철강산업 전자상거래 활성화를 위한 영향 요인 분석 (A Study on factors for steel industry e-Commerce)

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the current state of e-commerce for corporations in the steel industry and to analyze the factors that led failure in active use of e-commerce. Data from 51 companies are col looted. Factors that affect the e-commerce adoption and use of were analyzed. The influence of e-commerce utilization on corporate performance was also examined. It was found that several factors known to influence e-commerce use in the steel industry such as transact ion methods, preferences, and the level of information-orientation, did not actually have a significant impact. Rather items such as the maturity of e-commerce experience and perceptual compatibility between product characteristics and e-commerce turned out to have a significant influence on the utilization levels of e-commerce. The level of e-commerce utilization in system had a significant impact on each of the three performance dimensions : internal performance, external performance and financial performance.

  • 개발도상국의 기술학습 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인으로서 기존의 기술경제적 요인들 외에 국제정치적 요인을 외부환경요소에 포함시키고 이들 국제정치적 요인들이 기술학습내부 성과에 어떻게 영향을 미치는 지를 분석하였다. 개도국의 기술학습이 국제정치적으로 영향을 받을 때 기술능력의 진화경로는 점진적으로 축적되지 않았으며 기술적 노력의 과정도 자율적으로 추진될 수 없었다. 강대국의 국제정치적 간섭을 줄이기 위하여, 개도국은 기술 능력 획득을 위한 지속적 노력과 함께 기술학습의 산업적 타당성을 높이는 것이 중요하게 제시되었다.

  • In order to execute the major role as the high density large capacity data storage device, which is one of the major characteristics of DVD(Digital Versatile Disk), there must be a method to effectively absorb the external impact or internal vibration. The DVD which has been developed until now tries to control two different types of vibrations, using only one absorber. But this goes against the independence Axiom of Axiomatic Approach which makes the design to be coupled. And in fat most of the malfunctions occurring during DVD data input/output is due to impact or vibration. Therefore in this paper, the vibration absorption system and operation reliability of DVD will be evaluated with the Axiomatic Approach and plans and feasibility to design an improved vibration absorption system will be provided also based on the Axiomatic Approach.

Estimation of Effective Dose to Residents Due to Hypothetical Accidents During Dismantling of Steam Generator

  • The potential impact of hypothetical accidents that occur during the immediate and deferred dismantling of the Kori Unit 1 steam generator has been comprehensively evaluated. The evaluation includes determining the inventory of radionuclides in the Steam Generator based on surface contamination measurements, assuming a rate of release for each accident scenario, and applying external and internal exposure dose coefficients to assess the effects of radionuclides on human health. The evaluation also includes calculating the atmospheric dispersion factor using the PAVAN code and analyzing three years of meteorological data from Kori NPP to determine the degree of diffusion of radionuclides in the atmosphere. Overall, the effective dose for residents living in the Exclusion Area Boundary (EAB) of Kori NPP is predicted, an it is found that the maximum level of the dose is 0.034% compared to the annual dose limit of 1 mSv for the general public. This implies that the potential impact of hypothetical accidents on human health discussed above is within acceptable limits.

실린더 구조물을 설치한 탱크 내부의 슬로싱 하중과 유동 특성 (Characteristics of sloshing load and flow inside a tank with cylinder structures)

  • Sloshing of the fluid having a free surface produces an impact force on a tank wall subjected to external excitation. This paper investigates the effect of cylindrical structures in a rectangular sloshing tank under translational harmonic excitations. By varying the number of installed cylinders in the tank, the characteristics of the free-surface deformation is experimentally observed, and the peak pressure on the tank wall is extracted by threshold values. To predict the peak pressure, the numerical simulation is also conducted using smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH), and the peak values are compared with the experimental results. Furthermore, pressure and velocity fields in the tank and free-surface shape are analyzed at the moment of impact.

