공압운동기기의 하지 슬관절 운동 시 재활운동 효과의 유효성에 관한 연구 (Validation of Exercise Effect in Rehabilitation during Knee Extension of the Lower Limbs using Pneumatic Exercise System)

  • 본 연구에서는 공압 액추에이터를 이용하여 보다 안전하고 편리하게 사용자가 원하는 맞춤형 운동 프로그램을 선택할 수 있는 공압용 슬관절 운동시스템을 개발하였고, 재활운동 시 운동효과에 대한 유효성을 검증하고자 한다. 피험자는 평소 운동을 주 1회 이하로 실시하며 슬관절 신전과 굴곡에 이상이 없는 대학생 수준의 20대 남녀 10명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 실험방법은 기존의 유압식 슬관절 운동장비와 개발된 운동시스템을 이용하여 하루 12회씩 3세트의 슬관절 신전 및 굴곡운동을 실시하고, 주 3회 실시하며 실험은 총 4주간 반복되었다. 운동부하 프로그램은 유압식의 수동형 운동부하와 본 연구에서 개발된 시스템의 능동형 운동부하로 나누어 제공하였다. 운동부하 프로그램에 따른 실시간 근육활성 패턴과 운동 전 후 근육활성도를 비교함으로써 재활운동에 대한 운동효과를 검증하였다. 실험결과 수동형 운동부하보다 능동형 운동부하에 보다 높은 근육활성도를 이끌어 냈으며 운동 4주 후 더 큰 근력증진 효과를 나타냈다. 장비 중심의 운동부하 보다 사용자 중심의 운동부하가 더 효과적으로 근력을 증진할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 향후 재활환자나 노약자들에게 안전하고 효율적인 재활운동프로그램으로 활용 될 것이며 또한 재활장비에 적용되어 재활치료관련 종사자들에게 보다 쉽고 편리한 재활운동처방이 가능할 것이라 사료된다.

  • 근대5종 경기는 기구 없이 하는 운동과 기구를 사용하는 운동 그리고 동물과 함께하는 운동은 물론 사람과 사람이 경쟁하는 운동뿐만 아니라 정적운동과 동적운동을 포함하는 운동 종목이다. 근대5종 경기 선수들의 윤리적인 문제는 열악한 환경과 경제적 이유와도 관계가 있으며 운동선수의 윤리인식과 태도, 그리고 정신은 스포츠 선수의 심적 환경에 많은 영향을 주고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현대 스포츠에서 중요한 문제로 다르고 있는 윤리적인 문제들의 개선 방향을 검토하고자 질적 연구방법을 적용하여 근대5종 경기의 스포츠 정신과 윤리성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 스포츠에서 보상주의는 경기력 향상이나 기록 갱신의 원인이 되기도 하지만 때로는 왜곡된 선수상의 형성 원인이 되기도 한다. 에어도핑은 선수의 건강이나 공정성의 논란과 함께 스포츠선수의 정신적 육체적 손상과 폐해를 야기할 수 있는 윤리적 문제를 안고 있다. 금지약물을 복용하는 선수나 이를 방치하거나 종용하는 지도자나 감독자의 책임과 윤리문제는 매우 중요한 사안으로 다루어지고 취급되어야한다. 스포츠 현장에서 선수나 감독 지도자의 경기실적에 종속된 보수체계가 선수나 지도자의 생계와 연관이 있기 때문에 공정하고 정의로운 경기진행을 위해 성과에만 매달리는 선수육성에서 탈피하여 이념과 논리에서 합리적으로 인식되는 윤리성회복을 강조함으로써 비윤리성문제가 극복되어야 할 것이다.

  • The isokinetic exercise equipment generally allows a relatively safe application of maximal loading to a specific muscle group as well as an accurate and objective evaluation of muscle strength and endurance, it is more widely wing an the one of the important methods in rehabilitation and sports medicine. The aim of this paper was to compare the concept of the isometric and isotonic exercise and investigate the change of aerobic, anaerobic and fibers. In addition, the present study was designed to investigate the factors in measurement.

무릎관절 재활기구에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Rehabilitation Equipment for Knee Joint)

  • This paper presents upgraded equipment to assist a patient in rehabilitating of their knee-joint by themselves. A new automatic mechanism is suggested and developed in order to add functions for enforcing the leg muscles, which were absent in previous rehabilitation machines. Using the Pro-engineer software, we analyze the displacements and speeds of several moving points of the equipment during various planned exercises. In addition, an appropriate control panel for operation is developed. Three motors andthree motor drivers are used in a tilting part for the ankle joint, sliding guide part for the knee joint, and up-down moving part for the whole leg. Finally, various newly upgraded motions can be generated by controlling the three motors simultaneously. we show that by using this equipment, we can adjust the proper length of the equipment according to the user's height and the intensity of the rehabilitation exercise.

