낙동강 주요 지류의 오염특성 분석을 위한 다변량 통계기법의 적용 (Application of Multivariate Statistical Techniques to Analyze the Pollution Characteristics of Major Tributaries of the Nakdong River)

  • 본 연구에서는 낙동강 주요 지류를 대상으로 상관분석, 주성분 및 요인분석, 군집분석과 같은 통계분석을 통해 수질 특성을 분석하였다. 유기물질과 영양물질은 높은 상관관계를 가지고 있으며 봄철 및 가을철에 높게 나와 해당 계절에 대한 집중적인 수질 관리가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 주성분 및 요인분석 결과 전체 분산의 82%를 유기물질, 영양물질, 자연, 기상 등 4개의 주성분으로 설명할 수 있으며 BOD, COD, TOC, TP 항목이 주요 영향요인으로 분석되었다. 군집분석 결과 계절별 유기물, 영양물질의 오염도를 고려하여 4개의 군집으로 분류하였으며 금호강 유역은 사계절 높은 오염특성을 나타내고 있었다. 따라서 지류 하천의 효과적인 수질 관리를 위해서는 시공간적 특성을 고려한 대책이 필요하며 다변량 통계기법은 수질 관리 및 정책 수립에서 유용하게 활용 가능할 것으로 분석되었다.

연안어업 요소생산성에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Analysis on Factor Productivity of Coastal Fishery)

  • This paper aims to propose a new systematic approach to analyze the factor productivity and to investigate those characteristics of factor productivity in operational and managerial perspectives. The Cobb-Douglas production function is adopted to estimate the labor and capital productivity. In estimating those productivities the data of The Research on the Actual Condition of Coastal Fisheries (RACF), especially those of Jeon-Nam Province are used. The statistical analysis of RACF data shows that the characteristics are a little bit different between labor and capital of the operational equipment in the coastal fisheries. The Cobb-Douglas type production function is useful in estimating the factor productivity, especially in case of 'coastal Stow-net fishery' even though the limited data is used. However, in case of 'trap fishery,' the Cobb-Douglas production function appears to have some limitations in estimation. This implies that estimating the factor productivities in fisheries employing broad perspectives and various methods are needed.

Factor of safety in limit analysis of slopes

  • The factor of safety is the most common measure of the safety margin for slopes. When the traditionally defined factor is used in kinematic approach of limit analysis, calculations can become elaborate, and iterative methods have to be used. To avoid this inconvenience, the safety factor was defined in terms of the work rates that are part of the work balance equation used in limit analysis. It was demonstrated for two simple slopes that the safety factors calculated according to the new definition fall close to those calculated using the traditional definition. Statistical analysis was carried out to find out whether, given normal distribution of the strength parameters, the distribution of the safety factor can be approximated with a well-defined probability density function. Knowing this function would make it convenient to calculate the probability of failure. The results indicated that the normal distribution could be used for low internal friction angle (up to about $16^{\circ}$) and the Johnson distribution could be used for larger angles ${\phi}$. The data limited to two simple slopes, however, does not allow assuming these distributions a priori for other slopes.

  • It is increased electrical energy consumption with the development of intelligence society in office buildings and thus an energy conservation through efficient use of electricity became more important. This paper shows a reasonable design demand factor in office buildings, that was made by the systematic and statistical way considering actual conditions, such as investigated electric equipment capacity, peak power consumption, demand factor, etc., for 132 office buildings. In this dissertation, it is necessary to analyze the key features and general trend from the investigated data. It made an analysis of the feature parameters, such as average, standard deviation, median, maximum, minimun and thus it was carried linear and nonlinear regression analysis.

  • Recently, need for the development of the quantification of subjective evaluation is growing for the production of high-touch and high-tech textile products. In this study, Fuzzy theory is utilized for the evaluation of the wear comfort of the various blouses. Result of a new evaluation method and factor scores, validity of the new evalution technique adopted fuzzy theory was crosschecked with the results of fator analysis and factor scores. As results, fuzzy theory was proved to be adequate methodology to objectify the subjective evaluation of the adequacy of clothing which is worn. When DUNCAN'S multiple comparion among median of the fuzzy composite score were compared with the results of factor score, the sensitivity of the test methods tends to increase. Therefore, it is suggested that fuzzy weighted checklist is an alternative evaluation scale for the subjective comparison of the textile products. In addition, individual median of fuzzy composite score value should be treated by statistical for the sensitive analysis of subjective evalution.

