The Analysis on the Value of Yongsan National Park and its Economic Effect

  • This study estimated economic value and benefits of Yongsan National Park, which will be constructed by financial investment of the government and objectively estimated the real value of it by understanding the value of the park from a user's view of the park. For this, the value of Yongsan National Park is divided into using value such as carbon reduction and the function of relieving urban heat island as an environmental material and non-using value based on willingness to pay of the public according to the construction of the park. As a result of the analysis, it was found out that the using value of Yongsan National Park would reach 130 million won up to maximum level of 450 million won per year, and the non-using value was analyzed to be worthy of 2,344 won per capita every month. Besides, economic ripple effect that can be expected in the process of the park construction project was analyzed to be a national policy that creates effect on production inducement of 2.6 trillion won and value added of 809.6 billion won and new jobs for 25,620 persons. Considering the value of Yongsan National Park and the effect of the project based on the result of this study, it was found that it could sufficiently secure the validity of implementing the project compared to the financial investment by the government. Therefore, it must be emphasized that diffusion strategy is necessary for national understanding and for a nation to make it understood its appropriateness widely in respect to the construction of Yongsan National Park for the successful construction of Yongsan National Park and to raise its using value in the future.

Wankel 엔진의 에이펙스 시일 파손과 엔진 이상폭발과의 관계 (The ralationship between apex seal breakage and engine detonation in a wankel engine)

  • One of the most probable reason of the apex seal damage in IR-2500 industrial Wankel (rotary) engine was believed to be the engine detonation. Both analytical and experimental studies were made with a view th find out engine detonation pressure. The stagnation detonation pressure $p_{03}$' was estimated based on the data from IR-2500 engine detonation tests, such as engine firing pressure, state of fresh charge at BDC and polytropic compression exponent. The estimated stagnation detonation pressure for the natural gas fueled IR-2500 engine was in excess of 3,700 psia. With natural gas liquid added to the natural gas the octane value of the fuel was lowered, thus, making the engine more prone to detonate. The estimated detonation pressure for the case with the mixed fuel was about 3,400 psia which was sufficiently high to break the apex seal. The subsequent engine lab tests performed on two identical engines with sole difference in the apex seal thickness between the two engines proved that the engine knock, in fact, was the villain of the apex seal failure.ilure.

  • The sliding-mode control technique could make a system unstable which external disturbance and uncertainty exists in. This paper suggests a robust sliding-mode control algorithm which can be applied to a linear system with parameter uncertainties. To reduce the chattering effect, the whole system is comprised of using a state variable in which the state's estimated value is added. The condition of estimated state results from state observer. The proposed control algorithm uses the optimal feedback controller following the dynamic system equation which consists of a state variable resulting from its own state variable, controller input, estimated state variable. Through comparison with the time optimal control algorithm using simulation, the suggested algorithm shows the improved stability and robustness while it manifests the fast tracking characteristics.

장미, 동백 및 맨드라미꽃 첨가 약주의 품질 특성 및 항산화효과 (Quality Characteristics and Antioxidant Effects of Yakju Added with Rose, Camellia and Cockscomb Flower)

  • Purpose: This study investigated the quality characteristics and antioxidant effects of Yakju added with rose, camellia, or cockscomb flower during fermentation. Methods: The quality characteristics and antioxidant effects were estimated including pH, amino acidity, total acid, ethanol content, color value, sensory test, electric donating ability, nitrite-scavenging ability, and ferrous ion chelating effect. Results: The pH values of Yakjus added with rose, camellia, or cockscomb flower were decreased after 2 days of fermentation and then increased after 4 days of fermentation, with final pH ranging from 4.15 to 4.27. Total acid content and amino acidity were increased during fermentation. The ethanol content in Yakjus fermented with rose, camellia, or cockscomb flower was rapidly increased after 2 days of fermentation, reaching the maximum content of 19.1% after 8 days of fermentation. In color evaluation, the L values of Yakjus added with rose, camellia, or cockscomb flower did not changes during fermentation, whereas values of a and b were increased. Total phenolic compound contents in Yakjus added with rose, camellia, or cockscomb flower were 0.67, 0.59, and 0.52 mg/mL, respectively. Total flavonoid contents in Yakjus added with rose, camellia, or cockscomb flower were 0.20, 0.09, and 0.26 mg/mL, respectively. In sensory test, the overall acceptability of Yakjus added with cockscomb flower was higher than that of Yakju added with rose or camellia flower. However, the difference was not statistically significant (p<0.05). Electron donating ability and nitrite-scavenging abilities were the highest in Yakjus added with rose flower, whereas ferrous ion chelating effect was the highest in Yakjus added with cockscomb flower. Conclusion: These results indicated that Yakjus added with rose, camellia, or cockscomb flower might have valuable functional properties due to their antioxidant effects.

