주행시험기를 이용한 차륜의 안전성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Safety Evaluation of Wheel Using Roller Rig Tester)

  • The roller rig tester for safety performance evaluation of wheel derailment is a test facility which can give the test load condition to the test wheel, similar to the actual dynamic condition in actual running condition. This study describes the evaluation result on the durability of the resilient wheel equipped with the ring damper and the damping material, and installed in the half part of a full scaled bogie in combination with the primary spring when it rotates under the dynamic condition. The evaluation result on durability of resilient wheel after load test of 2 million cycles shows that the safety of wheel is not affected by the applied load in visual inspection and nondestructive test, however, in the bolt used for fastening the ring damper to the wheel the loosening was found. Accordingly the use of self-locking nut and washer is recommended.

  • Recent developments in Bridge Management Systems (BMS) and in Life-Cycle Cost (LCC) of bridges, have raised the need for evaluation procedure of future condition (Deterioration) of a bridge. Predicting future deterioration is not an easy task due to limited past data to extrapolate from and also due to difficulty in measuring actual deterioration such as section loss of steel on an actual steel bridge. Also, increase in live load and reduction of resistance are random variables, thus a probabilistic approach should be adopted for determining the future deterioration. Due to difficulties in evaluation of future deterioration on steel bridges, accepting uncertainties within a reasonable error, a deterministic procedure using bridge condition rating can be a useful tool for projection of future condition of bridges to identify repair and maintenance needs. The object of this paper is to determine applicability of evaluating deterioration of steel bridge components based on Bridge condition ratings. Bridge condition ratings of bridge components show wide variation for bridges of same age and does not directly correlate well with the age of the bridge and/or deterioration of the bridge. High uncertainty can be reduced by breaking down the rating and by sensitivity analysis. From refined condition rating data, generalized deterioration profile of structures based on age can be derived. Examples are shown for sample bridges in USA. Approximately, 3,000 short to medium span steel bridges were listed in the inventory database. Results show wide variation of rating factors but by subdividing the Bridge condition ratings for various categories general deterioration profiles of steel bridges can be determined.

노후 교량 유지관리를 위한 상부구조물의 상태평가 결과와 교량의 안전성 및 내하력과의 상관관계 분석 (Examination of Correlation between the Condition Evaluation Results of Superstructure and the Safety and Load-carrying Capacity of Bridges)

  • 최근 국내외적으로 노후화된 시설물이 증가함에 따라 사회인프라 공용시설물 유지관리에 대한 관심이 급증하고 있다. 사회인프라 공용시설물 중 교량은 인적 및 물적 통행량이 많은 안전성에 대한 중요도가 매우 높은 시설물이다. 교량의 유지관리를 위한 교량의 종합평가는 한국시설안전공단에서 제시된 상태평가와 안전성평가로 분류할 수 있다. 하지만, 3종 교량에 대해서는 현재 종합평가와 관련된 구체적인 기준이 따로 없는 실정이다. 일반적으로 교량의 상태평가 결과가 안전성평가 결과보다 낮게 평가되어, 실제적으로 교량의 종합평가는 상태평가 결과에 지배적이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 교량의 상부부재들간의 상태평가 지수를 비교 분석하고, 상태평가와 안전성 및 내하력 간의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 상태평가 결과와 교량의 안전성, 내하력 등의 성능평가 결과와의 상관관계를 분석함으로써 정량적이고 관련성이 높은 교량의 종합평가, 특히 3종 교량의 종합평가 기준 정립 시 활용할 수 있는 기초자료를 제시하고자 한다.

AHP 및 엔트로피 기법을 적용한 절리암반비탈면 상태평가항목의 가중치 연구 (A Study on the Weights of the Condition Evaluation of Rock Slope used in Entropy and AHP Method)

  • Many cut slopes are located along national roads, there were the collapse of cut slopes. In this study, the weights for condition evaluation of rock slopes was calculated using the entropy method and analytic hierachy process(AHP) method. The entropy analysis was performed using 95 cut slope data, and the AHP analysis was performed by a questionnaire to several expert. The weights based on analysis results were compared with evaluation weights of existing standard. As a result of this study, there was the difference of weights among the analytical methods. Later on, if this study's results is used to improvement current evaluation weights, it will be possible to perform the reliable condition evaluation.

노후 콘크리트 구조물의 실용적 유지관리를 위한 콘크리트 구조물 안전진단 지침 분석 (Analysis of Safety Evaluation Guidelines for Practical Maintenance of Existing Concrete Structures)

  • In South Korea, problems caused by material deterioration of time-worn concrete structures have been increased recently. Because severe material deterioration could damage the structure's safety, it's important to evaluate the old structure's condition and structural capacity regularly to keep its proper performance. The safety evaluation of concrete structures has been initiated and performed periodically since 1995 according to a guideline in accordance with a law in Korea. The guideline prescribes the evaluation types, intervals and methods of the target structure. A lot of cost and labor have been invested every year to carry out the regular safety evaluation. However, it's not clear that the current manual could inspect the old structure's condition and assess the structural capacity precisely. Thus, the verification study initiated to figure out the Korean safety evaluation manual's practicalness. First, the Korean manual was analyzed and then compared with that of other countries for concrete bridges which are representative concrete structure. After that, the previously written evaluation reports were collected and analyzed to find out how the safety evaluation has been carried out. Based on the study results, the parts requiring verification of the manual were drawn. A research program is in progress in order to verify the parts by performing tests with actual structural members from decommissioned concrete bridges.

