Korean students at four Seoul-based universities. Likert scales were used for most measures with 1=never or very unimportant and 5 =always or very important. Physical self-concept was measured on the basis of W. S. Jung's Standardized Self-concept Test and Tennessee Self-concept Scale. Surreys were back translated for validity. Percentage, t-test, Contingency Tables and Chi-square were used for the analysis of the data. Results are as follows : (1) Korean students read more magazines than U.S. students, however, Vogue was the most popular for both groups. (2) Those with a high sense of Physical self-concept read more magazines. for both countries. (3) American students'attitudes toward apparel ads in magazines were similar, regardless of whether their sense of physical self-concept was high or low. For Koreans, those with higher sense of physical self-concept showed greater interest in magazine ads, consulted magazines for fashion trends, found ads more useful, and more often expressed satisfaction with the ads, than the lower self-concept group. (4) Korean students cited a lack of information in ads while American students felt body types of models were unrealistic. Both Koreans and Americans in the higher self-concept group expressed a greater level of dissatisfaction with apparel ads in magazines. (5) Advertisers should attempt to again a deeper understanding of the socio-psychological characteristics of their readership as self-concept appears to be related to several magazine readership attitudes and behaviors. Magazines targeting Americans might consider the importance of coordination and merchandising. Apparel ads targeting Korean should consider the importance of company ads.

  • 본 연구는 섬유 소재에 IT기술을 적용하는 디지털 의류 제품 중 하나로 여성 재킷에 MP3기능을 내장시켜 상용화 할 수 있는 디자인 모형을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 선행 연구 고찰 및 5가지 MP3 기능 스마트 의류 초기 모형의 착의 평가 및 사용성 평가 결과를 반영하여, MP3 입력장치 및 모듈의 위치, 이어폰선과 신호선의 경로 등을 최적화하고 직물 기반의 신호선과 입력 장치를 이용함으로써 사용자 중심의 인터페이스와 사용성 및 동적 착용성을 갖춘 MP3 기능 스마트 재킷의 상용화 모형을 개발하였다. 이는 10대 후반부터 20대 초반까지의 여성복 시장을 겨냥한 것으로 최근의 패션 트렌드와 소비자의 감성적 만족도 그리고 디지털 의류 제품으로서의 가치를 고려해 볼 때 상품적 효용이 매우 높을 것으로 예측된다.

Thwarting Sybil Attackers in Reputation-based Scheme in Mobile Ad hoc Networks

  • Routing in mobile ad hoc networks is performed in a distributed fashion where each node acts as host and router, such that it forwards incoming packets for others without relying on a dedicated router. Nodes are mostly resource constraint and the users are usually inclined to conserve their resources and exhibit selfish behaviour by not contributing in the routing process. The trust and reputation models have been proposed to motivate selfish nodes for cooperation in the packet forwarding process. Nodes having bad trust or reputation are detected and secluded from the network, eventually. However, due to the lack of proper identity management and use of non-persistent identities in ad hoc networks, malicious nodes can pose various threats to these methods. For example, a malicious node can discard the bad reputed identity and enter into the system with another identity afresh, called whitewashing. Similarly, a malicious node may create more than one identity, called Sybil attack, for self-promotion, defame other nodes, and broadcast fake recommendations in the network. These identity-based attacks disrupt the overall detection of the reputation systems. In this paper, we propose a reputation-based scheme that detects selfish nodes and deters identity attacks. We address the issue in such a way that, for normal selfish nodes, it will become no longer advantageous to carry out a whitewash. Sybil attackers are also discouraged (i.e., on a single battery, they may create fewer identities). We design and analyse our rationale via game theory and evaluate our proposed reputation system using NS-2 simulator. The results obtained from the simulation demonstrate that our proposed technique considerably diminishes the throughput and utility of selfish nodes with a single identity and selfish nodes with multiple identities when compared to the benchmark scheme.
