Analysis of data was done using mean, correlation and multiple regression analysis with the SAS computer program. A society preoccupied with thinness gives a burden to women, and this burden may stress dissatisfaction with body image. Social perception of ideal body image except parents' perception, and salient others'perception, and salient others' expectation of subjects' body image except parents' expectation, were much thinner than normal figures in this study. The purpose of this study was to examine the consumers' image and factors of wear comfort, expectation and satisfaction levels of wear comfort of hiking gear in order to investigate the consumer perception of wear comfort of hiking gear. The questionnaires were distributed to 400 people in their 40s and 50s and, 260 of which were used to data analysis. The questionnaires were comprised of questions about the image, factors, expectation and satisfaction levels of wear comfort of hiking gear, and demographic characteristics. Data were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA, Duncan test, T-test with SPSS 19.0 IBM for Windows. In demographic characteristics, 43.5% of respondents were male and people under 45 years of age were at 17.7%, those between 46 and 50 with 46.5%, those between 51 and 55 with 28.9%, those between 56 and 60 with 6.9%. The results of this study are as follows. Responses of male and female consumers to image of wear comfort were similar and ten or more mentioned reponses by men were well-being and freedom from pain, stretchability, light weight, absorption of sweat, softness. Wear comfort of hiking gear was shown to include mobility/pressure factors, moisture factor, psychological factor, tactile/keeping body temperature factors. It was shown that the expectation and satisfaction levels of wear comfort of hiking gear were relatively high and were not influenced by consumer's sex and age, but were affected by the objective of mountaineering.
The purpose of this study was to examine media influence on college students' thoughts and explore determinants of the media influence. Between September 7, 2013, and September 12, 2013, a questionnaire survey was administered to students at university-A and total 328 useable responses were collected. Findings are as follows: (1) Houses in TV drama had a strong influence on college students' future housing preferences but had a relatively weak influence on housing satisfaction and concrete housing expectations; (2) students perceived that houses in TV dramas did not reflect reality well; (3) females and/or relatively younger respondents tended to perceive a stronger influence of media on their thoughts and expectation on housing; (4) respondents who had a stronger desire to imitate lifestyle of TV drama characters and a stronger perception that houses in TV drama reflected reality well, and the respondents whose consumption preferences were more easily influenced by media were found to perceive media influence on their housing expectation stronger; and (5) to see regression analysis results, a linear combination of desire to imitate lifestyle of TV drama characters, perception of reality reflection of houses in TV dramas, gender, perceived media influences on clothes and accessories, and electronics preferences was found to be able to explain 46.4% of variance in media influence on housing expectations.
The purpose of this study was to identify the behavioral, attitudinal, and demographic correlates of light, medium, and heavy users of eating out at family restaurants. Among 358 reponses from the subjects, 224 responses were utilized for the analysis, and 134 responses were reserved for validating the discriminant function. Descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, stepwise discriminant analysis, canonical discriminant analysis, and anova analysis were used for this study. The findings from this study were as follows: First, He behavioral characteristics were found to discriminate among the three usage groups. Second, it was found that heavy users expressed greater difference between perception and expectation on the quantity of food that are appropriately served and the consistent quality of food at every visit. Third, the usage rate of eating out was not dependent on the sex, but dependent on the companion, average expenditure, and the time of eating out in chi-square test. Finally, the results of the study provide some insight into the pattern of marketing strategies that can be successfully used by the managers of family restaurants.
Without exception, diverse LULU(Locally Unwanted Land Use) facilities have been under the location conflict, especially between the public government units and local residents. In spite of repeated trials-and-errors, literally, the location conflict has shown no sign of improvement over time in Korea. As practical means to tackle these issues, this study focuses on divulging explicit and implicit relationships among key factors derived from the location conflict on the LULU facilities. Here, major research variables cover residents' agreement, residents' perception, compensation expectation, and public opinion. As the location conflict on the LULU facilities could be strengthened or resolved by the dynamic feedback system, it applies basic tools geared toward causal loop diagramming. After repeated experiments, the study highlights the fact that the residents' perception, compensation expectation, and public opinion, individually and collectively, exert significant impact on the residents' agreement ratio.

The IPA technique proved nine items including Q5, Q7, Q8, Q11, Q12, Q13, Q15, Q16, Q17 were in 'Doing Great, Keep It Up' and seven items such as Q1, Q2, Q3, Q6, Q9, Q18, Q19 that got high expectation and low perception needed to be focused in quality management strategy.
Under the competitive environment of shipping industry, the improvement of the quality of shipping service could be one of the most important factors to be considered in the recent shipping industry. However, there has been little study on the clear concept of the service quality in the shipping so far. The subject of this study is to define the concept of the service quality in the shipping by way of making investigation into the related precedent literatures studied. The quality of service is recognized in general as a degree of gap between the customer's expectation and the perception. Therefore the service quality of shipping could be measured by evaluating the gaps between shipper's expectation and performance of shipping service. If the determinants of the service quality in the shipping are proved, and the discrepancies of expectations and perception between the shipping company and the shipper could be clarified, such a result would be an useful help to establish marketing strategy.