발목관절의 고유수용성 운동이 여성노인의 자세정렬에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Proprioceptive Exercise of Ankle Joint on Postural Alignment in Woman Elderly Person)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of proprioceptive exercise on the body alignment of elderly women. Method: The experimental group consisted of twenty elderly women who participated in proprioceptive exercise for 8 weeks. The subjects were measured using Global Posture System equipment for assessing their body alignment. Body alignment was measured at the ear, shoulder joint, knee joint and calcaneocuboid joint on the sagittal plane, and the left and right acromion process positions, the ASIS and the medial malleoulus on the coronal plane. The body alignment data was used to assess the changes before and after proprioceptive exercise. The data of the experimental group was compared and analyzed using the Wilcoxon singed-rank test between before and after proprioceptive exercise. The Mann-Whithney test was used to compare the experimental group and the control group. Result: The result of this study was that the body alignment of the experimental group at the ear and knee joint on the sagittal plane was significantly in alignment with the line of gravity (p<0.05) before and after proprioceptive exercise. The body alignment was statistically different (p<0.05) between the experimental group and the control group on the frontal plane and sagittal plane. Conclusion: This study showed that proprioceptive exercise does affect the body alignment in elderly women. This indicates that there is interaction that plays a crucial role for proprioceptive stimuli and the body alignment.

The Effect of Types of Respiratory Exercise on Respiratory Muscle Activity and Health-Related Quality of Life of Patients with Severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

  • Purpose: This study intended to classify voluntary respiratory exercise and exercise using breathing training equipment to suggest proper respiratory exercise to relieve symptoms of patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods: Sixteen subjects were randomly selected for experimental group I, which performed feedback breathing exercise and 15 subjects were randomly selected for experimental group II, which performed a complex breathing exercise. The mediation program was performed 30 minutes a session, once a day, three times a week, for five weeks. This study analyzed before and after results within groups and between groups through measurement of respiratory muscle activity and health-related quality of life. Results: Activity of sternocleidomastoid muscle and scalene muscle increased meaningfully within experimental group I and activity of diaphragm increased significantly within experimental group II (p<0.05) and there was a meaningful difference in health-related quality of life within experimental group II (p<0.05). Significant differences in change of activity of respiratory muscle and health-related quality of life were observed between groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: This study showed conflicting results between activity of agonist and synergist in patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease according to types of respiratory exercise and that complex respiratory exercise is more effective in health-related quality of life. Therefore, it found that the more severity increase, the more self-respiratory technique is an effective program. Diversified approach methods will be needed to improve respiratory function and quality of life for patients, and continuous clinical studies will be needed in the future.

자세유지밴드가 스쿼트 운동 시 넙다리네갈래근의 근활성도와 체중분포에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Posture Holding Band on Muscle Activity of Quadriceps Femoris and Weight Distribution during Squat Exercise)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the posture holding band on muscle activity of the rectus femoris, medial vastus, and vastus lateralis muscles and weight distribution during squat exercise. Methods : This study was conducted with 30 healthy adult men and women in their 20s, and all subjects were randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group. Squat exercise was performed for 6 weeks. The experimental group received squat exercise while wearing a posture holding band, and the control group applied without wearing a posture holding band. Muscle activity of the quadriceps femoris (rectus femoris, vastus medialis, and vastus lateralis) and weight distribution (knee flexion 0 °, 30 °, 60 °, and 90 °) was measured. Results : According to the results of this study, all three muscles showed a main effect on time and group, and a significant interaction was shown only in the vastus lateralis. In addition, the value of the weight distribution difference according to the knee flexion angle did not show a main effect according to time and group at 30 ° of knee flexion, but showed an interaction. Conclusion : It was confirmed that the application of the posture holding band during squat exercise increased the muscle activity of the quadriceps muscle, and showed greater changes in the vastus lateralis muscle. In addition, it was confirmed that the difference in weight distribution was reduced in the knee flexion, and in particular, a greater change was shown in reducing the difference in weight distribution in the knee flexion of 30 °. Therefore, it is considered that the effect of the exercise can be further enhanced if the unnecessary movement of the trunk is controlled by using equipment such as a posture holding band during squat exercise.

