이 소고에서는 기하평균의 성질과 기하평균과 관련된 통계적 추론에 대한 알아 본다. 로그변환-역변환을 통해 얻어진 통계적 추론 결과가 기하평균과 관련이 있다는 것을 보이고 이 과정에서 유도된 결과를 어떻게 해석해야 하는지를 설명한다.

Firms pursue new business opportunities for growth. Market development strategy is one of the growth strategies, which develops new market segments with current products. However, new market generally has high uncertainty, or high risk. Firms should consider the risk in making and implementing the market development strategy. In this paper, an optimal marketing resource allocation model is developed, taking into account the risk attitude of a firm in market development. Under the assumption of exponential utility function, the global optimal solution is derived, and the implications are provided.

The problem of the state-minimization for the nonde-terministic finite Rabin-Scott's automata is considered. A new algo-rithm for this problem is obtained. The obtained algorithm has the exponential effectiveness like the earlier-known algorithms for this problem. But each of previous algo-rithms amounts to the search of minimum generative system for local reaction of equal automaton of canonical form and unlike them we use in this paper two special function marking states of the given automaton.

Four quadrotor UAVs are maneuvered to guide four animals into their pen within the minimum time by creating noises of predators modeled with an exponential function. The quadrotor UAVs are controlled via PID controllers, follow time optimal trajectories, and avoid collisions through altitude separations. The stability of the proposed PID controller is analyzed and verified using MATLAB/Simulink based simulations. Proposed step by step strategies would be practical solutions of actual cattle roundup problems.

Let $\mathcal{K}^{\prime}_M$ be the generalized tempered distributions of $e^{M(t)}$-growth, where the function M(t) grows faster than any linear functions as ${\mid}t{\mid}{\rightarrow}{\infty}$, and let $K^{\prime}_M$ be the Fourier transform spaces of $\mathcal{K}^{\prime}_M$. We obtain the relationship between certain classes of analytic functions in tubes, $\mathcal{K}^{\prime}_M$ and $K^{\prime}_M$.

Other problems associated with pole placement have been discussed. A simple algorithm for output feedback pole shifting has been developed. The algorithm is based on minimising an objective function which is the sum of the exponential of the real part of the system colsed loop eigenvalues. It is demonstrated that the algorithm is simple and effective in arriving at a suitable feedback matrix for the control of boiler using only two measurement.

We particularly emphasized how to determine the number of replications with sequential and multistage procedures. So, the t-test is used to achieve some predetermined level of accuracy efficiently with loss function in the case of normal, chi-squared, an exponential distributions. We provided that the relevance of procedures are sequential procedure, two-stage procedure, modified two-stage procedure, three-stage procedure and accelerated sequential procedure. Monte Carlo simulation is carried out to obtain the stopping sample size that minimizes the risk.

Hardware realization of a digital 2-D homomorphic filter for real time contrast enhancement of video signal is presented. In homomorphic filter, logarithmic and exponential conversion used the memory lookup table method and because the hardware is implemented by multiplierless TTL devices, it can be designed to specific IC. The contrast gain can be controlled externally and the transfer function of homomorphic filter can be easily varied by the change of lookup table memory data.