Simulating the impact of iodine as a contrast substance to enhance radiation to the tumor in a brain x-rayphototherapy

  • The influence of adding iodine as a contrast substance to elevate radiation in a tumor is studied using simulation techniques of Monte-Carlo. The study is carried on a brain cancer by adopting an unsophisticated head phantom. The ionizing radiation source is an external beam of x-rays with energy range of a few tens of keV. The expected radiation dose increment due to adding the iodine is investigated by comparing the radiation in the tumor after and before adding the iodine and calculating the ratio between the two doses. Several concentrations of the contrast substance are used to quantify its impact. The change of the dose increment with the source energy is also examined. It is found that the radiation elevation in the tumor tends to saturate with increasing the iodine concentration, and for the studied domain of energies (30 keV-100 keV), the radiation dose enhancement factors (RDEF) for the different iodine concentrations (1%-9%) show peaked curves, with the peak occurring between 60 keV and 70 keV. For the highest concentration studied, 9%, the peak value is almost 7.

Success Factors of Paris Baguette's Bakery Franchise Business: Industry Competition and Core Competence Analysis

  • The main goal of this study is to examine the competition intensity in the Korean bakery franchise industry and to identify the core competencies of the industry's leading company, Paris Baguette. The frameworks of PEST analysis, Cross Impact analysis, a Five Forces Model, a Value Chain, and VRIO analysis. PEST and Cross Impact analysis were employed to investigate the industry's external environment, and the results indicated that 'increased attention on corporate's Creating Shared Value (CSV) activities' is the most influential factor among others. The analysis using the Five Forces Model found industry rivalry and substitutes were the greatest threats. Finally, the results of Value Chain and VRIO analysis identified four core competencies of Paris Baguette: its CEO's craftsmanship, e-procurement system, quality of dormant dough, and hub system. Multiple managerial implications are suggested for practitioners in the marketing area, especially in the saturated market environment.

Influencing Factors of Consumption Willingness for E-Sports Products: A Case Study of "King of Glory" Game Players

  • This study examines the factors influencing e-sports product consumption among Chinese e-sports game players. We focus on the popular game "King of Glory" and use surveys to collect player data. Our findings show that e-sports product characteristics significantly impact consumption experiences, while incentive factors also influence consumption willingness. External factors have minimal impact. Additionally, souvenir products and festival events are key in driving e-sports consumption. This research explores the consumption willingness of Chinese e-sports players, the world's largest consumer market. Understanding their needs can help companies develop targeted marketing strategies, unlocking the commercial potential of e-sports and promoting industry growth.

기초학습부진아동의 내·외적동기에 따른 학업적 실패내성, 우울, 학업효능감에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Inner/External Motive of Children with Underachievement in Basic Learning on Academic Failure Tolerance, Depression and Academic Efficacy)

  • 본 연구는 초등학생 기초학습부진아동의 내·외적동기, 학업적 실패내성(감정, 행동, 과제선호도), 우울(우울정서, 행동장애, 흥미상실, 자기비하, 생리적 증상), 학업효능감과의 관계를 알아보고, 내·외적동기에 영향을 주는 변인을 밝히는 목적이 있다. G광역시 10개 초등학교 기초학습부진아동 3학년과 학년 56명을 대상으로 하였다. 기초학습부진아동의 학년별 차이를 알아보기 위해 t검정을 하였고, 내·외적동기 예언변인을 알아보기 위해 회귀분석을 하였다. 첫째, 초등학생 기초학습부진아동의 외적동기에서 3학년과 5학년 간에 차이가 나타났다. 즉 기초학습부진아동은 부모의 강요나 처벌을 피하기 위해서 행동을 한다고 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 학습부진 아동의 외적동기에 영향을 주는 변인으로는 우울정서, 흥미상실, 생리적 증상으로 나타났다. 그러나 내적동기에 영향을 주는 변인은 나타나지 않았다. 따라서 초등학생 기초학습부진 3학년 학생들은 5학년 학생들보다 외적동기에 의해 공부를 하는 것으로 나타났고, 외적동기에 영향을 주는 우울 변인들을 감소시키는 프로그램 도입이 필요하겠다.

  • In the previous study, authors presented the I-ProConS (Intelligent PREdiction system of CONcrete Strength) using artificial neural networks (ANN) that provides in-place strength information of the concrete to facilitate concrete form removal and scheduling for construction. The serious problem of the system has occured, which it cannot appropriately predict the concrete strength when the curing temperature of a curing day is changed. This is because it uses the single neural networks, which all nodes are fully connected, and thus it cannot smoothly respond for external impact. However this paper presents that the problem can be solved by multiple neural networks, which is composed of five ANNs.