운동 강도가 수면장애 모델 쥐의 혈 중 멜라토닌 농도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Different Exercise Intensity on Blood Melatonin Density in Sleep Disordered Rats)

  • PURPOSE: In this study, we tried to find out what kind of exercise was more effective in sleep disorder by comparing melatonin in blood after applying low intensity with high intensity exercise to sleep disordered rats induced by experiment. METHODS: We used male Sprague-Dawley rats which were 8weeks old and weighted 300g. They were supplied with water and food without any restriction. We kept the room temperature at $25^{\circ}C$ and controld the length of day and night in 12 hours blocks, respectively. We divided the rats 60 into 2 groups. To one group we applied low intensity exercise, and to the other we applied high intensity exercise for 15minutes per day over a period of 4 weeks. We extracted the blood from abdominal aorta before, after exercise, moved into EDTA tube, performed centrifugation. We decanted the serum $200{\mu}l$ from the blood into microcentrifuge tube by samples and moved into polypropylene culture tubes with micro pipette. We split enzyme solution $50{\mu}l$ into the tubes with melatonin direct kits and make them react at $37^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours. We split assay buffer $50{\mu}l$ into each tube and mixed melatonin tracer $50{\mu}l$ and melatonin antiserum $50{\mu}l$, respectively. After we made them react in room temperature, we decanted the superficial layer with a centrifuge and measured the activity for 1 minute by competitive method with ${\gamma}$-counter equipment. We draw a standard curve through logit-log graph with CPM(counts per minute) and counted the melatonin by B/B0. We conducted independent t-test to examine the homogeneous of melatonin value of before low-intensity and high-intensity exercise. We performed paired t-test to compare before and after low-intensity and high-intensity exercise, respectively. We carried out independent t-test to compare melatonin value after low-intensity and high-intensity exercise. Significance level was .05. RESULTS: The results were as follows; firstly melatonin was more increased in the group who was exposed to high intensity exercise when we compared before to after high and low intensity exercise, respectively. Secondly, high intensity exercise was more effective than low intensity exercise when we compared the two. CONCLUSION: In conclusion, secretion of melatonin which is the material of sleep improvement could be promoted by high intensity exercise. Low intensity exercise acted as a stress rather than improving sleep and had a negative effect on the secretion of melatonin because the melatonin was affected by stress.

운동 부하 조절이 가능한 원형 맴돌이전류 부하 제동장치의 성능 분석 (Analysis of Performance for Exercise Load Adjustable Circular Eddy Current Load Brake system)

  • 본 연구에서는 재활운동기기에 적합한 운동부하 조절이 가능한 영구자석형 비 접촉식 원형 브라켓 맴돌이 전류 부하 제동장치를 제안하고 성능을 실험적으로 평가하였다. 제안한 원형 부하 제동장치의 토크 값은 고정 부하를 갖는 "ㄷ"형 부하 제동장치에 비해 49%의 제동력으로 평가되었지만 도전율 변화와 공극의 간격 변화로 다양한 부하 조절이 가능함을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 부하 제동장치는 사용자의 상태에 따라 부하 조절이 가능하며 운동기기의 소형화 및 원가 절감 등의 장점을 갖는 운동기기 적용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

아두이노 센서를 이용한 케겔 운동 시스템 설계 (Kegel Exercise System Using an Arduino sensor)

  • 아두이노와 압력센서를 이용하여 현대인의 관심사인 건강관리 프로그램을 만드는 것이 목적이다. 현재 한국에는 총 420만명의 요실금 환자가 있을 것으로 추정된다. Information Technology와 Bio Technology의 융합을 통해 이러한 환자들이 쉽고 간단하며 가장 효과적인 골반저근운동(이하 케겔운동) 을 할 수 있도록 유도하여 요실금, 발기부전 등을 치료, 예방한다. 현재 시중에 판매되는 케겔 의료기기는 전기적 자극을 강제로 주어 운동을 해야 하는 시스템으로 하의를 탈의하고 폐쇄된 공간에서 Femcon Therapy를 주로 사용 하였으며 이는 시간제약, 공간제약, 위생적인 제약 등의 문제가 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 제약에서 벗어나 하의를 탈의하지 않고 공간과 위생의 제약에서 벗어나 BT와 IT를 융합한 케겔(Kegel) 의료기를 설계 하였다.
