This study aimed at developing an accelerated collection method that reduces measurement and collection time by improving and complementing the desiccator method, which is mainly used for quality control in wood-based panels and furniture production sites. First, this study measured the formaldehyde emissions from the wood-based panels by grade using the desiccator method. Further, this study compared the desiccator method with the developed process and analyzed the correlation in optimal temperature, time, and exposed area. The results showed that the developed process resulted in relatively similar outcomes in comparison to the desiccator method when the temperature was $100^{\circ}C$, the time was 1 h, and two specimens were used, at which the correlation was high. To verify the developed process, this study commissioned Korea Conformity Laboratories with the standardized temperature, time, and the number of specimens to compare them with the specimen that was not used in the actual test. As a result, the correlation to the desiccator method was shown to be very high. However, the formaldehyde emission measured by the accelerated collection process was mostly higher than that measured by the desiccator method. The formaldehyde emission grades from several specimens were one level higher. However, from the perspectives of quality control, it was determined that the accelerated collection method developed in this study could be sufficiently used.

This study is to evaluate the economies of scale of the public libraries in metropolitan cities. The results of the regression analysis confirm that for all samples of libraries there is diseconomies of scale in library operations (${\Sigma}b_{n}$≒6.14∼10.91). Therefore, all the types of public libraries should be improve productivity by user-based collection development, increasing circulation turnover rate, activation of in-library use, strengthening mobile library services, rational planning of services area, development of reading programs connected with the curriculum, a new branch library plans, etc.

In the patients with hematologic and solid tumors. clinical application of peripheral blood stem cells (PBSCs) increases to reconstitute hematopoiesis after high-dose chemotherapy. To mobilize PBSCs. the hematopietic growth factors have been widely used as single treatment or after chemotherapy. The important issue in the collection of PBSCs is to predict their potential capability to reconstitute hematopoiesis. which depends on optimal time of leukapheresis and the quantity of collected PBSCs. Recently, local governments have started projects of implementing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as an infrastructure for the collection, storage, and analysis of the spatial information. So far, these projects have been approached from the areas such as the civil engineering and the computer science perspectives. Nonetheless, in order for a GIS project to be successful, it should be approached from the management perspectives as well. In this paper, the authors discusses about the management issues such as the determination of priority of the sub-projects, the organizational structure that takes charge of the project and the evaluation of the performance of the project.

This study evaluates the problems with various aspects of Korean mail carrier uniforms. It is sponsored by the as part of a 2002 research project. This research project is 'A study on mail collection and delivery environment based on ergonomics'. One of the most urgent tasks to create a better work environment is improvement of mail carrier uniforms. Improved uniforms will result in improved job performance and satisfaction.

본 연구에서는 사용자의 질의에 대해 대답을 제시하는 질의응답시스템의 평가를 위한 테스트컬렉션을 구축하였다. 질의응답시스템 평가를 위한 테스트컬렉션은 207,067개의 문서, 90개의 질의, 각 질의에 대한 적합성 판정 집합으로 구성되어 있다. 문서집합은 신문기사로 SGML형식으로 가공되었고, 질의는 다양한 유형의 질의와 변형질의를 포함한다. 적합성 판정 집합은 각 질의에 대해서 문서에 대답을 포함하는지의 여부에 따라 적합/부적합으로 판정하였고, 적합한 문서에 대해서는 대답을 표시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 구축된 질의응답시스템 평가를 위한 테스트컬렉션은 질의응답시스템의 객관적인 신뢰성 평가를 위한 기반을 마련하였다.

The advantage of internet survey compared to the traditional survey methods are speedy in data collection, cost-effective, high performed design and able to data process and analysis at the same time. The other side are difficult to select sample, come from serious nonresponse errors. We suggest the new internet survey method to the questionnaire design that have the high response rate, enough to advanced preparations and system stability.

Along with the advancement of deep learning technology, securing high-quality dataset for verification of developed technology is emerging as an important issue, and developing robust deep learning models to the domestic road environment is focused by many research groups. Especially, unlike expressways and automobile-only roads, in the complex city driving environment, various dynamic objects such as motorbikes, electric kickboards, large buses/truck, freight cars, pedestrians, and traffic lights are mixed in city road. In this paper, we built our dataset through multi camera-based processing (collection, refinement, and annotation) including the various objects in the city road and estimated quality and validity of our dataset by using YOLO-based model in object detection. Then, quantitative evaluation of our dataset is performed by comparing with the public dataset and qualitative evaluation of it is performed by comparing with experiment results using open platform. We generated our 2D dataset based on annotation rules of KITTI/COCO dataset, and compared the performance with the public dataset using the evaluation rules of KITTI/COCO dataset. As a result of comparison with public dataset, our dataset shows about 3 to 53% higher performance and thus the effectiveness of our dataset was validated.

This study, a sub-one of comprehensive research works titled under "Rural Resources Evaluation System", tried to verify utility/applicability of the developed model system through the case study works on 3 sample villages, Backya, Uyan and Suyu, representing the lowland, upland and seashore villages respectively. From the various surveying and collecting works including the official/statistical data collection, map analysis, in-situ investigation, field survey and written material review, the original data set were obtained and manipulated into final input data for resources grading. After then, by the automatized calculation procedure of "Rural Resources Evaluation System", score results for resources evaluation were finally produced with the total maximum score being 1,000. Through comparing works among score results of 3 case villages and between score results and areal characteristics of each case village, the applicability of the system developed in this study was well confirmed.
