실내·외 블라인드의 Slat 반사율에 따라 창호 일사투과량 및 그에 따른 벽체 대류열획득량 분석 (A Study on Change in Window Transmitted Solar and the Resultant Wall Surface Convective Heat Gain with Regard to Slat Reflectance of External and Internal Blinds)

  • Nowadays, to make buildings light weight and aesthetically pleasing, curtain wall structure are commonly used. Therefore, window to wall ratio is increasing, which has caused cooling and heating load in crease in buildings as well. This phenomenon has negative impact from energy point of view. This paper analyzes window and wall convective heat gain when the slat reflectance of external and internal blinds are changed for the better understanding of the fundamentals behind the phenomena. It was observed that, if slat reflectance is increased, window transmitted solar increases and convection heat rate is clearly affected. Among six surfaces including four walls, ceiling and floor, maximum convection heat rate occurs on the south wall in summer. On the other hand, ceiling and floor showed the lowest convection heat gain, since they are shared by adjacent floors.

DCT 질감 블록 계수를 이용한 강인한 블라인드 워터마킹 (Robust Blind Watermarking using DCT Texture Block Coefficient)

  • 본 논문은 DCT 질감블록계수를 이용한 강인한 블라인드 워터마킹을 제안하였다. 제안 방법에서는 다양한 외부 공격에 강인하도록 하기 위해서 $8\times8$ 블록 DCT 주파수 영역 계수 값의 절대값을 이용한 질감 블록 계수를 기준으로 $8\times8$ 블록 DCT의 직류성분에 모든 워터마크를 삽입하였다. 제안 방법의 성능을 확인하기 위해서 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 수행한 결과 제안 방법이 기존의 방법보다 비가시성 측면 및 다양한 외부 공격인 Dithering, Scaling, Cropping에서 매우 강인함을 확인하였다.

  • In korea, PV business has been growing fast since 2000. There are many ways to build PV System. Among them, BIPV(Building Integrated Photovoltaic) System using PV Modules as external wall has been carried out research on and invested much. Thus I will suggest another way to apply the BIPV System. This System is Eco System designed to consume little energy working the blind by the power that the BIPV System generates. I will show you how to make and apply this BIPV System.

차양장치의 겨울철 천공복사 냉각 저감 효과에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Reduction Effects of Shading Devices on Sky Radiant Cooling in Winter)

  • 외부 차양장치는 대표적인 여름철 일사조절 장치이다. 특히 냉방부하가 높은 업무용 건물에 적합한 기술로 인식되어왔다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 차양장치의 냉방부하 저감뿐만 아니라 난방부하 저감 효과를 검증하기 위한 실험을 수행하였다. 이를 위해 겨울철 야간 천공복사냉각에 따른 영향을 중심으로 일반 창호, 롤 블라인드, 외부 차양장치를 대상으로 실험을 수행하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 외부 차양장치가 적용된 경우 유리 내·외표면 온도차는 평균 11.8℃로 차양장치가 없는 경우의 14.6℃ 보다 평균 2.8℃ 낮은 온도차를 나타냈으며, 이는 천공복사에 의한 열교환으로 차양 표면온도가 외기온도보다 낮은 시간때에 발생한다. 한편, 롤 블라인드는 내부 중공층의 평균온도보다 0.8℃ 낮은 온도를 나타냈으며 이 또한 투과체를 통과한 천공복사가 롤 블라인드 표면과 열교환이 이뤄졌기 때문이다. 유리 외부 표면온도만을 고려하면 약 3℃ 이상의 온도 상승이 예상된다. 그리고 차양장치가 없는 경우 일반적인 온도구배를 나타내고 있었다. 한편 남동향과 남서향에 외부 차양장치가 설치되었을 때 남서향의 외측 유리 표면온도가 더 낮게 나타나는 특징이 있다. 이 결과는 천공복사에 의한 냉방 저감 효과를 정량화할 수는 없지만 적어도 타당성은 확인할 수 있었다. 향후 연구에서는 천공복사 냉각과 에너지 소비 사이의 상관관계를 조사하고 외부 차양장치의 난방에너지 절감 효과에 대한 독립 챔버 실험을 진행할 계획이다.

