본 연구는 피부미용사를 대상으로 한 직무 스트레스와 소진 및 공감만족을 조사한 연구이다. 자료 수집을 위해 서울지역과 경기도 지역의 268명 피부미용사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지 구성은 KOSS의 24개 항목과 ProQOL의 소진과 공감만족 각 10개 항목으로 구성되어 있다. 이 결과 한국의 직업적 스트레스 척도와 비교했을 때 상위 75%에 포함되었으며, 일반적인 특성에 따라 피부미용사들의 직무스트레스 및 소진과 공감만족이 보통 수준 이상으로 나타났다. 피부미용사들의 소진이 결코 적지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 피부미용사들의 직무스트레스와 소진을 줄이는 방법을 찾는 데 있어 기초자료로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to measure estheticians' grip and pinch strength in the hand parts and identify related factors according to general characteristics. Methods: A Jamar dynamometer was used to measure grip strength and a Jamar pinch gauge was used to measure tip, palmar and lateral pinch strength. General data were collected through a questionnaire survey among 116 estheticians from 31 skin care centers and spas. Results: The subjects' mean grip strength was 23.95 kgf for the right hand and 23.42 kgf for the left hand with the dominant right hand recording slightly higher mean grip strength. Their mean pinch strength was the highest with lateral pinch(right 4.89 kgf, left 4.69 kgf), which was followed by palmar pinch(right 3.77 kgf, left 3.88 kgf) and tip pinch(right 2.29 kgf, left 2.25 kgf), in that order. Conclusions: The grip and pinch strength of the hand parts was high when estheticians' commonly used both hands for massage instead of just one. The use of both hands is recommended to protect the hand parts during massage.

This study focuses on 130 estheticians currently working in and around Daegu and Gyeongbuk region, in order to find out the current state of affairs and side effects related to aromatherapy. This paper is based on a survey. SPSS win 11.0 program was used for the analysis of descriptive statistics and independent t-test. According to the result of analysis, about 33% of the estheticians have had allergy experience. And in terms of installation of an air ventilation fan, which is the most important facility in an treatment room, more than half (50.8%) replied they did not have one. There was a statistically significant difference between those estheticians suffering from allergy and those who did not, in symptoms of stuffy nose/rhinitis (P<0.01) and dry skin/itchiness (P<0.5). (Allergy symptoms from the 33% of estheticians were limited to those which occurred after he or she began career) On work related symptoms, those who had work history at hospitals/clinics or apothecaries were compared. A statistically relevant difference was confirmed between those estheticians with therapy experience and those who had none, in all symptoms except headaches and drowsiness/weariness. In other words, there was difference in symptoms such as dryness of skin/itchiness (P<0.01), stuffy nose/rhinitis, dry throat, tension/nervousness, dizziness, tired eyes(P<0.5), nausea, having trouble with focusing, and fatigue(P<0.1). Those estheticians who had a history of treatment especially suffered most from dryness of skin and itchiness. The rate of regular check-ups and the use of masks, employed for self protection, was lower than average (amounting to 5 points), with the use of masks especially having the lowest average (1.7) points.

최근 국내 화장품 시장이 빠르게 성장하면서 많은 사람들이 피부관리에 관심을 가지게 되었다. 이에 피부미용관련 직종 중 대표 직업군인 피부미용사들의 자신의 직업에 대한 직업존중감과 만족도를 조사하여 현재 뷰티산업에 종사하는 전문가들의 직업만족도를 알아보고자 하였다. 조사는 서울 및 경기지역에 거주하는 현직 피부관리사 289명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였고 그 결과 응답자의 대부분은 자신의 직업존중감이 높은 것으로 나타났다(M=3.81). 그러나 남, 여에 따라 '정당한 대우'에서, 학력에 따라 '상대적 우위'에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다(p<.o1). 직업만족도에서도 M=3.34로 높은 만족도를 보였고 근무시간, 직위, 급여에 따라 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 자아존중감과 직업존중감이 높을수록 직업의식에 대한 직무만족도가 높아진다. 따라서 직업의 가치를 평가하는 사회적 인식 수준의 향상과 자신의 직무에 대한 긍정적인 가치관이 피부미용사들의 직업 만족도를 높여 직무능력 향상에도 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate estheticians' self-reported pain symptoms and pain levels according to the parts of the hand. Methods: Data were collected through a questionnaire survey among 116 estheticians from 31 skin care centers and spas. Information about general characteristics, job characteristics and work characteristics were based on data from the self-administered questionnaire. To determine the self-reported pain symptoms and pain levels according to the parts of the hand, a Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaire was used. Results: The subjects had the greatest self-reported pain symptoms in the thumb(Right: 53.4%, Left: 46.6%) and felt the highest level of pain in the wrist(Right: 4.87 points, Left: 4.71 points). Physical burdens and age had statistically significant effects on the pain level in the right hand, while physical burdens and the manager rather than the director had statistically significant effects on the pain level in the left hand. Conclusions: Since the thumb and wrist have the greatest subjective pain symptoms in the hand, the use of proper tools is recommended in order to reduce the usage of the thumbs during massage, as is regular stretching to protect the wrists.

