Online exchange is a cost-effective approach to trade goods and information among multiple sellers and buyers. Shipping industry includes lots of global entities such as shippers, liners, ship owners and shipping agents. Marine insurance companies and ship repairers and many other groups are also supporting the industry. However, international shipping exchanges are located on few cities in the world. Its our motivation that a shipping market can be online so that market participants do the dealing while sitting where they are with more efficient manner, preferable price and larger pool of candidates of trading partners. This paper presents Korean governmental project of building a cyber shipping exchange. The exchange covers ship sale and purchase, charter, insurance, freight futures, repairs, supplying of ships oil and database service. The workflows of each business were analyzed and designed to fit for online environment. The project includes design of trading mechanism, online documents, data flow, data storage and security. Online match making and trading mechanisms such as auction, reverse auction, bid are used. The whole trading process involves multiple organizations and business processes. So, this Paper focuses on how each organization would play their roles so that users can complete transactions with integrated and transparent view. The online exchange selves also as maritime portal site that links to other sites for cooperation vertically or horizontally, and serves database and information in global perspective. This paper also issues and discusses the justification of an online shipping exchange

Autonomous business card exchange system using ZigBee with low power and short range was configured In the autonomous business card exchange system characterized as full mesh network in which every node exchanges each information one by one, it is necessary to reduce the time taken for information to be exchanged. In this paper, the novel method where the node ID is exchanged based on CSMA/CA and then the information of each node is broadcast to other nodes according to the ID list based on FIFO. The time required for exchanging information using the proposed method was analyzed and compared with the direct exchange method based on CSMA/CA. The results show that it takes less time in the proposed method than the direct exchange time.

A currency exchange is the rate to exchange currencies between different countries and the one of important factors to measure the economic size or status of a country. The currency exchange is affected by various economic or social events and changed dynamically. However, since too many economic and social factors affect the exchange rate and the leverage rate of each factor is so floating, it is difficult to define clearly the relationships between the exchange rate and the specific factor. In this paper, we analyze the data pattern for the exchange rate and news articles. To do this, we counts the frequencies of words presented in the news articles during specific periods and compare the frequencies with the margins of exchange rates.

Purpose: This research investigates the differences in knowledge exchange activities and performances between startups and large companies in software industry clusters. Research design, data, and methodology: Six independent factors of human resource information, R&D and technology, marketing knowledge, government support information, strategic knowledge, and cooperation information were extracted to test the firm size effect in the relationships with two performance factors such as satisfaction with industry cluster location and satisfaction with financial performances. Data were collected through a survey of entrepreneurs, managers, and employees and tested by statistical analysis methodologies. Results: Three independent factors of human resource information, R&D and technology, and cooperation information were particularly significant in the relationship with both dependent factors. Strategic knowledge significantly affected financial performance. Knowledge exchange activities were more important in startups than in large companies for all eight factors. Conclusion: Policies for software industry clusters need a different approach for startups and large companies.

As recent multilateral collaboration design system has been advanced, BIM based data exchange is a key factor for successful next generation building project. Even though many studies have been trying to set up a data compatibility system for collaboration, There are still a lot of problem in data exchange between design and engineering phase. Therefore, In this study, we analysis causes of problem for information exchange and suggest a IFC based Information exchange framework for improving BIM based design collaboration environment. In order to find out problems that hinder establishment of advanced open BIM information exchange, proper analysis about transition of process from current and to-be BIM based design collaboration process is important, at first. From analysis of main obstacles to information exchange, this research suggests solution plan using open API and IFC based BIM collaboration supporting system. The suggested open API solution named Integrity feedback system perform a role making up for weak point derived from IFC based data exchange. And main system suggestion about framework for IFC based information exchange reflect technological system support, requirement of function for collaboration including API/BCF plug-in.

In the construction industry, construction process includes a variety of design stages with cooperation and regulation by many related disciplines. In addition, the construction market is growing and becoming more complex. With this characteristic, design information has become more and more complicated and difficult to manage by the simple and traditional data management methodology. In the practical field, although CAD has been widely available for the last ten years, related disciplines have not shared digital information efficiently. This paper suggests a construction CAD data exchange model that has been developed through investigation and analysis of Korean construction CAD practices and foreign CAD standards. Moreover, this paper investigates a CAD data exchange model using STEP to improve information availability and overcome the limit of CAD systems.
Ion exchange polymer membrane in the dehydrated state was found to exhibit bending upon a small applied voltage, although the investigations on the hydrated ion exchange polymer membrane bending behavior have been performed quite intensively for more than a decade for the purpose of producing a practical polymer actuator. Our investigation on the dehydrated ion exchange polymer membrane has revealed that its bending direction is perfectly controllable by the polarity control of applied voltage and the degree of its bending curvature is also almost completely determined by the control of duration time of voltage application on it, while the hydrated ion exchange polymer membranes lack of such properties. Furthermore the longevity of dehydrated ion exchange polymer membrane sustaining such a highly controllable properties has been found quite longer than that of the hydrated ion exchange polymer membrane.
The smart grid which is called the future power system should satisfy the customers who want various choices and realtime energy price. The two-way information exchange platform for energy customers provides the infrastructure to transform today's ESP(Energy Service Provider)-centered power system operation into customer-oriented operation. It enables ESPs to provide their customers with a variety of services by communicating with various appliances in customer's premises. In this paper, the portal-based platform model for the two-way information exchange and its implementation are described.

In this paper, we evaluated performance of mobile exchange control part. Queueing network model is used for modeling of mobile exchange control part. We developed a call control processing and location registration scenartio which has a message exchange function between processors in mobile exchange control part. A network symbol are used the simulation models that are composed of the initialization module, message generation module, message routing module, message processing module, message generation module, HIPC network processing module, output analysis module. as a result of computer simulation, we obtain the processor utilization, the mean queue length, the mean waiting time of control part based on call processing and location registration capacity. The call processing and location registration capacity is referred by thenumber of call attempts in the mobile exchange and must be satisfied with the quality of service(delay time).

The Key exchange protocols are very crucial tools to provide the secure communication in the broadband satellite access network. They should be required to satisfy various requirements such as security, Key confirmation, and Key freshness. In this paper, Two authenticated key exchange protocols TPEKE-E(Two Pass Encrypted Key Exchange-Exchange-Efficient) and TPEKE-S(Two Pass Encrypted Key xchange-Secure) are introduced. A basic idea of the protocols is that a password can be represented by modular addition N, and the number of possible modular addition N representing the password is $2^N$. The TPEKE-E is secure against the attacks including main-in-the-middle attack and off-line dictionary attack, and the performance is excellent so as beyond to comparison with other authenticated key exchange protocols. The TPEKE-S is a slight modification of the TPEKE-E. The TPEKE-S provides computational in feasibility for learning the password without having performed off line dictionary attack while preserving the performance of the TPEKE-E.
