Introduction Community medicine with the concept of comprehensive medical care and an ideal medical care delivery system not only for an individual or family but for the whole community has emerged. In April 1970, the Presbyterian Medical Center started a hospital based community health service project in order to improve the health of the people in rural areas. • This research explores the relationship between gender equity within family and second birth in Korea. For a factor analysis on the intention of having additional children for women with one child, I have used the data from the 2005 National Survey on Marriage and Fertility Trend" of the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs. Among 516 samples(year of 20-44), women planning to have second birth are 54.7%, and others have answered that they have no intention to have second birth. As a result, main causes affecting progressing to second birth seemed to be family planning on family cycle, such as controlling age gaps between first and second child, composing children genders as they wish etc. The variable of "gender equity between couples" in progressing to second birth are of significant only with married working women group. In case of married working women, more the husband's houseworking hours increase, the more prone to progress to second birth. However, in case of housewives, gender equity level, such as husband's housework hours or share of housework are not of significant influence in progressing to second birth. Not only working mothers but also housewives need the realization of gender equity within the family and the expansion of social support system for work-family life balance.

For that, this study surveyed 139 apartment complex cases which were sold from December 2002 to December 2005. When Hwasung Dongtan apartment complex was sold in 2004, there were a lot of attempts in various quarters, especially in unit planning and eco-friendly design. Accordingly, it is worthy that analyzing the trend before and after of 2004. As a result, the trend has been moving from 'convenient and high class' to 'LOHAS, one-stop living, convergency, and residents' satisfaction' because leasure and well-living have been the purpose of their living. Therefore, we can predict that B.I. and design identity would be more important, and various contents would be created for residents' community and private life.

  • The purpose of this study was to test a causal model of subjective financial well-being. The data of this research was obtained from 660wives who lived in Seoul, 1996. Major findings of this study were at follows: 1. Both employed and unemployed wives, younger managers were more likely to have a higher cohesion and adaptability between spouses. For the unemployed wives, locus of control over managers’financial situation and perception of gap between standard and level of living were significant predictors of the personal subsystem. 2. In both groups, financial planning was positively influenced by amount of saving. But amount of saving was not significant predictor of financial implementing. Financial implementing was positively influenced by locus of control, in the unemployed wives. For the employed wives, predictors of financial implementing were family income and marriage duration. 3. For the employed wives, the effect of personal and managerial subsystem on subjective financial well-being was greater than unemployed wives. 4. It was found that personal and managerial subsystems had effect on subjective financial well-being. Thus, the path model designed in this research was found to be proven for employed and unemployed wives.
