In order to reduce unnecessary exposure doses generated when mammography is performed using a mammography device, a shielding ratio analysis was performed when a self-made shielding body made of bismuth was applied to the breast opposite to the imaging site. In order to determine the scattering dose of uncompressed breasts during CC and MLO tests when the right and left are compressed, the experiment is divided into when bismuth is not shielded (Not used: NU group) and when shielded (Used: U group). Proceeded. The average dose of the NU group was 9.568μSv, and the average dose of the U group was 1.038μSv. The average measured dose before and after the use of the bismuth shield was reduced by 89.15%. The use of a bismuth shield for mammography can shield scattered radiation and keep exposure to radiation to a minimum.

Objectives: The aims of this study are to investigate how X-rays are emitted to surrounding parts during the ion implantation process, to analyze these emissions in relation to the properties of the ion implanter equipment, and to estimate the resulting exposure dose. Eight ion implanters equipped with high-voltage electrical systems were selected for this study. Methods: We monitored X-ray emissions at three locations outside of the ion implanters: the accelerator equipped with a high-voltage energy generator, the impurity ion source, and the beam line. We used a Personal Portable Dose Rate and Survey Meter to monitor real-time X-ray levels. The SX-2R probe, an X-ray Features probe designed for use with the RadiagemTM meter, was also utilized to monitor lower ranges of X-ray emissions. The counts per second (CPS) measured by the meter were estimated and then converted to a radiation dose (𝜇Sv/hr) based on a validated calibration graph between CPS and μGy/hr. Results: X-rays from seven ion implanters were consistently detected in high-voltage accelerator gaps, regardless of their proximity. X-rays specifically emanated from three ion implanters situated in the ion box gap and were also found in the beam lines of two ion implanters. The intensity of these X-rays did not show a clear pattern relative to the devices' age and electric properties, and notably, it decreased as the distance from the device increased. Conclusions: In conclusion, every gap, in which three components of the ion implanter devices were divided, was found to be insufficiently shielded against X-ray emissions, even though the exposure levels were not estimated to be higher than the threshold.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of different cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) acquisition protocols on reducing the effective radiation dose while maintaining image quality. Materials and Methods: The effective dose emitted by a CBCT device was calculated using thermoluminescent dosimeters placed in a Rando Alderson phantom. Image quality was assessed by 3 experienced evaluators. The relationship between image quality and confidence was evaluated using the Fisher exact test, and the agreement among raters was assessed using the kappa test. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed to investigate whether the technical parameters could predict the effective dose. P-values<0.05 were considered to indicate statistical significance. Results: The optimized protocol (3 mA, 99 kVp, and 450 projection images) demonstrated good image quality and a lower effective dose for radiation-sensitive organs. Image quality and confidence had consistent values for all structures (P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis resulted in a statistically significant model. The milliamperage (b=0.504; t=3.406; P=0.027), kilovoltage peak (b=0.589; t=3.979; P=0.016) and number of projection images (b=0.557; t=3.762; P=0.020) were predictors of the effective dose. Conclusion: Optimized CBCT acquisition protocols can significantly reduce the effective radiation dose while maintaining acceptable image quality by adjusting the milliamperage and projection images.

This study demonstrates direct-patternable amorphous TiOx resistive switching (RS) device and the fabrication method using photochemical metal-organic deposition (PMOD). For making photosensitive stock solutions, Ti(IV) 2-ethylhexanoate was used as starting precursor. Photochemical reaction by UV exposure was observed and analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and the reaction was completed within 10 minutes. Uniformly formed 20 nm thick amorphous TiOx film was confirmed by atomic force microscopy. Amorphous TiOx RS device, formed as 6 × 6 ㎛ square on 4 ㎛ width electrode, showed forming-less RS behavior in ±4 V and on/off ratio ≈ 20 at 0.1 V. This result shows PMOD process could be applied for low temperature processed ReRAM device and/or low cost, flexible memory device.
In related to mobile communication environment, many researchers have studied problems concerning current locations of mobile users and exposure of their movements in the privacy aspect so far [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9]. Among them, Kesdogan and Pfitzmann [3,6] proposed effective solutions using temporary pseudonym identification, called TP(Temporary Pseudonym ) to solve them. After that, Kesdogan et al. proposed an improved method protecting mobile users from some types of attacks of network providers in [8]. However, among their methods, in particular the method, attaching the other new device (so-called Reachability Manager) to system against active attack of network providers, is alterative rather than practical and is not clear. Moreover, it requires the other cost and overhead. Therefore we propose a practical method against active attack of network providers without attaching new device in original environments. The basie idea of proposed method is to protect a fraud act of network provider as a inside user by exchanging a secret information, which only users and network providers know, via network provider between mobile user and the trusted third party (so-called Trust Device). Moreover, we introduce a new payment protocol which applied our method.