  • The purposes of this study is to investigate the factor structure of web-site characteristics and antecedents factors affected to trust, satisfaction and behavioral intention of web-site. Refined data were consisted of 4 internet shopping mall survey and estimated the perception to visiting web site. Statistical methods are adapted Frequency, Factor Analysis and CFA(Confirmatory Factor Analysis) of LISREL. 8 program. Research findings are as follows. The factors of web characteristics indicated to product information/buying procedure clarification, stability and function of system, usability of web site, security and protection of individual information, design, clarification of enterpriser information, various payment methods and customer service. In regression analysis, dependent variables were trust, satisfaction and behavioral intention. reputation of site were significantly effected variables. External variables consisted of the 4 characteristics of web-site and reputation and trust, satisfaction and behavioral intention were internal factor.

PSC Beam교의 실측실험을 반영한 한계상태설계법 기반 교량 평가법 적용 분석 (Analysis on Application of Limit State Design Method for Bridge Evaluation Considering PSC Beam Bridge Experiment Results)

  • 본 연구에서는 한계상태설계법에 기반한 교량 평가법을 개발하기 위하여, 공용 중인 교량의 실측실험을 반영하여 적용성을 분석하였다. 예제 PSC Beam 실 교량의 부재 실험 결과로부터 부재의 시험강도를 구하였으며, 재료 시험값으로부터 추정된 통계특성을 적용하여 산정된 저항강도와 시험강도를 비교하였다. 부재의 시험강도와 재료의 변동성을 고려한 저항강도는 동등한 수준으로 계산되어 실측실험의 적합성이 검증되었다. 차량재하시험으로부터 응답보정계수와 동적충격계수를 계산하였으며, 실측실험 결과를 반영한 내하율을 적용하여 현행 교량 평가법과 한계상태설계법 기반으로 산정된 내하율을 비교하였다. 재료 시험값의 통계특성으로부터 추정된 부재 저항강도의 통계특성을 적용하여 실 교량의 신뢰도지수를 계산하였다. 설계기준 개발에 적용한 저항강도 통계특성으로 구한 신뢰도지수보다 실측실험의 통계특성을 적용하는 경우 더 큰 값의 신뢰도지수를 얻었다.

한국 성인 여성 머리 유형분류와 입체적 분석 (Classification of Head Shape and 3-dimensional Analysis for Korean Women)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify the head shape for the apparel industry and to suggest standard head model for korean women. The 23 measurement items of 891 females, aged more than 18 years were used to analysis by statistical methods. Factor analysis, cluster analysis and duncan test were performed using these data. Through factor analysis, 5 factors were extracted upon factor scores and those factors comprised 68.76% for the total variances. 5 clusters as their head and face shape were categorized. We decided for the type 3 to standard head shape. 24 participants were measured using computed tomography(CT). The measured data of skin and skeleton and the standard head shapes were illustrated.

패스트 패션 브랜드에 대한 소비자 의사결정 연기의 선행변수 (Antecedents of consumers' decision postponement on purchasing fast fashion brands)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the antecedents of consumers' decision postponement on purchasing fast fashion brands. Ongoing search behavior, overchoice confusion, and similarity confusion were considered as antecedents. It was hypothesized that ongoing search behavior influences decision postponement both directly and indirectly through overchoice confusion and similarity confusion. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul, using convenience sampling. Three hundred five questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis, which were exploratory factor analysis using SPSS and confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis using AMOS. Factor analysis proved that ongoing search behavior, overchoice confusion, similarity confusion, and decision postponement were uni-dimensions. Tests of the hypothesized path proved that ongoing search behavior influences decision postponement indirectly through overchoice confusion. In addition, similarity confusion influences decision postponement. The results suggest some confusion reduction strategies for marketers of fast fashion brands. Suggestions for future study are also discussed.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a large representative data base for jeans marketing strategy. This study was to survey brand awareness and analyze brand image and consumer's seeking image. The 700 questionnaires were distributed and 656 reliable ones were used for statistical analysis. A SAS statistical package including frequency table, factor analysis, analysis of variance, Duncan's multiple range test, Peason's correlation test was used. The results are as follows: 1. Brand awareness involves "brand recall" based on asking a person to name recalled first, and "brand recognition" based on asking to identify brand name from 30 given brands. The result indicated that "Levi" was dominant for brand recall and Guess was dominant for brand recognition. 2. Regarding the brand image, the result showed that "Vov" was best represented for sophisticated 8t trendy brand images, "Storm" for sophisticated brand image, "Jambangee" for reasonable price & comfortable brand images, and "Levis" for classic & design/color brand images. 3. As a result of factor analysis on consumer's seeking image, six factors(characteristic/gay, intelligent/sexy, feminine/sophisticated, active/functional, cute/young, simple/comfortable) were found. Several factors had a relationship with demographic variables, preferred design, fashion interest.