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to investigate the results of preceding research related external treatment for Atopic dermatitis(AD). Methods : We studied the 13 research papers that had been published in The Journal of Korean Oriental Medical Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology & Dermatology, The Journal of Korean Oriental Pediatrics, The Journal of Korean Oriental Internal Medicine, The Journal of Korean Oriental Medicine, Korean Journal of Oriental Physiology & Pathology and so on. Results : About 13 treatises, 3 treatises were for the literatual study, I treatise was for the clinical research about the effects of external therapy, 3 treatises were for the effects of herbal medicine along with external treatment on AD development in NC/Nga mice, 6 treatises were for the case of AD. Conclusion : These treatises showed that external treatment is effective method to improve AD. To develop the better external treatment on AD, we have need of studies on the well used prescriptions and herbs through double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled methods, clinic research and so on.

족부 X선 검사에서 주상골 관찰에 용이한 Tibia-Foot angle과 X-ray tube 각도에 대한 연구 (Study of Suitable Angle of Tibia-Foot and X-ray Tube for Navicular in Foot X-ray Examination)

  • 본 연구는 영상의학과에 내원한 족부환자를 대상으로 족부 X선 검사 시 주상골(navicular)의 관찰이 어려운 점을 바탕으로 환자의 position과 X선관 각도의 변화를 주어 어떠한 position과 X선관 각도에서 주상골의 관찰이 용이한지를 알아보고자 하였다. 주상골 관찰을 위해 실험대상자의 position은 Foot AP, internal oblique, external Oblique position의 세 가지로 하였다. T-F angle(Tibia-Foot angle)은 $90^{\circ}$$135^{\circ}$로 정의하였고, X선관 각도는 $0^{\circ}$, $5^{\circ}$, $10^{\circ}$, $15^{\circ}$, $20^{\circ}$, $25^{\circ}$로 정의하여 실험한 후 획득한 영상을 비교 평가하였다. 실험결과, Foot AP position에서 T-F angle이 $90^{\circ}$인 경우 X선관 각도가 $15^{\circ}$일 때 설상골과 주상골의 겹침 정도는 3%이었고 블라인드 테스트 결과는 4.89점으로 골절의 판독 용이성이 가장 높았으며, T-F angle이 $135^{\circ}$경우에는 X선관 각도가 $15^{\circ}$일 때 설상골과 주상골의 겹침 정도는 5%이었고 블라인드 테스트 결과는 4.30점으로 판독 용이성이 가장 높았다. Foot internal oblique position에서는 T-F angle이 $90^{\circ}$인 경우 X선관 각도가 $0^{\circ}$일 때 설상골과 주상골의 겹침 정도는 4%이었고 블라인드 테스트 결과는 4.70점으로 가장 높았으며, T-F angle이 $135^{\circ}$경우에는 X선관 각도가 $0^{\circ}$일 때 그 겹침 정도는 5%이었고 블라인드 테스트 결과는 4.55점으로 가장 높게 나타났다. Foot external oblique position에서 T-F angle이 $90^{\circ}$인 경우 X선관 각도가 $15^{\circ}$일 때 설상골과 주상골의 겹침 정도는 4%이었고 블라인드 테스트 결과는 4.85점으로 가장 높았으며, T-F angle이 $135^{\circ}$경우에는 X선관 각도가 $15^{\circ}$일 때 그 겹침 정도는 5%이었고 블라인드 테스트 결과는 4.75점으로 가장 높게 나타났다. 결론적으로, 본 연구를 통하여 X 선 족부검사에서 각 position에 해당하는 주상골 관찰에 용이한 T-F 각도와 X선관 각도를 확인할 수 있었으며, 향후 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 주상골 골절 판독에 유용한 참고자료가 될 수 있을 것으로 여겨진다.

