동적 콘관입 시험의 현장적용성 평가를 위한 현장 지지력시험 상호 비교 연구 (Comparison of Field Bearing Capacity Tests to Evaluate the Field Application of Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Test)

  • 포장하부구조의 지지력을 평가하기 위해 많이 사용되는 방법은 평판재하시험(Plate Bearing Test) 현장 CBR시험(California Bearing Ratio Test) 등이 있으나, 시험을 수행하는데 있어 많은 인력과 시간이 소비되는 단점이 있어, 많은 연구자들은 현장에서 포장하부구조의 강성을 측정할 수 있는 간편한 방법으로 동적 콘 관입시험(Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Test)을 제안하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 DCP의 현장적용성을 평가하기 위해, 총 4개 현장의 노상층과 보조기층에서 DCP, 평판재하시험, 현장CBR시험, FWD시험을 동시에 수행하여 그 결과를 상호 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 DCPI, $M{FWD},\;PBT\underline{\;}K_{30}$은 서로 일정한 상관관계가 존재하는 것으로 나타났으나, CBR은 다른 결과 값들과 비교한 결과 상관관계가 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이 결과로부터 $DCPI-M_{FWD},\;DCPI-PBT\underline{\;}K_{30}$ 관계식을 다음과 같이 제안하였다. $$M_{FWD}=993.10\Big(\frac{1}{DCPI}\Big)+33.95\;R^2=0.774$ $$M_{FWD}=3.7533K_{30}+23.085\;R^2=0.69$$

CNN 모델 평가를 위한 이미지 데이터 증강 도구 개발 (Development of an Image Data Augmentation Apparatus to Evaluate CNN Model)

  • CNN 모델이 이미지 분류와 객체 탐지 등 여러 분야에 활용됨에 따라, 자율주행자동차와 같이 안전필수시스템에 사용되는 CNN 모델의 성능은 신뢰할 수 있어야 한다. 이에 CNN 모델이 다양한 환경에서도 성능을 유지하는지 평가하기 위해 배경을 변경한 이미지를 생성하는 이미지 데이터 증강 도구를 개발한다. 이미지 데이터 증강 도구에 객체가 존재하는 이미지를 입력하면, 해당 이미지로부터 객체 이미지를 추출한 후 수집한 배경 이미지 내에 객체 이미지를 합성하여 새로운 이미지를 생성한다. CNN 모델 성능 평가 방법으로 개발한 도구를 사용하여 기존 테스트 이미지로부터 새로운 테스트 이미지를 생성하고, 생성한 새로운 테스트 이미지로 CNN 모델을 평가한다. 사례 연구로 Pascal VOC2007 테스트 데이터로부터 새로운 테스트 이미지를 생성하고, 새로운 테스트 이미지로 YOLOv3 모델을 평가하였다. 그 결과 기존 테스트 이미지의 mAP 보다 새로운 테스트 이미지의 mAP가 약 0.11 더 낮아지는 것을 확인하였다.

  • The energy makes the basic element which improves the quality of life with motive power of industry and life. However, using the fossil fuel resources was restricted through it's abuse and exhaustion, and that cause a global warming resultingly. According to the reason, the world increased the interest that are stability and use of new and renewable energy which is clean energy with environment. Therefore, the property data of new and renewable is needed for developing and supplying the energy. In other words, the data of new and renewable energy becomes the standards for supply and evaluation of new and renewable energy with development of industry and technology. Also, the necessity came to the fore as the reference and standards of new and renewable energy data. Therefore, in this study, we evaluate and collect the solar radiation data as the new and renewable data and process the collected data through the standards for valuation. We evaluate uncertainty with standards which are NREL, WMO, and GUM. Whereby the data becomes reference standards data and gains the credibility. For the reliability data, we correct the measuring instrument with correction period. Using the DQMS and SERI QC, we efficiently manage and evaluate the solar radiation data. As a result, we evaluate uncertainty as 1,120 case about 16 area. we achieve credibility of data from evaluated solar radiation data and provide an accurate information to user. The annual average of horizontal radiation presents between 1,484 and 4,577, then the uncertainty evaluates from 163 to 453. The error of uncertainty presents smaller than the measurement values. So, we judge a credibility of data by expression of reliability quantitatively. In additional, the reference standards data which is possible to approach anywhere will be used for the supporting related industry and policy making.

cAMP 신호전달과정을 통한 신규 천연유래물질 펩타이드 유도체의 미백 효능 연구 (Whitening Efficacy Study of Natural Compounds-Peptide Derivatives via cAMP Signaling Pathway)

  • MC1R의 길항제 역할을 하는 펩타이드와 tyrosinase를 저해하는 효능을 가지는 천연유래 물질을 유도체화하여 신규 미백소재를 개발하였다. 또한 이러한 새로운 기작에 의한 미백 효능을 평가할 수 있는 방법을 cAMP 신호전달 과정을 활용하여 제시하였다. 총 24종의 유도체를 합성하였고, cAMP assay의 결과를 통해 11종의 유도체를 선별하였으며, 선별된 유도체에 대하여 멜라닌 형성 억제 효능을 평가하여 본 평가 방법의 유효성을 확인하였다. 이 과정에서 RW를 서열에 포함하는 펩타이드 유도체가 특별히 멜라닌 형성 억제 효능이 높은 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, cAMP assay는 MC1R의 antagonist라는 특정 타겟 물질을 디자인한 소재의 스크리닝 방법에는 활용할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 하지만, 미백소재로서의 가능성을 확인하기 위해서는 멜라닌 생성저해 시험과 병행하여야 할 것으로 판단된다.