In Vitro에 의한 유황피복요소(硫黃被覆尿素)와 Diuredio Isobutane의 이용효과(利用效果) 판정(判定) (An Estimation on the Efficiency of Utilization of Sulfur Coated Urea and Diuredio Isobutane in Vitro)

  • In order to explore more efficient protein substitutes by improving the utilization of non-protein nitrogen compounds in ruminants, the experiment was undertaken. The effects of sulfur coated urea (SCU) and diuredio isobutane (DUIB) in the ruminal fluid on the concentration of $NH_3-N$, the total count of the ruminal ciliates and pH value were estimated in vitro. The results obtained from the experiment were as follows: 1. The pH of the media of the group added diuredio isobutane and sulfur costed urea tends to decrease slightly at 9 hours after the incubation, but no pH changes were observed in the media added urea alone. 2. The number of the ciliates in the ruminal fluid was slightly increased 9 hours after the incubation in all groups. 3. The concentrations of $NH_3-N$ in the ruminal fluid were gradually increased according to the incubation in vitro showing 418, 431 and $627{\mu}g/ml$ in the group added diuredio isobutane and 428, 569 and $792{\mu}g/ml$ in the group added sulfur coated urea at 0, 0.5 and 9 hours after the incubation, respectively.

산업연관분석을 이용한 정보보호 산업의 경제 파급효과 분석 (The Analysis of Economic Impact for Information Security Industry using Inter-Industry Analysis)

  • 인공지능, IoT 등의 4차 산업의 등장으로 정보화는 가속화됨에 따라 정보보호 산업의 중요성과 시장의 규모가 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 증가하는 정보보호 산업이 국내 경제에 미치는 영향을 산업연관표를 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 논문에서는 산업부문을 정보보호 제품산업과 정보보호 서비스 산업을 분류한 후에, 35개의 산업으로 산업연관표를 재분류하였고, 생산유발계수, 부가가치유발계수, 고용유발계수 등을 산출하였다. 정보보안 제품산업과 정보보안 서비스 산업의 생산유발계수는 각각 1.571, 1.802이고, 부가가치유발계수는 각각 0.632, 0.997이고, 고용유발계수는 각각 2.494, 7.361이다. 정보보호 서비스 산업의 부가가치유발계수만이 전체 산업보다 다소 높고, 나머지 유발계수는 모두 전체 산업보다 낮게 나타났다. 그리고 정보보호 제품산업에는 전·후방연쇄효과가 없고, 정보보호 서비스 산업에는 후방연쇄효과는 없으나 전방연쇄효과는 있는 것으로 나타났다. 정보보호 산업의 경제적 파급효과를 분석한 결과, 생산유발액은 359.9조원, 부가가치유발액은 164.8조원에 달하고, 803천명의 고용을 유발하는 것으로 나타났다.

Optimization of Cholesterol Removal Conditions from Homogenized Milk by Treatment with Saponin

  • This study was carried out to determine the optimum conditions for cholesterol removal from homogenized milk by treatment with saponin using a response surface methodology (RSM). The effects of temperature, reaction time, and amounts of celite or saponin added on cholesterol removal from milk were investigated. The level of cholesterol removal from milk increased with saponin concentration and varied from 57.4 to 73.3%. The optimum reaction time, amount of celite addition determined by a partial differentiation of the model equation, and amount of saponin addition were 30min, 0.95% and 1.5%, respectively. Under these conditions, the predicted cholesterol removal by RSM was estimated to be 73.4%. The experimental removal value was 73.7%. Thus, there was no appreciable difference between the experimental value and the predicted value based on RSM.

항만 액체화물 처리의 경제적 파급효과 분석 - 울산항 액체화물 중심 - (An Analysis on Economic Effects of Port-Liquid Freight - Focusing on Ecomomic effects of Liquid Freight in Ulsan Port -)

  • 본 논문은 액체화물 처리의 경제적 파급효과를 울산항을 중심으로 분석한다. 이를 위해 액체화물의 항만처리단계별 항만물류부문 직접 생산액을 실태조사를 통해 추정 도출한다. 또한 항만물류산업의 생산활동에 의한 지역경제적 파급효과 계측을 위해 항만물류부문을 외생화한 31부문 울산지역 산업연관분석을 실시한다. 주요 결과로 2006년 기준으로 울산항 액체화물 항만처리단계 중 하역/보관/배송단계의 항만물류생산액이 가장 크며, 선박 입출항/접안/정박 단계의 생산액이 가장 적은 것으로 나타났다. 액체화물 처리로 울산지역경제에서 직 간접적으로 약 1조 8,167억원의 생산, 약 4,891억원의 부가가치와 약 6,4412명의 취업이 울산항의 액체화물 처리에 의해서 유발되는 것으로 추정되어 울산지역 항만물류산업 생산에 의한 지역경제적 파급효과의 약 70%가 액체화물의 처리에 의해 발생되는 것으로 나타났다.