Influence of stiffeners on the performance of blind-bolt end-plate connections to CFST columns

  • The paper aims to investigate the mechanical mechanism and seismic effect of stiffeners in blind bolt endplate connection to CFST column. A precise 3D finite element model with considering the cyclic properties of concrete and steel materials was established, and the efficiency was validated through monotonic and cyclic test data. The deforming pattern and the seismic performance of the unstiffened and stiffened blind bolt endplate connections were investigated. Then a parametric analysis was conducted to analyze the contribution of stiffeners and the joint working behaviors with endplate under cyclic load. The joint stiffness classifications were compared and a supplement stiffness classification method was proposed, and the energy dissipation ability of different class connections were compared and discussed. Results indicated that the main deformation pattern of unstiffened blind bolt endplate connections was the local bending of end plate. The vertical stiffeners can effectively alleviate the local bending deformation of end plate. And influence of stiffeners in thin endplate and thick endplate was different. Based on the stiffness of external diaphragm welded connection, a more detailed rigidity classification was proposed which included the pin, semi-rigid, quasi-rigid and rigid connection. Beam was the main energy dissipation source for rigid connection. For the semi-rigid and quasi-rigid connection, the extended endplate, stiffeners and steel beam would all participate in the energy dissipation.

창면적비 및 향변화에 따른 슬랫형 블라인드의 최적각도 제어 알고리즘 산출 및 비교분석 (Development and comparative analysis of slat angle control algorithm of venetian blind according to window-to-wall ratio and zone orientation)

  • Purpose: Most contemporary office buildings supply external views, a sense of openness and a sense of time to their occupants by adopting the curtain walls, which are equipped with an outer cover having large window area. As a result, the amount of radiation increases, adversely affecting cooling load during the summer in office buildings. Although solar radiation decreases heating load and reduces energy costs during the winter period, due to the characteristics of offices where occupants work largely during daytime, the cooling load is important compared to the heating. Therefore, diverse measures to resolve those trade-offs and annual energy cost have been investigated. Method: In this study, the annual thermal load was comparatively analyzed according to the slat angle of the venetian blind along with lighting control technique. Result: After selecting effective conditions, in order to resolve such issues, this study established automated control strategies of slat angle depending on the window-to-wall ratio and zone orientation, so that the findings of this study can be effectively generalized to other circumstances.

학교 건물에서 외부 차양 장치 유형에 따른 일반교실 내 빛환경 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Daylighting Environment in Classroom of an School Building Due to the External Shading Devices)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the characteristics of daylighting environment in classroom of an school building due to the external shading devices such as fixed louvers, light shelves and exterior venetian blinds. In this study, we have made a field research with regard to the facade design in classroom of an school building. And we have made a classification of external shading devices considering the design parameters. Finally, through RADIANCE simulation, we have calculated the spatial distribution of illuminance, uniformity ratio of illuminance and daylight factors. The results of this study will provide the building designer with the basic daylighting performance data at early design stages.

독립 외부 회계 감사가 병원 미보상 진료 공급에 미치는 영향: 미국 캘리포니아 병원 데이터를 중심으로 (The Effects of Independent External Financial Audit on Uncompensated Care Provision)

  • 1) Purpose: The goal of this study is to examine the association between independent external financial audits and uncompensated care. Not-for-profit hospitals are required to provide uncompensated care in return for tax exemption. These tax exemption benefits are applied to all activities that contribute to the enhancement of uncompensated care. However, some researchers argue not-for-profit hospitals do not provide uncompensated care as expected by their tax exemption. Thus, this paper examines whether independent external financial audits can help the not-for-profit hospitals to function as designed and ultimately for meeting the objectives of the not-for-profit organization, which are the clearest examples of charitable activities performed by not-for-profit hospitals. 2) Methodology: Panel data analysis was utilized with fixed effect using California hospital financial data from 2002 to 2011. 3) Findings: We found that hospitals receiving independent external financial audits provide more uncompensated care than their counterparts which do not receive audits. 4) Practical Implications: Not-for-profit hospitals provide uncompensated care to people in welfare blind spots. Therefore, they fulfill what governments cannot afford, and play a social role as a ʻnonprofitʼ organization with independent external financial audits.
