병원간호사의 감정노동과 사회적 지지가 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (Affecting Factors of Hospital Nurses' Emotional Labor and Social Support on Organizational Commitment)

  • Purpose: The study is to identify a correlation among hospital nurses' emotional labor, social support and organizational commitment and to analyze the effects on organizational commitment. Methods: The participants are 300 nurses working at two general hospitals located in Gyeonggi-do, who agreed to join the study. Data collection were done from July to September in 2014. The collected data are analyzed a descriptive statistic, t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression and SPSS/WIN 15.0 Program was used in the process. Results: Organizational commitment was negatively correlated with emotional works but it was positively correlated with social support. The factors affecting organizational commitment were informational support and evaluative support which were sub-domain of social support as well as level of emotional expression which was a sub-domain of emotional works, their positions and level of education. Conclusion: To increase the level of an organizational commitment, a method of coping in difficult situations and information relating to private assessments is recommended. Also, the organization should prepare a plan that members can properly manage their emotions face-to-face with clients.

부모의 이혼여부 및 아동의 연령에 따른 아동의 사회적 지지 지각과 내면화 문제 (Perceived Social Support and Internalizing Problems of Children from Divorced and Non-divorced Families)

  • This study identified which aspects of perceived social support influence children's internalizing problems. The participants were 91 children from divorced families and 87 children from non-divorced families. They completed a questionnaire assessing the level of perceived social support and their teacher rated their internalizing problems(withdrawal, depression/anxiety) on K-CBCL scale. Sixth graders from non-divorced families perceived evaluative support higher than sixth graders from divorced families. In withdrawal, third graders from divorced families were rated higher than preschooler and sixth graders by their teacher. In depression/anxiety, third graders from divorced families were rated higher than sixth graders by their teacher. Internalizing problems of children from divorced families were affected by their perceived emotional support. Namely, children from divorced families who perceived less emotional support experienced more withdrawal and depression/anxiety.

미혼모의 양육 스트레스 영향요인: 우울, 사회적 지지, 건강지각을 중심으로 (Factors Influencing Unmarried Mothers' Parenting Stress: Based on Depression, Social Support, and Health Perception)

  • Purpose: To identify factors affecting parenting stress of unmarried mothers. Methods: The subjects were 108 unmarried women who were parenting their children under the age of six. The data was collected from December 15, 2016 to March 5, 2017. The instruments consisted of self-reported questionnaires that included93 items: 21 on depression, 16 on social support, 20 on health perception, and 36 on parenting stress. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlations, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: The factors influencing parenting stress were health perception (${\beta}=-.55$, p<.001), evaluative support (${\beta}=-.42$, p=.005), informative support (${\beta}=-.35$, p=.040), emotional support (${\beta}=-.24$, p=.045), partner support (${\beta}=-.20$, p=.048), and depression (${\beta}=.14$, p=.033), and the explanatory power was 57%. Conclusion: In order to alleviate the parenting stress of unmarried mothers, it is necessary to develop programs considering the physical, psychological, and social factors of unmarried mothers. Their subjective assessment of their health can increase or decrease their parenting stress, so it is necessary to develop parenting-stress intervention focusing on health perception.

ADHD성향 아동과 지지체계를 대상으로 한 통합적 지원 프로그램에 대한 평가 연구 (An Evaluative Study on the Integrated Support Program for Children with ADHD Tendencies and Their Social Support System)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 ADHD성향 아동과 지지체계를 대상으로 한 통합적 지원 프로그램의 영향을 평가하려는 것이다. ADHD성향 아동과 지지체계의 변화를 목표로 ADHD성향 아동과 그를 둘러싼 가족 중심의 환경체계에 대한 개입을 중심으로 한 프로그램을 설계하고 수행하였다. 구체적으로는 ADHD성향 아동에 대한 개별 미술심리치료, 집단생활적응력향상프로그램, 문화체험을 진행하였으며, 부모에게 개별상담 제공과 학교 및 교사와의 정기적인 네트워크 회의를 실시하였다. 세부프로그램별로 표준화된 척도와 기록물, 면접 등을 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석한 결과, ADHD성향 아동의 심리 정서적 안정과 문제행동의 감소라는 변화가 나타났으며, 지지체계의 구성원들에게는 ADHD성향 아동의 변화가능성을 확인하고 긍정적으로 인식하는 계기를 제공해주는 효과가 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 ADHD성향 아동에 대한 지원시 주변환경에 대한 개입과 지지체계 구축을 통해 통합적으로 지원할 필요성이 있음을 확인하였으며, 이와 관련된 실천 지침들을 제언하였다.

