표준한방처방의 EBM 구축을 위한 갈근탕(葛根湯) 문헌 분석 연구 (Systematic Studies on Galgeun-tang(gegen-tang, kakkon-to) for Establishment of Evidence Based Medicine)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this report was to provide the information of activity and safety of galgeun-tang by analyzing domestic/international papers and theses about galgeun-tang. Methods : Domestic/international papers and theses related to galgeun-tang were reviewed and analyzed. These papers were then classified by efficacy, or clinical trials. Results : The basic pharmacological experiment showed antipyretic, analgesic and anti-virus and anti-oxidant efficacy of galgeun-tang. In the case report of galgeun-tang, it showed therapeutic effect for patient with chronic rhinitis. But administration of galgeun-tang induced pruritic eruption in the two case report as a side effects of galgeun-tang. Conclutions : galgeun-tang showed tantipyretic, analgesic and anti-virus and anti-oxidant efficacy in the basic pharmacological experiment. Also, galgeun-tang showed therapeutic effect for patient with chronic rhinitis. But it was reported that galgeun-tang induced pruritic eruption in two case report, so physicians should be aware of the potential side effects.

비지시적 대학 일반 물리 실험의 긍정적 효과 (Positive Effect of Non-directive College Introductory Physics Laboratory)

  • Experiments done in traditional physics laboratories have been criticized for giving too detailed instruction so that student could follow the experimental procedure without understanding. This type of experiment is often called "cookbook experiment." Cookbook experiment was known to be little help to understand the physics concepts and to increase student interest. To solve these problems with traditional cookbook experiment, non-directive introductory physics laboratory was designed and tried with the freshmen of Department of Physics Education of Seoul National University. Non-directive laboratory was characterized by the lack of step by step instruction for students to follow. The instruction students received consisted of the goal of experiment, a short introduction, and a list of suggested materials to be used. Student designed the experimental procedure and decided what material they wanted to use. One group submitted one lab report as a group to encourage cooperation among students. Lab report could be written in any form students wanted and no penalty point was given to poor data or inappropriate theory, etc to encourage taking risks. Penalty points were given if the students did not get involved during class hours. Student received extra point for being creative and / or working hard. Teaching assistants used Socratic dialogue in helping students to find their own way instead of explaining what they had to do. Students' interest about the non-directive experiment was studies at the of the semester. A questionnaire was made for students to answer. The questionnaire consisted of four categories, the equipment and the laboratory, the experimental procedure, the lab report, and teaching assistant. For each category, student were asked to explain the differences from other laboratory classes, features they liked and the reasons why they do, features they did not like and why they did not. At the end of the questionnaire, students were asked what hey wanted to change and what they did not. They also could put any opinion they had other than the questions asked. Student overall opinion was very positive. All the students said they liked the lack of detailed experimental procedure because it gave them the feeling of achievement, made them feel challenged and think in more diverse and creative ways. Students liked the lab report because group report forced them to discuss more and the free form lab report helped them to focus on the what they did. Student responses about the teaching assistant was also positive but not as enthusiastic as the experimental procedure or lab report. However students recognised that the role of the teaching assistant was as a guide, a supporter, or a facilitator.

일반물리실험에서 반성적 사고를 강조한 실험보고서 적용 가능성 탐색 (A Study on Application of Reflective Thinking-Based Laboratory Report in General Physics Experiment)

  • 이 연구에서는 반성적 사고를 강조하는 실험보고서를 도입하여 이러한 실험보고서의 적용이 학습자의 메타인지능력과 탐구능력에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 일반물리실험을 수강하는 대학교 1학년 학생을 대상으로 한 학기 동안 반성적 사고를 강조한 실험보고서 작성을 도입한 후 일반적인 실험보고서를 작성한 학생들과 메타인지능력과 탐구능력의 변화를 비교하고, 반성적 사고를 강조한 실험보고서를 사용한 학생들의 의견을 조사하였다. 반성적 사고를 강조한 실험보고서를 작성한 학생의 메타인지능력이 일반적인 실험보고서를 사용한 학생에 비해 유의미하게 상승하였으며, 이들의 탐구능력도 일반적인 실험보고서를 사용한 학생들과 마찬가지로 상승한 것으로 나타났다. 설문 결과, 설문 참여자들은 대체로 이러한 실험보고서가 복습과 메타인 지능력 및 탐구능력의 향상에 도움이 되며, 향후 교사가 되면 이 보고서 양식을 사용할 의향이 있다고 응답하였다.

  • The purposes or this study were to develop the scientific experimental model, experimental guidelines for teachers, experiment planning & report form for students, and evaluation scales for the Home Economics Textiles class in high school. First, through review of literature concerned, scientific experimental model was defined, and the usefulness of this model on the teaching situation testified on other subjects such as Physics and Bilolgy, was reviewed. Secondly, scientific experimental model, experimental guidelines for teachers, experiment planning & report form for students, and evaluation scale were developer on the bases on APU evaluation model, experimental guidelines for teachers, experiment planning & report form for students, evaluation scale applicable to the teaching situation ere established by analysing the significant differences scientifically.

