피라네지 공간의 알레고리적 특성에 관한 연구 (An Analysis of Allegorian Characteristics of Piranesi's Etching Works)

  • After the 60's, The discourse of the Art of Reception, semiotics, and epistemology have been made steady progress. Especially, the Art of Reception which emphasizes the role of reader in the process of understanding the text, had made the significant role of the Border Dismantling in the Architecture. Its concept can be difined as the free interpretation of each individuals on the art works, that abhors the one-directional systems between reader and writer. This study analyzes the meaning of 'Borderness dismantling' as a molting the center of the world of God, center of Ideology, center of ration in the pluralized and center-cracked world. and also means vague border, no limitation, and overcoming, which make people participate together to overcome the estrangement. The process of study inquire into the phenomenon of fragmentization, indeterminacy, continuitiness, hybridization, mutual penetration, Rhizome and complex allegorization(the process of humanization) Looking back of architectural history, in the origin of those phenomenon, there is the etching works of Piranesi. Many contemporary architects had been affected by his works, and re-interpret and make come true of his visions. This study analyze the meanings of his working process and consequences on contemporary architecture.

실리콘 실험실에 구리 오염을 방지 할 수 있는 고밀도/고균일의 Solder Bump 형성방법 (Fabrication Method of High-density and High-uniformity Solder Bump without Copper Cross-contamination in Si-LSI Laboratory)

  • 사용되는 metal구분 없이 반도체 공정장비들을 사용함으로써 cross-contamination을 유발시킬 수 있다. 특히, copper(Cu)는 확산이 쉽게 되어 cross-contamination에 의해 수 ppm정도가 wafer에 오염되더라도 트랜지스터의 leakage current발생 요인으로 작용할 수 있기 때문에 Si-IC성능에 치명적인 영향을 미칠 수 있는데, Si-LSI 실험실에서 할 수 있는 공정과 Si-LSI 실험실을 나와 할 수 있는 공정으로 구분하여 최대한 Si-LSI 장비를 공유함으로써 최소한의 장비로 Cu cross-contamination문제를 해결할 수 있다. 즉, 전기도금을 할 때 전극으로 사용되어지는 TiW/Al sputtering, photoresist (PR) coating, solder bump형성을 위한 via형성까지는 Si-LSI 실험실에서 하고, 독립적인 다른 실험실에서 Cu-seed sputtering, solder 전기도금, 전극 etching, reflow공정을 하면 된다. 두꺼운 PR을 얻기 위하여 PR을 수회 도포(multiple coaling) 하고, 유기산 주석과 유기산 연의 비를 정확히 액 조성함으로서 Sn:Pb의 조성비가 6 : 4인 solder bump를 얻을 수 있었다. solder를 도금하기 전에 저속 도금으로 Cu를 도금하여, PR 표면의 Cu/Ti seed층을 via와 PR표면과의 저항 차를 이용하여 PR표면의 Cu-seed를 Cu도금 중에 etching 시킬 수 있다. 이러한 현상을 이용하여 선택적으로 via만 Cu를 도금하고 Ti층을 etching한 후, solder를 도금함으로써 저 비용으로 folder bump 높이가 60 $\mu\textrm{m}$ 이상 높고, 고 균일/고 밀도의 solder bump를 형성시킬 수 있었다.

폐리튬인산철 양극재 분말과 염화철 에칭액과의 반응에 의한 리튬의 침출 및 회수에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Leaching and Recovery of Lithium by Reaction between Ferric Chloride Etching Solution and Waste Lithium Iron Phosphate Cathode Powder)

  • 폐리튬인산철 전지의 양극재로부터 리튬을 효율적으로 회수하기 위하여 활발하게 연구 중이며, 이는 리튬 자원의 지역 편재성 및 가격 변동성을 해소하고 환경오염 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 폐리튬인산철 전지로부터 리튬을 침출 및 회수하기 위하여 동형치환 침출 공정을 사용하였다. 상대적으로 저렴한 염화철 에칭액을 침출제로 사용하여 LFP의 Fe2+를 동형 치환하여 리튬을 침출하였다. 또한 추가적인 첨가제 및 추출제 없이 염화철 에칭액만을 사용하였으며, 염화철 에칭액을 LFP 이론적 몰 비 대비 0.7배, 1.0배, 1.3배, 그리고 1.6배로 하여 리튬의 침출율을 비교하였다. LFP 몰 비 대비 1.3배의 조건에서 약 98%로 가장 높은 리튬 침출율을 보였고 이후 침출액은 NaOH를 투입하여 pH 조절을 통하여 철을 제거하였다. 철이 제거된 용액으로부터 탄산리튬을 합성하였고, 그 분말 특성을 확인하였다.

Dip 추출에서 유체 표면의 영향을 고려한 친환경 포토레지스트 박리공정 (Green Photoresist Stripping Process with the Influence of Free Surface from Dip Withdrawal)

  • This paper describes a green stripping process to effectively strip the remaining DFR layer on a non-alkali-based ITO glass surface after an etching process. A stripper, water-soluble amine compound, is used to investigate the characteristics of stripping ability and to suggest a valid method for the green process. Increasing the composition (5-30% concentration) of the ethanol amine-based stripper was found to greatly reduce the stripping time applied in the dipping method. The composition (30%) achieved an excellent stripping effect and free-residue impurities. Additionally, it was possible to obtain the effect of stripping in a way to sustain the release before generating DFR sludge from the ITO glass surface by using dipping condition (stripping time) in the composition. An Additional stripping process (buffering) out of dipping can realize productivity improvement and cost reduction because of the higher proportion of re-use of the stripping solution used in the DFR removal step.