독성가스시설의 인적오류 수행영향인자에 관한 연구 (A Study on Performance Shaping Factors of Human Error in Toxic Gas Facilities)

  • 독성가스시설에서 대형사고로 인한 손실을 감소시키기 위해서는 인적요소를 제어하고, 평가하는 것이 필요하다. 기존의 안전성 평가는 기계적 결함이나 시스템의 위험이 주로 강조되어 왔으며, 인적오류를 관리하는 평가방법이 부족하여 본 연구에서는 독성가스시설의 사고관리 상황에서 인적오류를 구성하는 수행영향인자 분류체계를 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 주요 수행영향인자 분류체계의 유형을 수집하여 검토와 분석을 한 후 4가지(작업자 특성, 시스템, 직무특성 및 직무환경)로 나누고, 독성가스시설의 상황적 특성과 직무특성 및 작업환경을 고려하여 수행영향인자를 선택하였다. 이로 부터 인적오류의 평가에 사용하기 적절한 수행영향인자 체계를 구축하고, 구축한 수행영향인자 분류체계를 독성가스시설에서 발생하였던 사고 사례분석을 통해 적용성을 검토하였다.

상부구조물과 금원주를 레진시멘트로 접착시킨 임프란트 보철물의 파절에 대한 연구 (A STUDY ON FAILURE STRENGTH OF THE IMPLANT PROSTHESIS LUTED WITH RESIN CEMENT BETWEEN GOLD CYLINDER AND SUPERSTRUCTURE)

  • This study was performed to determine the failure strength and pattern of implant prosthesis luted with resin cement between gold cylinder and superstructure, and to evaluate the bonding strength of resin cement. To evaluate failure strength and pattern, the groups were divided into 2. Group 1 : Casted gold cylinder Group 2 : Luted with resin cement between gold cylinder ans superstructure. To evaluate effects of the bonding strength of the implant prosthesis luted with resin cement according to storage condition, the groups were divided into 3 : Group A : Stored in waste at $37^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours. Group B : 1000 cycles thermocycled between $5^{\circ}C\;and\;55^{\circ}C$ in water. Group C : Stored in water at $37^{\circ}C$ for 30 days. The results were as follows. 1. Failure was found at gold screw in all specimens of group 1 & 2. 2. The bond strength in group 1 and 2 was 189.86 and 188.14kgf. There was no statistically significant difference between group 1 and 2(P>0.05). 3. The bond strength of group A, B and C was 53.28, 45,86 and 39.29Kgf. There result suggest the advantage of an improved fit of superstructure to the abutment and a simple procedure. But there was a measurable decrease of the bond strength according to storage condition. So, Further research is necessary to evaluate of the implant prosthesis luted with resin cement between gold cylinder and superstructure.

장경간 강바닥판 케이블교량에 적용하기 위한 폴리우레탄 폴리머콘크리트의 공용특성 연구 (A Study to Evaluate Performance of Poly-Urethane Polymer Concrete for Long-Span Orthotropic Steel Bridge)

  • PURPOSES: The purpose of this study is to evaluate physical properties, durability, fatigue resistance, and long-term performance of poly-urethane concrete (PU) which can be possible application of thin layer on long-span orthotropic steel bridge and to check structural stability of bridge structure. METHODS : Various tests of physical properties, such as flexural strength, tensile strength, bond strength and coefficient of thermal expansion tests were conducted for physical property evaluation using two types of poly urethane concrete which have different curing time. Freezing and thawing test, accelerated weathering test and chloride ion penetration test were performed to evaluate the effect of exposed to marine environment. Beam fatigue test and small scale accelerated pavement test were performed to assess the resistance of PU against fatigue damage and long-term performance. Structural analysis were conducted to figure out structural stability of bridge structure and thin bridge deck pavement system. RESULTS: The property tests results showed that similar results were observed overall however the flexural strength of PUa was higher than those of PUb. It was also found that PU materials showed durability at marine environment. Beam fatigue test results showed that the resistances of the PUa against fatigue damage were two times higher than those of the PUb. It was found form small scale accelerated pavement test to evaluate long-term performance that there is no distress observed after 800,000 load applications. Structural analysis to figure out structural stability of bridge structure and thin bridge deck pavement system indicated that bridge structures were needed to increase thickness of steel deck plate or to improve longitudinal rib shape. CONCLUSIONS: It has been known that the use of PU can be positively considered to thin layer on long-span orthotropic steel bridge in terms of properties considered marine environment, resistance of fatigue damage and long-term performance.