Information Dissemination During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Bangladesh

  • The main aim of this study is to identify the role of information dissemination on urban and rural citizens of Bangladesh during the COVID-19 pandemic and the role of misinformation in this process. The study also aimed at finding appropriate counter misinformation strategies regarding COVID-19. An online questionnaire was prepared to collect the viewpoints of the urban and rural citizens of Bangladesh regarding dissemination of information during COVID-19, misinformation regarding COVID-19, and counter misinformation strategies. Along with demographic and general information, a five-point Likert scale was used to measure COVID-19 related misinformation beliefs and how to counter them. Chi square tests were used to determine the association between current residency, information sources, the importance of information dissemination, reactions after getting COVID related information, and evaluative steps after getting information and before disseminating it. Additionally, nonparametric Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis tests were conducted to know the significance of difference in respondents' assessment on COVID-19 related misinformation in terms of their demographic characteristics. Cronbach's alpha score was obtained to see the reliability of the questionnaire items. The current study reveals that both urban and rural citizens of Bangladesh are influenced by information dissemination regarding COVID-19 and they have lower level of misinformation belief. The respondents have differences in misinformation belief by different demographic groups. Respondents' educational status, information literacy, sources of getting information, and evaluative steps after getting information have significant differences in misinformation belief. The study also noticed the support of respondents for countering misinformation strategies regarding COVID-19.

여성결혼이민자의 사회적 지지와 관련 변인 메타분석 (A Meta-Analysis of the Variables Related with Social Support for Female Marriage Immigrants)

  • This research aims to integrate study results through a meta-analysis of previous studies on the variables related with social support for female marriage immigrants. Based on the results, this study established the foundation of an integrated social support system for female marriage immigrants which considers both the functional perspective and structural perspective of social support, and suggested plans for an efficient support system. All social support was positively associated with female marriage immigrants marriage life, child-rearing behavior and attitude, reduction of stress and depression and psychological stability. In relation to the effect size of each variable related with all social support, the marriage variable had the biggest relationship with it, followed by the parenting variable, the psychological variable and the stress variable in that order. With reference to the relationship with related variables according to the sub-domain of social support, from the structural perspective, spousale support showed a high relationship with the marriage variable and the stress variable. It was also especially, very highly related with the marriage variable. In addition, a married woman's family support and expert support had an intermediate relationship with the marriage variable, and the husband's family support and friend support had a low relationship with it. From the functional perspective, material support had a very high relationship with the marriage variable, whereas it had a low relationship with the stress variable and the psychological variable. Emotional support was also highly related with marriage variable, but showed an intermediate or low relationship with the psychological variable and the stress variable. On the other hand, informational support displayed an intermediate relationship with the stress variable and the psychological variable, and a high relationship with the marriage variable. Lastly, evaluative support had a high relationship with the marriage variable and the psychological variable. Based on these results, this study proposed plans for an integrated social support system as follows. First, education ought to be provided for the spouses, and support for marital adjustment should be offered. Second, there plans should be made for continuous bonding with the family of origin, and support should be given to address changes in awareness of the relationship with the husband's parents. Third, it is required to revitalize the local community and self-help groups, and provide the female marriage immigrants with opportunities to participate in social activities.

Adolescent Consumer Segmentation According to Retailer Patronage in the School Uniform Market

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate differences in purchase behaviors for school uniforms among adolescent consumer groups which were segmented by the type of retailer they patronized. An online survey was carried out and 907 data sets were analyzed using SPSS. The results support that classifying adolescent consumers according to what type of retailers they patronize lead to a proper understanding of the segmentation of the school uniform market. The adolescent consumers consisted of five groups categorized by the retailer types. These types included special stores, department stores, discount stores, small custom-made stores and stores designated by schools. The results also indicated that consumer groups segmented by retailer patronage differ significantly in their use of multimedia information sources. Five consumer groups showed significant differences in two purchase evaluative criteria: utilities and promotions.