광합성 실험에서 나타난 초등 예비교사들의 반성적 사고와 실험 수행 능력 분석 (The Analysis of Elementary Pre-service Teachers' Reflective Thinking and Experiment Performance Ability on Photosynthesis Experiment)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 과학교과서에 수록된 광합성 실험을 초등 예비교사들이 직접 수행하고 그 실험결과와 자신의 반성을 담은 탐구과정상의 어려움과 해결책을 탐구보고서에 작성하도록 하였다. 10개조의 탐구보고서와 발표자료를 바탕으로 초등 예비교사들의 반성적 사고와 실험 수행 능력을 분석하였다. 반성적 사고에 대해서는 10편의 탐구보고서에서 '지식', '과정', '지향', '태도' 4가지 유형과 관련된 총 108개의 진술 문장을 추출하였다. 분석 결과 광합성 실험을 통해 획득한 '지식'에 대한 반성적인 사고에 대한 내용이 가장 많았다. 지식유형에서도 실험을 통해 새롭게 알게 된 것이나 기존의 개념이해가 변화한 내용에 대한 반성이 가장 높은 빈도를 보였다. 실험 수행 능력은 10개조 중 반성적 사고 4가지 유형을 합산하여 가장 높은 빈도를 보인 한 개 조와 가장 낮은 빈도를 보인 한 개 조의 탐구보고서를 '실험준비 및 안전사고 예방', '실험 수행', '실험결과 정리 및 일반화', '실험결과 보완 및 피드백' 4단계에 따라 분석하여 56개의 문장을 추출하였다. 분석 결과 '실험결과 보완 및 피드백' 단계에서 두 조 간에 가장 큰 차이를 보였다. 최하위 조의 경우 '실험결과 정리 및 일반화' 단계의 '컴퓨터를 이용한 정보 처리', '대체 시약 및 재료 탐색', '대체 실험법 고안' 능력과 관련된 내용은 탐구보고서에서 찾을 수가 없었다.

형태의 조직화에서 균질 연결성의 의의 (The Significance of Uniform Connectedness on Perceptual Organization)

  • 순간 노출된 형태의 판단 과제에서 균질 연결성의 효과를 체계적으로 검증하기 위해 두실험이 수행되었다. 상하로 연결되거나 분리되어 배치된 두 괄호의 정체 판단에서 관찰된 부적 반복효과가 분리된 자극판을 예상하는 지각 태세에 기인할 가능성(실험 1)과 반응 편중 및 짧은 노출시간에 기인할 가능성(실험 2)을 검토하였다. 실험 1은, 연결된 자극판만을 사용하여, 도형의 한 부분으로 지시된 표적만을 보고하는 조건과 전체 도형을 보고하는 조건 모두에서 부적 반복효과를 관찰하였다. 실험 2는, 노출시간을 늘여 정확 보고율을 높이는 동시에, 애매한 도형을 이용하여 반응 편중의 정도를 계산하였는데, 반응 편중 효과의 제거 후에도 여전히 부적 반복효과를 관찰하였다. 본 연구의 결과는, 과제의 요구가 없어도 균질 연결된 형태들이 분석적으로 처리될 수 있음을 가리키며, 나아가 균질 연결성이 지각 조직화의 원리라는 가설을 부정하는 것으로 보인다.

First Report on Gray Blight of Tea Plant Caused by Pestalotiopsis theae in Korea

  • A fungus associated with gray blight on tea plant (Camellia sinensis) was identifed as Pestalotiopsis theae based on the mycological characteristics. Mycelial growth on potato dextrose agar and size and shape of conidia of P. theae were similar to those of P. longiseta, but P. theae was different from P. longiseta in the color of three median cells and the number of apical appendages. Artificial inoculation of conidial suspension or mycelial mats on the wounded leaves and shoots of healthy plants induced the same disease, respectively. The Korean native variety was relatively. The Korean native variety was relatively more resistat to P. theae than a Japanese variety‘Yabukita’which has bee recently introduced and planted in large areas of southern parts of Korea. Here, we report the report the first record of gary blight caused by P. theae on tea plant in Korea.

옥수수 기능성 물질의 종류와 변이 (Functional Ingredients of Maize and Their Variation)

  • The objective of this report is to review the up to present papers including 79 references about functional ingredients in maize and their variations. Maize is a good source of such antioxidants as ${\alpha}-,\;{\gamma}-tocopherols,\;{\alpha}-,\;{\beta}-carotene,\;{\beta}-cryptoxanthin$, zeaxanthin, quercetin and chlorogenic acid. Unsaponifiable standard extracts of Zea mays L. (ZML) have a beneficial effect on various dental diseases. Flavonoids, flavonoid biosynthetic pathway and their controling genes were also reviewed in this report. Flavonoids are required for successful fertilization in maize pollen, and maysin has a potent antibiotic activities to earworm and fall armyworm in maize silks. Maize silks have been used in traditional medicine for diuretic, vascular diseases and diabetes, etc. and boiling water extracts of maize silk have hemodynamic effects, but their ingredients still remain obscure.

  • Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) changed our everyday business drastically. Business routines have been transformed to online activities. New theories and models were developed for the brand new online environment. For online negotiations, however, the research on new mechanisms is not enough, especially for bilateral distributive negotiations. A reserve price reporting mechanism (RPR) together with its extended version (ERPR) is proposed in this paper. The key improvement of reserve price reporting mechanisms is to let the negotiators report their reserve price to a third-party system before they actually start the negotiation. A prototype of this RPR system is developed and a lab experiment is conducted to test the performance of the two mechanisms compared with traditional direct bargaining (TDB) mechanism. The results of the experiment support that the reserve price report mechanisms proposed are more efficient than the traditional one in several dimensions including social welfare.

  • Potate tubers with slver scurf lesions were collected from the cold storage at Pyungchang, Kangwon province in Korea. The causal agent of the silver scurf was identified as Helminthosporium solani by mycological characteristics of conidia and conidiophores. Pathogenicity of the fungus was confirmed by artificial inoculation on the potato tuber. This is the first report of potato silver scarf by Helminthosporium solani in Korea.
