엔진 구동형 니켈 티타늄 파일을 이용한 거터퍼쳐의 제거 효과 (THE EFFECT OF GUTTA-PERCHA REMOVAL USING NICKEL-TITANIUM ROTARY INSTRUMENTS)

  • The purpose of this study was to quantify the amount of remaining gutta-percha/sealer on the walls of root canals when three types of nickel-titanium rotary instruments (Profile. ProTaper and $K^3$) and a hand instrument(Hedstrom file) used to remove these materials. The results of this study were as follows: 1. In the total time for gutta-percha removal. Profile group was the fastest and followed by $K^3$, Protaper, Hedstrom file group. 2. In case of the evaluation of the volume of remained gutta-percha from radiograph. $K^3$ group got the highest score and followed by Protaper. Hedstrom file. Profile group in the apical 1/3. 3. In case of the evaluation of the volume of gutta-percha remained from stereomicroscope, $K^3$ group got the highest score and followed by Protaper. Hedstrom file. Profile group in the apical 1/3. These results showed that instrumentation using nickel-titanium rotary instrument groups was faster than that using hand instrument group. The effect of gutta-percha removal using Profile group was better than that using Protaper and $K^3$ group in the nickel-titanium rotary instrument groups.

Adaptive Extraction Method for Phase Foreground Region in Laser Interferometry of Gear

  • Tooth surface shape error is an important parameter in gear accuracy evaluation. When tooth surface shape error is measured by laser interferometry, the gear interferogram is highly distorted and the gray level distribution is not uniform. Therefore, it is important for gear interferometry to extract the foreground region from the gear interference fringe image directly and accurately. This paper presents an approach for foreground extraction in gear interference images by leveraging the sinusoidal variation characteristics shown by the interference fringes. A gray level mask with an adaptive threshold is established to capture the relevant features, while a local variance evaluation function is employed to analyze the fluctuation state of the interference image and derive a repair mask. By combining these masks, the foreground region is directly extracted. Comparative evaluations using qualitative and quantitative assessment methods are performed to compare the proposed algorithm with both reference results and traditional approaches. The experimental findings reveal a remarkable degree of matching between the algorithm and the reference results. As a result, this method shows great potential for widespread application in the foreground extraction of gear interference images.

우울증 변증도구의 신뢰도, 타당도 평가 (Reliability and Validity Analysis of the Instrument on Pattern Identifications for Depression)

  • Objectives: This study was performed to evaluate the reliability and validity of the instrument on pattern identifications for depression. Methods: Two assessors carried out an evaluation about the instrument on pattern identifications for depression, targeting 201 participants, who after taking the HAM-D score over 12 or under 7 twice. Results: Inter-assessor reliability was higher than intra-assessor reliability in a reliability analysis about classification of pattern identification evaluated by the instrument on pattern identifications for depression. Reliability of intra-assessor and inter-assessor showed a moderate to strong agreement when reliability analysis about classification score of the pattern identification had been performed. Reliability analysis to evaluate the validity of the instrument on pattern identifications for depression showed moderate agreement. Conclusions: The results reveal that reliability analysis of the instrument on pattern identifications for depression showed an over moderate agreement and validity analysis represented a positive correlation.

과학 영재 학생들의 과학적 문제발견 능력을 측정하기 위한 도구 개발 (Development of an Instrument to Measure Scientific Problem-Finding Ability for Scientifically-Gifted Student)

  • 본 연구에서는 과학 영재 학생들의 과학적 문제발견 능력을 측정하기 위해 타당도와 신뢰도가 높은 검사 도구를 개발하였다. 먼저, 과학적 문제발견 능력에 대한 조작적 정의를 바탕으로 5개의 하위 평가 요소(적절성, 융통성, 독창성, 정교성, 가치 판단)를 선정하였으며 평가 기준을 구안하였다. 개발된 검사 도구는 내용 및 평가 기준에 대해 과학교육 전문가의 타당도 검증을 거친 후 과학 고등학교 학생들에게 투입되었으며, 채점 결과를 바탕으로 구인 타당도를 검증받았다. 또한 채점자간 신뢰도는 대체로 높게 나타났으며, 문항 난이도 와 변별도 역시 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 과학적 문제발견 능력에 대한 합의된 정의를 도출해내어야 하며 평가의 객관성을 확보하기 위한 더 나은 방안을 강구해야 한다.