In this paper, we consider particular exposure scenarios to evaluate human effects for inductive commercial wireless charging device operating at low frequency. The coil used in this study is the A10 model in Qi standard proposed by WPC(Wireless Power Consortium), and input power is 5 W to the operating frequency of 155 kHz. In perfectly aligned condition, the max leakage magnetic field is $257.58{\mu}T$ which is obtained at the side of the device, and it is exceeded about 7.4 times of the ICNIRP 1998 reference level. The SAR is evaluated with homogeneous phantom which has electric constants of wet skin. The max value of the SAR is $134.47{\mu}W/kg$ which is obtained at the side of the device also, and it is much lower than the international guidelines. Especially, it showed higher SAR values in case of misalignment condition, so we will need to consider the misalignment condition importantly when we evaluate human effects for wireless power transfer system.
In the medical field, applications of plasma are applied sterilize instruments mainly but with the advent of bio-plasma technology, the scope of application is expanding. Recently, In addition, high-density miniaturization with handheld is required for sophisticated procedures when irradiated directly or treated with non-standard conditions. Rosen-type PZT is a device with a structure that generates high voltage plasma by achieving voltage transformation through electro-mechanical coupling using piezoelectric effect.and is used in portable plasma generating devices as an advantage to increase energy density relatively. In this paper, Rosen-type PZT was modeled using equivalent circuits and was carried out and a plasma generating device for medical application was designed and prototype tested. Prototype plasma generating device generates an output voltage of 5.8 kV with 12V input power and is designed to operate at high voltage by applying the half-bridge topology power converter. The results of the study confirmed the availability of various medical devices, such as plasma jets or direct exposure equipment.
In this study, we propose an image stitching method for large-area holographic photo lithography. In this method, a hologram medium become a hologram mask for lithography. And the mask has information for stitched images. These images are recorded by signal images which are controlled with DMD (digital micro-mirror device), and serial hologram recording is achieved with a motorized linear stage. Using this method, fringe seams appear on the stitching area. To remove these fringe seams, double exposure holographic lithography is tried. Each stitched image is recorded and reconstructed with a different reference beam. The experiments confirm that fringe seams are removed.

The image intensifier tube that is clinically used gets changed depending on its terms of use. As the brightness gets deteriorated and the performance gets decrease, the X-ray output needs to be increased to maintain the identical diagnosis outcome. As a consequence, the patients are exposed to the increased radiation. Since not many accurate studies have been made, this study measured the conversion factor and resolution depending on the use of the devices that were currently used in Korea. When comparison was made with a device with less than 1 year-use, the conversion factor of a device with 6 year-use got decreased up to 25% while its resolution was reduced from 3.4 lp/mm to 2.5 lp/mm. Such outcome highlights the necessary measures to be supplemented as the increased terms of use implied also the increased radiation exposure among the patients as well as difficulty to conduct an accurate exam.

The color reproduction of digital still camera does not, in general, match those of the final output device. Because color gamut of these devices is different, it is therefore necessary to take account of a way to match. The way uses the optimized profile to output device an image. This paper proposed a way to create the input profile of digital still camera for standardization soft proofing process. The results of proposed way showed that for input profiles equivalent, good results relatively. In this paper, an experiment was done where the illumination sources used as the standard illumination 5200K and illuminated at a $45^{\circ}$ angle in the best illumination efficiently. The white balance was in mode 'custom' : aperture F11, exposure time 1/60s, ISO50, focal length 80mm. The images were exported and saved as 16bit RGB TIFF(AdobeRGB, sRGB, ProphotoRGB) images. To do the test, the RGB values of the RGB TIFF images are processed through the ICC input profile to arrive at processed $CIEL^*a^*b^*$ values. A profiling tool such as ProfileMaker 5.0 and Monacoprofile 4.8 are used to do this. The processed $CIEL^*a^*b^*$ values are compared to the reference $CIEL^*a^*b^*$ values and these two values are used to calculate a ${\Delta}E{^*}_{ab}$.
