In this paper I applies Borer (1993)'s way of classifying English intransitive action verbs such as 'run', walk, among many others, to the corresponding Korean intransitive action verbs such as 'tali-ta' and 'keət-ta', and show how they are different from - or similar with - each other in terms of syntactic structures and verb classification. Unlike the English verb 'run' which can be classified into an unaccusative verb as well as an unergative verb in Borer's theory, the corresponding Korean verbs 'tali-ta' or 't'wi-ta' can behave not only as an unergative and unauucsative verb, but also it can behave as a transitive verb. Though Borer's perspective on classification of verb types may be thought of as somewhat radical mostly due to its heavy dependency on aspectual representation of a whole sentence which a verb is just part of, it is clearly suggesting a new and great insight into the controversial topic of classification of verb types. So it is worth adopting this insightful perspective for the analysis of corresponding Korean verbs and seeing if it also works for the Korean ones.

In this paper collaboration of web-based distributed business systems is analyzed and the need of timely collaboration is derived and described in terms of inter-organizational contracts. A method of event-condition-action (ECA) rule based timely collaboration to meet the need and an active functionality component (AFC) to provide the method are proposed. The proposed method supports high level rule programming and event-based immediate processing so that system administrators and programmers can easily maintain the timely collaboration independently to the application logic. The proposed AFC uses HTTP protocol to be applied through firewalls. It is implemented using basic trigger facilities of a commercial DBMS for practical purpose.
This study is for an effective response as the pre-stage for railway agencies to prepare the rail road kind based emergency response standard operation procedures when the emergency event occurs. Accordingly, I would like to increase the utility in helping the railroad employees to make their decisions. And that is possible through suggesting them to make computerized Emergency situation based activity and Emergency response that is individual based. And of course all of this procedure would be based on the emergency event categorized response scenario.

This paper proposes a product data model that can express and enforce integrity constraints on product structure during engineering changes (ECs). The model adopts and extends an active object-oriented database model in order to Integrate IC data and their integrity constraints. Tightly integrated with product structure, It will enable designers to maintain and exchange consistent EC data throughout the product life cycle. In order to properly support operations for ECs, the model provides the data, operations, and Event-Condition-Action rules for nested ECs and simultaneous EC applications to multiple options. in addition, the EC objects proposed In the model integrate the data and Integrity constraints into a unified repository. This repository enables designers to access all EC data and integrity constraints through the product structure and relationships between EC objects. This paper also describes a prototype product data management system based on the proposed model In order to demonstrate its effectiveness.

There has been significant progress in the development of timed process algebra for the specification and analysis of real-time systems in recent years. ACSR is a timed process algebra, which supports synchronous timed actions and asynchronous instantaneous events. Timed actions model the usage of shared resources and the passage of time, whereas events allow synchronization between processes. To be able to specify real-time systems more effectively, this paper suggests the notion of probabilities. This paper also illustrates extended PACSR with a typical resource allocation system and its deadlock specification and analysis.

In this study, we conducted a pilot study on the multiple spurious operations (MSO) analysis in the fire probabilistic safety assessment (PSA) of domestic nuclear power plant (NPP) to identify the degree of influence of the operator actions used in the MSO mitigation strategies. The MSO scenario of the domestic reference NPP selected for this study is refueling water tank (RWT) drain down event. It could be caused by spurious operations of the containment spray system (CSS) of the reference NPP. The RWT drain down event can be stopped by the main control room (MCR) operator actions for stopping the operation of CSS pump or closing the CSS motor operated valve if the containment spray actuation signal (CSAS) is spuriously actuated. Outside the MCR, it can be stopped by operator actions for closing the CSS manual valves or motor operated valve or stopping the operation of CSS pump. The quantification result of a fire PSA model that takes into account all recovery actions for the RWT drain down event lead to risk reduction by about 95%, compared with quantification result of fire PSA model without considering them. Among the various operator actions, the recovery action for the spurious CSAS operations and the operator action for the manual valve are identified as the most important operator actions. This study quantitatively showed the extent to which the operator actions used as MSO countermeasures have affected the fire PSA quantification results. In addition, we can see the rank of importance among the operator recovery actions in quantitative terms.