피부미용사들의 전문직업성에 대한 인식을 밝혀보고자 2009년 4월 1일부터 4월 20일까지 전라북도 군산시와 전주시의 피부미용사 290명을 대상으로 설문조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 변인별 전문직업성은 연령, 학력, 현 근무지 근무 연수에 따른 전문직업성은 통계적으로는 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았지만, 삶의 만족도, 직무만족도별 전문직업성은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 삶의 만족도에 따른 전문직업성은 삶에 대해 만족하는 피부미용사가 그렇지 않은 피부미용사보다 높았고(t =2.77, p<.01), 직무만족도에 따른 전문직업성은 직무에 대해 만족하는 피부미용사가 가장 긍정적이었고, 보통인 피부미용사가 불만족하는 피부미용사보다 높지 않았다(F= 6.06, p<.01). 둘째, 전문 직업성의 하위요인간의 상관관계 분석 결과, 자율성 (r=.595, p<.001), 전문조직의 활용(r=.428, p<.001), 직업에 대한 소명의식(r=.492, p<.001)과는 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였으며, 서비스에 대한 신념 (r=-.634, p<.001), 자기규제에 대한 신념 (r=-.485, p<.001)과는 통계적으로 유의미한 부적 상관관계를 보였다.

건강하고 아름답게 살고자 하는 욕구가 높아지면서 의료미용분야도 양적 질적 성장을 거듭하고 있으며, 의료분야에 뷰티서비스를 통합적으로 적용하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 의료미용서비스를 제공하는 종사자를 대상으로 직무요구와 의료미용간의 직무자원 조절적 역할을 검증하고 직무요구, 직무전문성이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 연구방법은 의료미용사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 자료는 Spss 21.0을 이용하여 요인분석 및 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석 등을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째. 직무요구는 협력자원만이 직무자원조절 효과가 나타났다. 둘째, 직무자원이 의료 미용전문성에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 협력자원과 기기활용 자원이 정(+)의 영향이 나타났다. 셋째, 직무요구도와 전문성이 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 직무요구인 업무긴장도는 부(-), 업무부하량은 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 의료미용 전문성이 직무만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 의료미용사의 인적관리를 위해서는 다양한 직무자원의 지원이 지속적으로 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

본 연구는 라이프 케어를 위한 피부관리사의 코칭 리더십이 자기효능감과 직무만족에 미치는 영향요인을 조사하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 피부관리사의 코칭리더십이 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 하위변수인 관계(β=.261, p<.001), 방향제시(β=.238, p<.01), 평가(β=.175, p<.01), 개발(β=.170, p<.01)이 자기효능감에 통계적으로 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 피부관리사의 코칭리더십이 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 코칭리더십의 하위변수인 관계(β=.403, p<.001), 방향제시(β=.384, p<.001), 평가(β=.170, p<.01)가 직무만족에 통계적으로 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 피부관리사의 자기 효능감이 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 자기 효능감(β=.707, p<.001)은 직무만족에 통계적으로 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 피부관리사 코칭리더십과 직무만족의 관계에서 자기효능감은 코칭리더십의 하위요인별 방향제시, 개발, 평가, 관계와 직무만족 간의 관계에서 부분매개 조건을 충족하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