다이오드 검출기를 이용한 초소형 X선관(Miniature X-ray Tube)의 반가층 측정 (HVL Measurement of the Miniature X-Ray Tube Using Diode Detector)

  • X선은 방사선 진단과 치료 분야에 있어서 다양하고 광범위하게 이용되고 있으며, 최근에는 방사선 치료용 초소형 X선관이 개발되었다. 초소형 X선관은 조사 목적 부위에 직접 삽입하여 사용되므로 제작 시준기에 따라 다양한 각도로 X선 조사가 가능하고, 검사 목적 외의 환자 피폭선량을 최소화한다. 이러한 초소형 X선관의 장점을 이용해서 X선 영상을 획득하는데 적용한다면 X선 진단 분야의 새로운 장을 열 것으로 기대된다. 하지만 초소형 X선관은 본래 치료용으로 설계되었기 때문에 진단용 장비에 적합한 시준기, 필터(added filter) 등이 필요하다. 따라서 자체 제작한 시준기와 필터를 적용하여 초소형 X선관의 빔 특성이 진단용에 적합한지 평가 하였고, 이를 위해서 다이오드 검출기를 이용하여 반가층을 측정하고 측정의 가능성을 평가하였다. 본 연구에서는 Si PIN Photodiode type인 Piranha 검출기(Piranha, RTI, Sweden)를 사용하여 필터 적용 유무에 따른 초소형 X선관의 반가층을 측정하고, 알루미늄 필터를 사용한 측정을 통하여 Piranha 검출기의 반가층 측정의 정확성을 평가하였다. 측정 결과에 따르면 초소형 X선관의 반가층은 필터의 장착에 따라 약 1.9배 증가하여 진단용 방사선 발생 장치의 적합성을 확인하였다. Piranha 검출기의 반가층 자동 측정값은 필터를 미장착한 경우에 실제 반가층 측정값에 비해 50% 높게 측정되어 적용이 불가능하나, 필터를 장착한 경우에는 실제 반가층 측정값과 약 15%의 차이로 감소되었다. 따라서 진단용 필터를 적용했을 경우는 Piranha 검출기의 반가층 자동측정이 가능하여 kV-X선 특성평가를 수월하게 수행할 것으로 기대된다.

한국인 총당류 섭취기준 설정 (Establishment of Total Sugar Reference Value for Koreans)

  • Sugars are a ubiquitous component of our food supply and are consumed as a naturally occurring component of many foods and as additions to foods during processing, preparation, or at the table. Most fruits and dairy products are high in sugars and thus naturally occurring sugars are consumed as part of a healthy diet. Some countries developed recommended daily intake figures(daily values : DVs or guideline daily amounts: GDA) for nutrients, and some countries, but not most have developed DV/GDA for total sugars. Dietary Reference Intakes for Koreans established by the Korean Nutrition Society in 2005, did not include the reference values for total sugar or added sugar. The committee on Dietary Reference Intakes for sugar was constituted in 2006 and discussed whether to special added sugars or total sugar. Although added sugars are not chemically or physiologically different from naturally occurring sugars, many foods and beverages that are major sources of added sugars have lower micronutrient densities compared with foods and beverages that are major sources of naturally occuring sugars. But it was so hard to calculate a dietary intake of added sugar for Korean people, because there was insufficient information about contents of added sugar during processing or preparation of Korean food. Currently Korean or US food labels contain information on total sugars per serving but do not distinguish between sugars naturally present in food and added sugars. Therefore the committee decided to set the reference value for total sugar for Koreans. According to the recommended diet pattern for Koreans suggested by the Korean Nutrition Society, estimated sugar intake from the sugar containing food based on 2,000 kilocalories is 67 g or 13% of total energy. Based on the data available on risk of obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome from the analysis of Korean NHANES, it was insufficient evidence to set a UL for total sugar, but tended to increase serum LDL cholesterol and obesity at over 20-25% of energy from total sugar when consumed with high carbohydrates. Therefore the committee on Dietary Reference Intakes for sugar set the Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Range for total sugar as 10-20% of total energy intake.