Necessity of the tole-operation has been increased in many fields. Since the Internet is inexpensive and available all over the world, it is a strong candidate for the transmission media of the tole-operation. However, the Internet has random time delays that may cause instability in the system especially if the tole -operation is bilateral. In the past few years many attempts have been made to overcome the random time delay, So far, they are still insufficient in terms of performance. The ‘Variable holding time’ is introduced to improve the performance of the ‘Event based tole-operation’ which controls a system with a non-time action reference. By holding each event for proper time, the system can quickly respond and be stabilized. The proper holding time should be selected based on the characteristics of the task that the system performs. The factors that reflect those characteristics are investigated. The fuzzy logic is employed to obtain the proper holding time for each event while the tole-operation system is in operation. The experimental results presented in this paper verify effectiveness of the proposed method.

Event-based service technology integrate service to detect events that occur in real time by analyzing the response. Is the core technology for real-time business and ubiquitous service environment construction. Is required event-based service technology on business processes in real-time business environment that providing rapid response to changing and custom service using a variety of information real-time monitoring and analysis in ubiquitous service environment. Last event-driven business processes can be used as a CEP(Complex Event Processing). The core of CEP technology, the event from multiple event sources analysis of events affecting and the way to handle action, is detect complex event to user. In previous studies, an event occurs that continue to perform without the need for partial operations. so many operations and spend a lot of memory is a problem. To solve these problems, event detection technique is proposed that large streams of data without processing any events, registered to configure a complex event occurs when all events in the application layer, complex event processing. The proposed method, first using a bitmap index to manage the event occurs. The complex events of the last event in response to define a trigger event. The occurrence of an event to display a bitmap index, a composite event occurrence of all event to configure the test through the point at which a trigger event occurs. Is proposed, If any event occurs to perform the operation. The proposed scheme perform operations when all event occurs without events having to perform each of the tests. As a result, avoid unnecessary operations and reducing the number of events to handle the increased efficiency of operations.

The Gas Regulator EVENT is a signal sent by the Remote Terminal Unit(RTU) installed in each local gas regulator (hereinafter referred to as "regulator"), and is an abnormal alarm that can be intuitively checked in our client server. This is an important data that enables immediate dispatch order and initial action in the situation room when a regolator abnormality occurs, and can analyze the cause of the regulator abnormality. Looking at the trend of EVENT data for regulator over the past three years, there is a clear trend of increasing unchecked EVENT data. The increase in non-checking event (actual abnormality or noise event) may mean that firstly, mechanical or pressure abnormality occurs in the actual regulator, and secondly, there is no abnormality in the actual regulator, but communication error occurred in the RTU, reset. EVENT Data may be formed as if an abnormality occurred in the static voltage due to an error, sensor error, power failure (instantaneous power failure), etc. Among them, this study analyzed the recently generated unchecked EVENT data to identify critical noise events among RTU errors, which are noise events, and reviewed ways to increase the reliability of Regulator EVENTs by reducing them.
The common features of the behavioral inhibition and the action monitoring that are considered as one of the executive functions were investigated using event-related brain potentials (ERPs) and source localization analysis. The electrophysiological correlates of behavioral inhibition and action monitoring ate analyzed when the subjects performed the Go/NoGo task. Two ERP components of behavioral inhibition termed as N200 and P300 in NoGo condition were differ from those of Go condition, that is the amplitudes of NoGo N200 and P300 are largest on the fronto-central region, which may reflect the inhibitory control of frontal lobe required in NoGo condition. The error-related negativity (ERN) observed on the fronto-central region when the subjects committed error was much larger in amplitude and faster in latency than those of the correct-related negativity (CRN), which may indicate that the signal of action monitoring is much more required for the error response. The correlation analysis for the ERP components of behavioral inhibition and action monitoring revealed the significant negative correlation among the latencies of NoGo N200 and P300 and the amplitude of ERN, which may reflects that the faster subjects inhibit response, the more monitor their own action. The close relationship between behavioral inhibition and action monitoring was also supported by the results of source localization analysis, which showed the common neural sources of NoGo N200 and ERN was anterior cingulate cortex.