임상 간호실습교육 평가도구 개발 (Development of Clinical Evaluation Tool for Nursing Student)

  • This study is intended to develop a reliable and appropriate instrument of the clinical nursing education. This research consisted of 4 steps. First step is construction of the content validity by 1 Korean literature professor and 1 teaching professor in Ga Chon Gil College, the pilot study for the content validity by 14 professors and survey with four points Likert Scale, which includes from the point 'strongly valid' to the point of 'strongly non-valid', by 113 head nurses who guide and evaluate the students in clinical practice. The third step is the test of validity and reliability of the preliminary evaluation tool. The fourth step is the test of validity and reliability of the developmental evaluation tool. The data were collected from Sep. 10th, 2001 to Sep. 28th, 2001. This study was analyzed by SPSS PC+ for descriptive statistics, factor analysis and Cronbach's Co-efficient Alpha of the collected data. The results of these analysis are like as follows. 1. Evaluation tool of Clinical practice consists of 16 items including four categories : factor 1 was labeled 'desirable attitude'(5 items), factor 2 was labeled 'correctly judgement and nursing problem solving'(4 items), factor 3 was labeled 'adaptive ability of nursing knowledge and skill'(4 items), factor 4 was labeled 'desirable human relationship'(3 items) and these contributed 71.992% of the variance in the total score. 2. Cronbach's Co-efficient Alpha for internal consistency was .9128 for the total 16 items. For further research, it need to develop a variable and reliable instrument of the student self-evaluation and instrument that based on community.

가족스트레스 측정 도구 개발 - 기혼 여성근로자를 대상으로 - (Development of a Questionnaire to Measure Family Stress among Married Working Women)

  • Purpose: Even though a number of studies have suggested that appropriate measuring instruments of family stress for working women have to be developed, the validity and reliability of the instruments used have not been consistently examined. The purpose of the present study was to develop a sensitive instrument to measure family stress for married working women, and to test the validity and reliability of the instrument. Method: The items generated for this instrument were drawn from a comprehensive literature review Twenty four items were developed through evaluation by 10 experts and twenty one items were finally confirmed through item analysis. Psychometric testing was preformed and confirmed with a convenient sample of 240 women employed in the industrial sector. Result: Four factors evolved by factor analysis, which explained 50.5% of the total variance. The first factor 'Cooperation' explained 28.1%, 2nd factor 'Satisfaction with relationships' 10.6%, 3rd factor 'Democratic and comfortable environment' 6.3%, and 4th factor 'Disturbance of own living' 5.5%, Cronbach's coefficient of this instrument was 0.86. Conclusion: The study supports the validity and reliability of the instrument.

  • 본 논문에서는 계기비행절차 설계 프로그램 개발 과정을 개괄적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 제품의 시장 경쟁력 강화를 위하여 외산 제품에 대하여 조사하고 분석하였다. 개발 요구조건 도출을 위하여 계기비행절차 설계 기준에 대하여 살펴보고, 소프트웨어 프로그램 개발 및 시험평가 과정에 대하여 설명하였다.

반사광을 이용한 다채널 임상화학분석기개발 (Development of a multi-channel clinical chemistry analyzer)

  • In this paper we report the device of a multi-channel clinical instrument developed for determi¬nation of the levels of the urinary urobilinogen, glucose, ketone, bilirubin, protein, ascorbic acid, nitrite, pH, occult-blood, specific gravity, and leukocytes semiquantitatively. The test parameters are expressed on the dry test strips as a range of color intensities by chemical reactions. The instrument measures the value of each substance by reading the reflectance light emanated from the test strips. We also designed the reagent strip cassette and loader in order to intercept the outside interference. The loader can be operated semi-automatically. The light source is consisted on light emitting diodes at three specific wavelengths (560 nm, 610 nm, 650 nm). Precision of the system was evaluated by testing a series of commercial control urine samples. Furthermore, the performance of the instrument was compared with two other test methods on the urine samples from 100 persons. Our results showed a good repeatability between tests and a satisfactory agreement between the readings by our instrument and visual evaluation.

  • Generally, instrument transformer of the core type have been used for measuring current. Because instrument transformer has defects, electronic instrument was appeasred. This paper is introduced a basic concept and thoery of electronic instrument and described the the simulation of core type CT and no saturation CT. The evaluation of CT models implemented using EMTP(Electro Magnetic Transients Program) was carried out. The result of comparison both core type CT and no saturation CT are presented.

Assessment of Students' Cognitive Conflicts and Anxiety

  • Cognitive conflict is well recognized as an important factor in conceptual change and is widely used in developing constructivism-based curricula. However, cognitive conflicts can also contribute to student anxiety during learning, which, when not properly addressed, can have negative impacts on students' motivation and achievement. Therefore, instructors need to be aware of the impacts of introducing cognitive conflicts in their instruction. We need a practical instrument that can help identify the existence and features of cognitive conflicts introduced by the instruction and the resulting anxiety. Based on the literature on studies of cognitive conflicts and student anxiety, we developed a quantitative instrument, the In-class Conflict and Anxiety Recognition Evaluation (iCARE), and used it to monitor the status of students' cognitive conflicts and anxiety in Physics by Inquiry (PBI) classes. In this paper, we introduce this instrument and present the types of information that can be obtained. Research and pedagogical values of this instrument are also discussed.