실리콘 웨이퍼 표면의 saw mark 밀도에 따른 피라미드 구조의 영향 (Effect on the Pyramid Structure with Saw Mark Density of Silicon Wafer Surface)

  • Surface texturing is affected the uniformity and size of pyramid with saw mark defect density. To analysis the influence of the saw mark defect density, we textured various si wafer. When the texturing process proceeds without the saw mark removal, silicon wafer of low-saw mark defect density showed small pyramid size of $3.5{\mu}m$ with the lowest average value of the reflectance of 10.6%. When texturing carried out after removal of the saw mark using the TMAH solution, we obtained a reflectance of about 11% and the large pyramid size of $5{\mu}m$. As a result, saw mark wafers showed a better pyramid structure than saw mark-free wafer. This result showed that saw mark can take place more smooth etching by the KOH solution and saw mark-free wafer is determined to be a factor that have a higher reflectance and a large pyramid.

서보건을 이용한 알루미늄 합금의 저항 점용접 (Spot Welding of Aluminum Alloys Using Servogun)

  • Conventional method for electrode force application in resistance spot welding(RSW) processes is to use pneumatic cylinder. However, due to its inherent problems in pneumatic power system such as compressibility of air and poor transient response characteristics, new electrode force system with servo control are recently introduced in RSW machine. This machine is called “servogun”. The purpose of this study is to evaluate performance of servogun in case of spot welding of aluminum alloy. Aluminum alloy(A5052) sheets are spot welded using pneumatic gun and servogun. Both results are compared by means of macro cross-section etching test and tensile shear strength test. Numerous previous research have reported nugget with many voids and cracks are not uncommon defects in spot welds with aluminum alloy. The experimental results show similar defects in case of pneumatic gun. In contrast, use of servogun considerably reduced generation of voids and cracks. In case of step-wise increased forging force at the end of welding cycle with servogun, crack-free and void-free nuggets have been observed. The performance of servogun has been also verified by series of tensile shear test. Higher strength values have been achieved with servogun in comparison to that of pneumatic gun.

비고정화 된 일차원 광결정의 DBR 다공성 실리콘을 이용한 센서와 Drug Delivery로의 응용 (1-D photonic crystals of free-standing DBR PSi for sensing and drug delivery applications)

  • Free-standing multilayer distributed Bragg reflectors (DBR) porous silicon dielectric mirrors, prepared by electrochemical etching of crystalline silicon using square wave currents are treated with polystyrene to produce flexible, stable composite materials in which the porous silicon matrix is covered with caffeine-impregnated polystyrene. Optically encoded DBR PSi/polystyrene composite films retain the optical reflectivity. Optical characteristics of DBR PSi/polystyrene composite films are stable and robust for 2 hrs in a pH=7 aqueous buffer solution. The appearance of caffeine and change of DBR peak were simultaneously measured by UV-vis spectrometer and Ocean optics 2000 spectrometer, respectively.

Fabrication of Disordered Subwavelength Structures on Curved Surfaces by Using a Thermal Dewetting Process

  • We present disordered moth eye structures on curved surfaces fabricated by dry etching of thermally dewetted metal nanoparticles. This lithography-free fabrication allows the formation of subwavelength scale nanostructures on the strongly inclined surfaces such as ball lens as well as on the microlens arrays with low curvature. In particular, we found that the size and average distance of nanostructures are closely related to the inclined angle of the surface. Experimental results on oblique angle deposition of metal thin films followed by thermal dewetting also support these effects.

근접장 광기록용 서스펜션의 최적설계 (Optimal Design of a Near-field Optical Recording Suspension)

  • In this study the optimization of a NFR suspension is performed using finite element method and experimental modal analysis. NFR suspensions are required to have low compliance modes to allow the slider to comply with the rotating disk, and high tracking stiffness modes to maximize the servo bandwidth of the tracking controller First of all, the dual suspension model is designed based on the characteristics of NFR drives. And the parametric study on the sensitivities of compliance modes and tracking stiffness modes is investigated. Finally, the model satisfying static characteristics is selected and shape optimization is performed to improve dynamic characteristics. A prototype of a NFR suspension is made by etching and modal ekperiment in free state is performed. The results of experiment almost agree with those of finite element method.

양방향 반사 지연선을 이용한 무선, 무전원 SAW 기반 온, 습도 센서 개발 (Development of a Wireless, Battery-free SAW-based Temperature and Humidity Sensor incorporating a Bidirectional Reflective Delay Line)

  • A 440MHz wireless and passive surface acoustic wave (SAW) based micro-sensor was developed for simultaneous measurement of temperature and humidity. The developed sensor is composed of a SAW reflective delay lines structured by an IDT (Inter-Digital Transducer), four reflectors and humidity sensitive film (polyimide). Polyimide was dry-ecthed by RIE (Reactive Ion Etching) to obtain high roughness, which gives the large reaction area resulting in high sensitivity. In wireless testing using a network analyzer, sharp reflection peaks with high S/N ratio, small signal attenuation, and few spurious peaks were observed in the time domain. High sensitivity towards the temperature and humidiy were also observed in the large concentration range. The obtained sensitivity was $16.8^{\circ}/^{\circ}C$ for temperature sensor and $15.8^{\circ}$/%RH for humidity sensor.