  • The objective of this study is to enforce systematic evaluation on the present condition and ecosystem of coastal wetland to use frame of environmental indicators. For this, the indicators for evaluation of coastal wetland are established and are applied to the present condition. Then, the application possibility of this evaluation indicators and management method by group of coastal method are presented.

GPR 시험을 이용한 교량기초의 안전성 조사방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Safety Evaluation of Bridge Footings using GPR)

  • The footing of a bridge is a very essential part that support the whole load induced by the bridge itself and the traffic as well. However, once a bridge is built, the footing is buried under soil so the footing is invisible from outside. Therefore, the safety or condition of the footing is very difficult to estimate. Not only the length of the imbedded part of the footings but also the type of footings are unknown once the design record is gone. Some nondestructive techniques can be used to evaluate invisible part of the footings but the results have not been successful yet. Using GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar), which has been used for the nondestructive evaluation in military purposes, the condition assessment of the footings have been successfully conducted in this research. The field evaluation and laboratory tests have been conducted to find effective factors in the condition assessment of the footings. The equipment and basic theory of the GPR has been presented. The field test results show that the GPR can be successfully used for the safety evaluation of the footings. More test results and field data are needed for more precise evaluation of the footings.

농업용저수지 수문학적 안전성 평가 항목 및 지표 개발 (Development of Evaluation Items and Indicators for Hydrological Safety on Agricultural Reservoir)

  • 본 논문은 농업용저수지의 수문학적 안전성을 평가하기 위하여 평가 항목 및 지표를 설정하여 제시하였으며, 이를 위하여 전문가 집단을 대상으로 AHP 기법을 통해 평가 항목의 계층화를 통한 상대적인 중요도를 파악하였다. 연구 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째 평가항목의 계층구조는 2계층(상위, 하위)으로 구분하여 상위 평가항목은 6개(제체의 여유고, 여수로의 방류능력, 유지관리 상태, 하류하천 제방의 여유고, 잠재 홍수피해, 홍수량 산정 인자)를 선정하였고, 하위 평가항목 11개를 선정하였다. 둘째, 계층적의사결정법에 의하여 각 항목간 쌍대비교 설문과 일관성 검증을 통해 도출된 6개 상위 평가항목의 중요도는 유지관리 상태(상태평가 등급), 제체(비월류부)의 여유고, 여수로의 방류능력, 잠재 홍수피해, 홍수량 산정 인자, 하류하천 제방의 여유고 순으로 나타났다. 유지관리 상태(안전점검 상태평가 등급)가 농업용저수지 수문학적 안전성에 지배적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 농업용저수지의 수문학적 안전성 확보를 위해서는 단기적 방안으로 신속한 개선이 가능한 안전점검 상태평가 등급의 개선이 유용하며, 장기적으로 여수로 방류능력과 제체의 여유고를 확보하는 방안이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

미(美) NIST 보안성 자동평가프로토콜(SCAP)분석을 통한 공공기관의 정보보안관리실태 평가제도 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Information Security Management Condition Evaluation in Public Sector through the SCAP Analysis by NIST in U.S.)

  • The 129 public institutions in Korea are subject to Information Security Management Condition Evaluation (ISMCE) as a part of the government management evaluation system by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. ISMCE is started in 2006 with the central government institutions, and applied to the all public institutions in 2009. This evaluation is annually conducted by the National Intelligence Service through the site visits, and the number of the evaluated institutions is increasing year by year. However, the process of ISMCE - identifying existing vulnerabilities in the information system - is conducted manually. To improve this inconvenience, this paper introduces the various evaluation system in the major countries, especially in the United States, and analyzes the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) by NIST. SCAP is automation protocol for the system vulnerability management (in technical fields) and security policy compliance evaluation. Based on SCAP, this paper suggests an improvement plan for the ISMCE of Korea.

LNG 저장탱크 구조물의 종합적 상태평가기준 개발 (A Development of Representative Condition Evaluation Standard for LNG Storage Tank Structures)

  • LNG저장탱크가 노후화 됨에 따라 외벽 콘크리트에 균열, 철근부식 등 결함이 발생할 경우, 손상 종류 및 정도에 따라 구조물의 붕괴 등 대형사고 발생 위험이 존재하게 된다. LNG저장탱크는 2014년부터 정밀안전진단이 시작 되어 안전점검이 수행되고 있으며, 부재별 상태평가기준은 2016년 1월에 개정되어 적용하고 있다. 상태평가는 액화천연가스 저장탱크에 대한 외관 조사 및 재료시험 결과를 바탕으로 저장탱크에 대한 상태를 평가하는 것을 말하는 것으로 유지관리에 있어서 중요하다. 또한 각각의 LNG 저장탱크 대표상태를 나타내는 종합적 상태평가기준이 유지관리 시 중요하지만, LNG저장탱크 외조 콘크리트에 대한 관련 기준이 국내 외에 부재하여 상태평가 기준 개발 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 LNG 저장탱크 구조적 특성 검토, 부재별 상태평가 기준현황 분석, 부재별 가중치 부여를 통한 종합적 상태등급 산정 방안을 수립하였다. 부재별 가중치 산출은 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy process)기법을 이용하고 전문기관의 설문조사 등을 통해 종합적 상태평가 기준을 개발하였다.