  • An understanding of consumers' evaluative processes and the consumer variables that influence cross-cultural evaluations of foreign products is essential to effectively penetrate international markets. This study compared consumers in two developing countries, Korea and Mexico, regarding their product evaluations and purchase intentions for US Levi's jeans. Both Korean and Mexican consumers are generally quality and price conscious. Korean consumers appeared to be more value-conscious than Mexican consumers. Mexican consumers exhibited high level of brand and prestige conscious behavior. Findings in this study support that culture bound consumer characteristics vary from country to country resulting in differences in perception of quality, value and purchase intentions for a particular product. The perception of product quality differs from perception of value and subsequent willingness to buy. For a comprehensive understanding of consumer purchase behavior, the impact of value-conscious attitude on percetion of quality and on purchase intentions should be examined.

청소년이 지각하는 공감능력, 또래지지가 행복감에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Adolescents' Perceived Empathy and Peer Support on Happiness)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 청소년이 지각하는 공감능력, 또래지지가 행복감에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 있다. 연구대상은 U시 청소년 113명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 분석방법은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 청소년이 지각하는 공감능력이 행복감에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 공감능력의 하위요인인 인지적 공감, 정서적 공감 요인은 행복감에 긍정적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 공감능력의 인지적 공감 요인이 행복감에 더 영향력이 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 청소년의 또래지지와 행복감과의 관계는 또래지지 하위요인인 정서적지지, 도구적지지 요인은 행복감에 긍정적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 또래지지의 하위요인인 정보적지지, 평가적지지 요인은 행복감에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 정서적지지 요인이 도구적지지 요인보다 행복감에 더 영향력이 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이는 청소년이 지각하는 공감능력과 또래지지가 높을수록 행복감이 높아진다는 것을 의미는 것이다. 본 연구의 시사점은 청소년의 행복감 증진을 위한 교육프로그램 마련의 기초자료가 될 것으로 사료된다.

보육교사의 개인변인, 회복탄력성, 사회적 지지의 관계 (The Relationship among Child Care Teachers' Personal Characteristics, Resilience and Social Support)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 개인변인, 회복탄력성, 사회적 지지의 관계를 규명하기 위해 실시되었다. 강원지역 어린이집에 재직 중인 154명의 보육교사를 대상으로 조사를 수행하였고, 회복탄력성 질문지(이정현, 2013)와 사회적 지지 설문지(이재영, 2012)를 사용하였다. 결과 처리를 위해 빈도분석, 신뢰도 검증, t-검증, ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$의 사후검증, Pearson의 적률상관분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사의 경력, 연령, 기관유형, 결혼유무에 따른 회복탄력성의 하위변인과 전체에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 즉 7년 이상의 경력교사가 3년 이하와 4-6년 경력교사 보다 회복탄력성 전체와 긍정성을 유의하게 높게 경험하였다. 25세 이하 교사 보다 46세 이상 교사가 회복탄력성 전체를 유의하게 높게 형성하였고, 자기조절능력은 25세 이하 교사 보다 41-45세 교사가, 긍정성은 41-45세와 46세 이상 교사가 25세 이하의 경우 보다 각각 유의하게 높게 형성하였다. 가정어린이집 교사가 법인어린이집 교사에 비해 회복탄력성 전체와 긍정성을 높게 형성하였고, 기혼 집단이 미혼 집단 보다 회복탄력성 전체, 자기조절능력, 긍정성을 높게 형성하였다. 반면 학력에서는 집단 간 유의차가 없었다. 둘째, 보육교사의 사회적 지지와 회복탄력성 간의 관계는 각 하위변인 및 전체 간 모두 정적으로 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 셋째, 사회적 지지가 보육교사의 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향을 보면, 물질적 지지는 긍정성과 회복탄력성 전체에 유의한 정적 영향을 주었고, 평가적 지지는 자기조절능력과 대인관계능력, 긍정성, 회복탄력성 전체에 유의한 정적 영향력을 주었다. 연구결과 보육교사의 회복탄력성을 향상시키기 위해 다양한 사회적 지지를 강화해야 함과 동시에 개인변인들을 함께 고려해야 함을 시사 받을 수 있다.
