  • Ondal Cave is important and significant in terms of cultural value and tourism. In addition, there are abundant historical and cultural resources nearby. If the geographical strength is taken advantage of, the cave would evolve into a great tourist destination and natural education spot. This paper has investigated humanistic environment of Ondal Cave in considerations for the surrounding tourism resources. There are abundant tourism resources around Ondal Cave. However, they are rarely connected with each other. In fact, they are very partially interrelated around Guinsa(temple) only. Furthermore, the number of tourists has gradually decreased. Therefore, it‘s required to further develop tourism programs and surrounding tourism resources.

  • This paper reviews the recent trends in optical access technologies and their future directions. As the number of hyper-connected, ultra-low-latency, and hyper-realistic services increases, the wireless path has become shorter and the optical access network has become deeply penetrated into the end user. The optical access network continues to evolve through endless innovation via high-speed, ultra-low-latency, and abstraction/virtualization technologies.

  • A new evolutionary programming technique using multiple subpopulations with completely differnt evolution mechanisms is propsed to solve the optimization problems. Three subpopulations, each has different evolution charcteristics and uses different EP algorithms such as SAEP, AEP and FEP, are cooperating with synergy effect in which it increases the possibility to quickly find the global optimum of continuous optimization problems. Subpopulations evolve in differnt manner and the interaction among these leads to global minimum quickly.

  • User's demand, as a maintenance for durability of construction and a comfortable life, and an incentive systems for new waterproofing system incite waterproofing company to evolve new waterproofing system that is upgraded waterproofing quality by getting advantages for the existing waterproofing systems. There are seven new waterproofing systems for building roof to be authorized from Ministry of construction & transportation. Those are multi-layers waterproofing system, and five of those are the insulation type. A trend of new waterproofing systems for building roof is multi-layers waterproofing system insulated.

  • Studying the environments in which core-collapse supernovae (SNe) explode and evolve is essential to establish the nature of the mass loss and the explosion of the progenitor star. The spatial structure of the outer shock in young core-collapse SNR provides an excellent opportunity to study the nature of the medium into which the remnant has been expanding. I will review studies of the outer shocks in young Galactic SNRs using Chandra X-ray observations and discuss the nature of the winds and the progenitor stars.

  • The family Ulvaceae species are difficult to distinguish from one another on the basis of morphological and cytological criteria alone. ITS2 sequences are hewn to evolve quickly and have been reported to be useful for the study of intraspecific and interspecific variation and biogeography in algae (Bakker et al., 1992). We will here describe the basic characteristics of the ITS2 sequences in Ulva and Effteromorpha to compare our result with the above previous studies. (omitted)

  • E+A galaxies are interpreted as post-starburst systems because of strong Balmer absorption lines but any emission lines indicating the lack of current star formation activities, thus they are one of key populations for understanding how star formation activities evolve in galaxies. We present mid-infrared (MIR) spectral energy distributions of E+A galaxies using the Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) preliminary released data. Furthermore, we investigate the role of environment with respect to the MIR properties of E+A galaxies.

  • Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) refers to a process and related technologies that enable a person to safely suggest, verify, and record state changes (usually updates) to synchronize ledgers distributed across network nodes. DLTs are becoming increasingly important as data management requirements evolve. Therefore, they need to understand the current state of standards (such as distributed storage and access technologies) to address future requirements. This paper provides ITU-T FG-DLT standard activities, such as standardization ization trends, use cases, reference architectures, platform evaluation criteria and future prospects.

  • Many multiagents cooperative problems, such as table transport problem, require several emergent behaviors and a proper coordination of these is essential for successful accompishment of the task. We study in this paper the genetic programming method, called fitness switching, to evolve cooperation strategies of robots in these kind of tasks and show simulation results to demonstrate its effectiveness.

  • HI gas disks are known to be the largest ISM reservoir in most late type galaxies. When the HI properties of galaxies such as total mass, density, and distribution change, the galaxies may evolve quite differently. In this talk, I will present two groups of galaxies, one undergoing HI stripping and one accreting more gas. I will discuss causes of gas stripping and accretion, and possible consequences in galaxy evolution.