적외선 거리 센서 깊이이미지를 이용한 얼굴 인식 알고리즘 평가 (Evaluation of Depth Image of IR Range Sensor with Face Recognition Algorithms)

  • 적외선 거리 센서를 사용하여 취득한 깊이이미지(depth image)에 대하여 잘 알려진 얼굴인식 알고리즘을 수행하여 깊이이미지 응용에 적용가능성을 평가한다. 아울러, 기존의 얼굴인식이 정확도 측면에서만 강조를 해온 측면이 있는데 이렇게 하면 실제 환경에서 적용할 때 문제점을 제대로 평가하기 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 RGB 이미지와 깊이 이미지들에 대해 잘 알려진 얼굴 인식 알고리즘 (PCA, LDA, ICA, SVM)을 적용하여 얼굴인식 정확도뿐만 아니라 처리 속도, 사용 메모리 그리고 저장 공간에 대한 정보를 구해 이미지 유형과 각 알고리즘에 따른 전반적인 성능을 구하였다. 처리 결과 깊이이미지와 컬러 색인된 깊이이미지는 컬러이미지에 비해 각각 30% ~ 40% 정도 파일 크기가 작음에도 전반적인 성능에서 컬러이미지와 마찬가지로 우수한 결과를 보였으며, LDA는 SVM 다음으로 정확도도 우수하고 훈련시간과 훈련 소요메모리도 양호하고 테스트시간과 테스트 소요 메모리도 낮아 우수한 성능을 보였다.

외상후 스트레스장애 환자에서 장기 치료에 따른 카테콜아민과 코르티솔 변화 (The Changes in Biogenic Amines and Cortisol in Patients with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder After Long-Term Pharmacological Treatment)

  • Objective : This study was conducted to evaluate the changes in the levels of neurotransmitters and cortisol in patients with chronic posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and to evaluate their correlation with symptoms after long-term pharmacological treatment. Methods : Twenty-eight Vietnam veterans with chronic PTSD and 34 non-PTSD patients were consecutively recruited. The Combat Exposure Scale (CES), Mississippi Scale for Combat-Related Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (M-PTSD), Clinician Administered PTSD Scale (CAPS), Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HRSD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAS) were used to evaluate symptom severity. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used to measure the plasma levels of epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine, and a radioimmunoassay (RIA) was performed to evaluate the plasma level of cortisol. Results : Plasma cortisol was significantly lower in PTSD patients than in control subjects, while there was no significant difference in plasma epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine between the two groups. The scores of M-PTSD, CAPS, HAMD and HAMA were signigicantly higher in PTSD patients than control group. Conclusion : After long-term treatment, the levels of neurotransmitters in PTSD patients returned to within the normal range, and the patients' symptoms showed some improvement. However, the core symptoms of PTSD continued to appear intermittently, and they are thought to be associated with hormonal systems, such as the HPA axis. It is also suggested that PTSD should be considered to be a complex disorder associated with multiple systems and that combinations of the effective medications for each system should be used to treat patients with PTSD.

Evaluation of Anxiety and Depression in Patients with Disc Displacement according to Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders

  • Purpose: The etiology of temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) is complex and multifactorial including trauma, anatomical, pathophysiological, social and psychological factors. Psychological factors can induce or sustain TMDs in various ways. And psychological problems, such as anxiety and depression can be occurred due to TMDs. Therefore, evaluation of psychological factors in patients with TMDs is important. Although disc displacement (DD) is crucial in clinical situation, most of studies have focused on the relationship of psychosocial factors and myofascial pain. And also, Subtypes of DD can cause different degrees of discomfort, it is necessary to evaluate the psychological states of the patients according to the subtype. The Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale (HADS) is one of the self-report questionnaire to evaluate the psychological factors. HADS-Anxiety (HADS-A) and HADS-Depression (HADS-D) are assessed through 14 questions. The purpose of this study was to evaluate anxiety and depression assessed by HADS in patients diagnosed with subtypes of DD according to diagnostic criteria for TMDs. Methods: Four hundred thirty nine patients were diagnosed as one of the subtypes of DD. One hundred fourty nine subjects with no symptoms were set as control groups. All of them answered the HADS for Koreans. The cut-off score for anxiety and depression was set a score of 8. The chi-square test was performed to evaluate association between DD and anxiety/depression. Results: There was a significant difference in HADS-D between five groups (p<0.01). However, there was no significant difference in HADS-A. All the DD groups showed a significant difference in HADS-D compared with the control group except the DD without reduction without limited opening group. The DD without reduction with limited opening group showed the highest rates in HADS-D (40.4%). Conclusions: Based on the above results, it is necessary to consider the depression in treatment of the patients with DDs.
