Abnormal Step Recognition for Pedestrian Danger Recognition (보행자의 위험인지를 위한 비정상 걸음인식)

  • Various attempts have been made to prevent crime risk. One of the cases where outdoor pedestrians are attacked by criminals is the abnormal health condition. When a mental or mental condition that can not sustain normal walking due to drunkenness is exposed, the case of being a crime is revealed through crime case analysis. In this study, we propose a method for estimating the state of an individual that can be detected in outdoor activities. In order to avoid the inconvenience of installing a separate terminal for event information transmission of sensors and sensors, it is possible to estimate an abnormal state by using a 3-axis acceleration sensor built in a smart phone. The state of the user can be estimated by analyzing the momentum of the user and analyzing it with the passage of time. It is possible to distinguish the flow of time at regular intervals, to recognize the activity patterns in each time band, and to distinguish between normal and abnormal. In this study, we have evaluated the total amount of kinetic energy and kinetic energy in each direction of the acceleration sensor and the Fourier transformed value of the total energy amount to distinguish the abnormal state.

Definition Sentences Recognition Based on Definition Centroid

  • This paper is concerned with the problem of recognizing definition sentences. Given a definition question like "Who is the person X?", we are to retrieve the definition sentences which capture descriptive information correspond variously to a person's age, occupation, of some role a person played in an event from the collection of news articles. In order to retrieve as many relevant sentences for the definition question as possible, we adopt a centroid based statistical approach which has been applied in summarization of multiple documents. To improve the precision and recall performance, the weight measure of centroid words is supplemented by using external knowledge resource such as Wikipedia and redundant candidate sentences are removed from candidate definitions. We see some improvements obtained by our approach over the baseline for 20 IT persons who have high document frequency.

  • The "stamp rally" is an event that participants go the round with predetermined points for the purpose of collecting stamps. They bring the stamp card to these points. They, however, sometimes leave or lose the card. In this case, they may not reach the final destination of the stamp rally. The purpose of this research is the construction of the stamp rally system which distinguishes each participant with his or her hand instead of the stamp card. We have realized our method distinguishing a hand posture by the image processing. We have also evaluated it by 30 examinees. Furthermore, we have designed the data communication between the server and the checkpoint to implement our whole system. We have also designed and implemented the process for the registering participant, the passing checkpoint and the administration.

Reactor Condition Monitoring via Wavelet Transform De-noising

  • Wavelets are localized in space and in frequency. This localization properties result from the multiresolution analysis of wavelets. The wavelet transform can be used to detect singularity of dynamic systems after the signal is de-noised. We applied the wavelet transform decomposition and do-noising procedures to the Hanaro dynamics consisting of 39 nonlinear differential equation plus Gaussian noise. The numerical tests demonstrate that the wavelet transform de-noising is effective for detection of the abrupt reactivity change and computationally efficient. Thus this wavelet theory could be profitably utilized in a real-time system for automatic event recognition (e.g., reactor condition monitoring).

  • 본 논문은 객체로부터 특징 벡터를 추출하고 각 객체의 행동 양식을 분석함으로써 객체의 현재 이벤트를 인식하고 확률 모델을 기반으로 한 긴급한 상황에서의 시나리오를 해석할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 연구에서는 시나리오 해석을 위한 이벤트 인식 방법을 사용하였기 때문에 적용되는 범위가 한정되어 있었다. 본 논문에서는 시나리오를 정의하고 인식된 객체의 이벤트를 바탕으로 미리 정의된 시나리오에 가장 근접하는 상황이 발생하는 것을 자동으로 해석할 수 있도록 한다. 이벤트 규칙, 이벤트 인식, 그리고 이벤트를 바탕으로 하는 긴급 상황 시나리오가 실내 또는 실외 환경에서 객체 추적만을 통해 얻을 수 없는 의미론적 정보를 제안된 방법을 통해 획득할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 실내 또는 실외 환경에서의 비전 감시 시스템에 응용할 객체의 이벤트 인식 방법을 정의한다. 객체의 이벤트를 실시간으로 적용하기 위해서는 연산 시간이 적어야하며 이벤트 인식 정확률 또한 높아야 한다. 기존의 규칙 또는 확률 기반 이벤트 인식 방법은 객체의 움직임 이벤트에 대해 한정적이거나 객체의 특징 벡터 추출이 규칙에 어긋나는 경우 오류가 발생하여 이벤트 인식의 정확도가 떨어지는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 시간의 흐름에 따른 독립 객체의 특징 벡터와 확률 정보를 통해 정해진 규칙에 가장 가까운 상황에 대해 계속적으로 이루어지는 이벤트 인식 방법을 제안한다.

Design of Kinetic Typography Interaction based on the Structural Characteristics of Hangul

  • Kinetic typography is technology such as color, scale, position of the letter changes dynamically with time and it communicates information with aesthetics and originality. The purpose of this study is to identify the design factors in the formativeness of Hangul and present and implement the interaction design method of unique Hangul kinetic typography based on the scientific structure of Hangul. We implemented the Hangul kinetic typography system, which varies in sizes and motion directions according to a viewer's movement and exhibited in a media art event. To do this, we used a viewer's skeleton information on typography synchronization. The results indicated that Hangul kinetic typography has potential not only as a means to communicate with viewers but also as a medium to show the artistic value of Hangul.

A Study on the Visitor's Satisfaction Decisive Factors of the Local Festival : In Case of Jeonju International Film Festival

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the factor of determination on satisfaction level of the Jeonju International Film Festival. A study is analysed through research that is consisted of satisfaction factor#s items of 32 local festival visitor to study factors of determination of local festival visitor#s satisfaction level. This research data extracted 6 factors, which are access and souvenir, food/lodging, information/service, event/pastime, and convenient facilities. In conclusion, the festival is likely to attract more tourists and make them satisfied if better content of the festival is provided. There, most of the tourists need to becoming cleared to be satisfied due to its values of culture recognition through various contents of the festival, fun factors, food/lodging factors, and various programs.

  • CEN/TS 45545 is Europe consolidation standard for fire safety on railway behicles. This is based on the International Union of Railways(UIC) and different European countries. It is intended to protect passengers and staff in railway in the event of a fire on board. It will be prepared in 2012. Based on this consolidate standard, they are going to make single market, for raising technical competitiveness, technical innovation and globalization of that standard. For this reason, European academies, manufacturers, and sub-manufacturers confer and stady animated about CEN/TS 45545. In Korea, get out the safety assessment for ues incombustible interior material, the needs of quantitative analysis on fire protection, demand on recognition of fire protection scenario, and define about fire load analysis are becomin more and more important. Therefore, this paper will estimate and compare Flammability, Smoke Density, Toxicity Index( this is the key point for appraised fire safety performance of material) between CEN/TS45545 and fire standards on railway vehicle. Then suggest criteria for fire safety on railway vehicles.
